Noelle always wore a necklace. It's made of fresh water pearls and a shiny diamond-shaped emerald in the middle of the expensive crystal neck piece.
The color of which is the prime example of Mawces naming of her newfound friend (?), Em!
Em's eyes were the exact color of Noelle's beautiful gem necklace, though the gem might be more vibrant than Em's eyes... Mawce might need to do a comparison next time Em and Noelle are in the same room.
The necklace in question was as beautiful as Mawce remembered when she had last seen-... Noelle...
Old gems were replaced for shinier ones and fewer sharp hurtful gems. Mawce renembers the sharp sapphire that used to be the center piece to the necklace when Noelle was engaged to that guy to the water kingdom. It was replaced by noelles' new lover or whatever, Mawce didn't really remember their name, plussss... they've never really met the guy.
Anyways! Mawce found Noelle's necklace beautiful and wanted one to share something in common with the taller, besides of course their hair colors, maybe one day they can have a day they have to themselves, maybe with Em, caring for their hair and sharing things friends would...
Nahhh, Mawce would rather share the necklace aspect for now.

Mining was too hard for Mawce, plus the precious gems were expensive for a reason. The damn jewels were rare as hell and hard to polish and get into a perfect looking cut.
Sooooo, Mawce chose the easier, less expensive option! Making a flower necklace! Flower crowns were easy enough, so what's so wrong with a flower necklace?
Mawce knew they wanted a few river flowers to be like Noelle's fresh water pearls. So they had asked Em for directions to a few rivers and headed there with a bucked Em left out and Mawce... borrowed it... ahem... and a umbrella that Em says blocks out the sun rays so they could be outside longer!
It was quite overgrown and quite loud. The birds, that Em hasn't caught and sold off or whatever she does with her brethren are singing their songs and chirping quite loud. There are crickets still making noise with some frogs within the torso height grass and weeds.
There is moss along the rocks and river bank that Mawce will be sure to collect later --for personal use.
They're quite surprised with the vibrancy and diversity of the flowers; there are some lovey looking purple irises, quite a bright yellow marigold, a deep red cardinal flower.
There's some flowers in the pond not far from the river, so, after picking the best flowers and taking most of the moss, (gotta leave some to regrow of course!), they make their way to the pond Em spoke about.
There's some cool water flowers in it, some lily pads, and some extremely pretty flowers on the lily pads. Mawce quite liked them. The petals had that look that was almost exactly like Noelle's pearls. They look so soft too...
They pick them... well rather pluck them out of the water and plop it into the bucket carefully.
Mawce kind of doubts they can use it in the necklace, buttt it looks pretty and could just be relocated to where Mawce and Em live if it couldn't work in a necklace.
After a bit Mawce heads back and runs over to the woods to grab woodland flowers too.
There's the deep red rose bushes, lapis lazuli colored cornflowers, resilient sunny buttercups and dandelions and a few fuzzy purple alliums.
Mawce picked some and headed to Em's house and dumped the flowers onto Em's birch floors and started their work of weaving the stems together. It took a few tries and sadly some flowers... ahem the lotus and water lily... ahem... couldn't be used and had to be put back into the bucket for relocation.
The necklace was mostly the woodland flowers, sadly, though a few of the river side flowers remained!
The irises, marigolds and cardinal flowers were kept in giving each color a pop as Noelle would, probably, say!
There were vibrant yet deep blues, red's, yellows, purples and whites!
Mawce, may or may not have... found some potted azure bluets in Em's house and used them... it's fineeee, Mawce will replace them later... unless Em notices first.
Finally the necklace was finished! Mawce happily looked at their creation in Em's mirror.
Em walks past the room and notices the smaller stood looking at themselves.
"What ya doin?" She speaks as she walks in with a box full of materials for their daily chores and new building they're making.
"Oh! Know how Noelle has this pretty necklace? That's like really expensive?! I make one to look like it!" They smile and turn to show off the necklace, the petals cover up Mawce's neck. It is also quite a pretty look as the deep red's and blues match with their horns and tail.
Em smiles and nods, liking the choices of colors that add more, well, colors to Mawces dark and forest green color pallet.
"Yeah! It's pretty, adds color" she smiles and places the box to the side. "Though, it doesn't have that white pearl color on it." They remark and pause to think of flowers that would work to fix it "Lily of the valley? It would add more of that pearl color?"
"Hm... nah, like it as is! It's my personal spin on Noelle's!"
Mawce smiles and plays with the rose bud on the side to make it more present-able.
"Oh! By the way! Noelle will be coming over soon!" Mawce smiles in the mirror and shifts the azure bluets to compliment the red's and blues more.
Em is a bit shocked, she sighs but defeatedly nod, knowing she will work with both Mawce and Noelle around.
"Alright," they pick up the box full of supplies and stretch their blue and wings the tips ending with a saturated yellow, the feathers and wing structure is cramped in the small basement.
"Tell me in advance when you invite some one over? I kind of need to know so I'm not building or working while we have guests" she gives Mawce a light warning,
"Can't trust Shrumi after he kept punching Noelle of the ocean cliff side or with the new 'sewer system'." she mutters remembering Noelles maze like sewer system with little tunnels in her house that almost all of them lead to the ocean.
Mawce nods "Soz king!" They smile a toothy smile as they fix the rose once again, careful to not break the buds or break off anymore petals.

Noelle finishes up working around the rainbow colored village. Doing chores around there to earn some money and learn some new skill sets.
Currently she's walking through Lilac lanes, going to cornflower fields for her next quick job of sweeping some floors and pick some flowers for the florists shop.
She's got to not forget the time as Mawce had sent a message about meeting up at around midday.
She may of gotten the time wrong due to the fact Mawce doesn't understand the construct of time but eh, if she's late she'll just buy a gift from in town for her just in case.

It's around 3 Pm currently, late by a bit... so Noelle pulls up her hood and scarf to hide her horns and animalistic freckles. She heads to the green village to buy from the Huntsman there.
There's multiple animal and hybrid jewelry. Lots of hybrids which makes Noelles skin crawl.
...this could be her one day...
She walks over to the Huntsman "do you have any animal claw or fang jewelry?" She asks, looking down to hide her pupils which make it blatant she's a hybrid.
"Yeah, over by the window over there." He shoos her off after hearing the chime of the store's door bell and seeing wealthy noble man who had just walked in, the Huntsman thinking he'd have more business with the noble than the well off middle class.
Noelle rolls her eyes, annoyed by the greed of the man, she makes sure her scoff was heard as she walked over to where she was directed and looks over the items.
She knows that just little trinkets weren't going to be of value since Mawce won't be able to use them as much, so maybe jewelry?
Theres a plentiful amount to choose from, ones with beads and a few fangs to ones with only a single claw on them.
It's all a hard choice. Noelle's pretty sure that Mawce would like a fang more than a sharply cut gem. But if not...
eh, she'll just head over to the jeweler in Lilac Lanes next time to get Mawce some gems.
The nobleman leaves not buying anything, leaving the Huntsman watching over Noelle, making sure she wouldn't steal anything.
She looks over a simple fang necklace and a claw necklace. Both only having a single fang or claw with maybe 2 or 4 beads on it.
She soon chooses the fang necklace and walks over to the Huntsman to pay.
"60 Iron coins or 15 gold coins for that" he speaks and checks over a red book.
"That much for a simple fox fang?"
"Yep, girlie your in chroma, foxes aren't from around here" the man humorously laughs at her.
"The nearest biome their native to is less than a days travel away. Your scamming people." She sighs and tosses the money over in a cheap gem and walks out, done with how hot her hood and scarf is getting.
She would of had a little argument with the shop keep but she's got to get to Em and Mawces place soon.

The Nether is as hellish as always. The airs native warped and crimson spores are the only things keeping her breathing in the stifling and practically radioactive construct of the Nether.
Chromia's portal mimics a more fancier Fortress. It's a much more red gothic architecture version of the thing it's based off of and is a staggering difference to chromia's architecture, though, chromia is known for its differing architecture designs, though sorted with colored roofing.
Noelle's heels dig into the soft but tough Nether rack. The chroma Nether hub isn't properly connected to anywhere or anything, unlike Em's and Shrumi's Nether hubs... so Em and Mawces home is a little carved out cave and pathing to and from chromia.
Finally after walking winding and tightly dug tunnels later, Noelle is at Em's Nether hub, the glass walls showing off the real and basic Fortress right outside Em's door.
She walks into the portal, the soft hum of the purple swirling glossy portal inside obsidian frame transferring her body from the underworld into the overworld of her friends house.
She steps out onto the birch wood floor and steadys herself on the side of wall as she lets her body settle from changing to the nether and to the over world again.
"Mawce is outside in front of my house" Em makes herself known as she grabs a bit of wood from a chest and tosses her a bottle of water. "I'll tell Mawce you'll be out in a moment"
Noelle nods and takes the drink, naturally hesitant to drink, due to... some... past issues back at home.
"Drink it, it'll help with the dizziness" Em speaks up again and kicks a vine in the flora decorated room. "Uh... I'll just... go now..." she walks over to the ladder out and climbs out the cramped basement.
Soon Noelle recovers from the difference in air and the temperature difference is extremely different from the Nether than the overworld.
She meets Mawce in the lawn. Their messy and slightly unkempt hair in a new style, covering up her neck. They exchange greetings and speak and they start to walk to Mawces side of the forest.
"Noelle! You know your necklace?!" They smile, "the shiny and sparkl-y looks one your always wearing? Like right now?" She smiles.
"Yeah?" She smiles and leans Mawce to their forest, since they were straying away to a cliff side.
"I really liked it, soooo!" They shove their hair to the side to show off the necklace they made, "I made one like it!"
Noelle looks over the flowers and smiles happily, she's touched at the thought of them taking the time to make something in the thought of her stuff.
"Its very pretty Mawce. Hm... well since I'm kind of late, I have this as well"
she takes out the fang tooth and hands it over to Mawce.
"Its not much but I know you used to have foxes so, here, and if you want we can head to Chromia and buy some to add onto it." She offers as she continues to lead Mawce over to their house.
Mawce smiles tooth-ily at the gift.
"Could you put this on me? I don't think I can put this on myself due to my horns." They speak, they continue to walk, not dodging the low hanging branch due to their height.
However Noelle needs to swat away the branch due to it being at her chest height. She smiles and nods, soon after nodding, they realize that they can't see their nod and speak up. "Yeah! Of course I can help with putting it on. Do you know how to tie a knot perchance?."
