You and Nami have been best friends for their entire lifes. Through all your childhood, she's been there for you, and you were for her too. Now, both of you were starting University. Not only that, just the best university in the country. You were so happy, since that ment basically going to live toghether with none other than your best friend.
The day you two got to your dorm room, you started arranging and decorating everything. So, when you both settled in and finished arranging your new home, you two decided to do a girl's night. Nami got snacks and you got skincare. You two had a variety of movies to watch, and chatted all night until you fell asleep.
A week later, you two started your classes. Your first class was about to start. You said goodbye to Nami, who didn't have the same class, and entered your class.
The class was HUGE. There were a lot of people. Probably this was more of a general subject rather than a more career-specific one. So, you went to an empty seat and sat there, waiting for the teacher to come in. You looked around at the students that were already there. They all seemed to have frends already, so you thougt to just keep to yourself. While you waited for the class to start, you decided to eat some snack you broucht in your purse. You opened your kitkat, and started eating it. Suddently, a boy popped out of nowhere at the seat next to you.
-Hey, that looks good! Give me one!!- He said looking straight at me. He was smiling as if that was the most normal thing to do.
- Okay! - I said. Then I chuckled. This guy was defimitely very funny. He was wearing a red tank top and jorts. With flip-flops. I gave him another kitkat I had as a spare in my purse.
-Thanks! What's your name? My name's Luffy.
_My name's Y/N! Nice to meet you.
-Nice to meet you too Y/N!
Then, class started, so you began to take notes. Luffy, on the other hand, was trying very hard to concentrate and take notes, but he got distracted very easily. You decided to let him borrow your notes afterwards. After class, you asked Luffy if he was hungry.
-Are you hungry?
-YES. I wanrt food!- He said dramatically.
-Okay let's go eat something then! I'm hungry too...
You and him went to a cafeteria nearby. He sat down at an empty table while you ordered something to eat. When you got the food, you went to the table and sat down.
-FOOOOD!- Luffy said, as if he was starvilg literally.-Thank you Y/N- he said, while eating the sandwich I bought him. I chuckled.
-Anytime Luffy!- I smiled- By the way, do we have the same classes?
-I don't know. But I would like to have a friend in every class!
-Me too! Can I see your schedule?
-Sure! - Luffy hands you his schedule. You compare it to your schedule. Apparently, you both had all the same classes. You felt truly relieved.
-We have the same schedule!!!!- You said. You were sooooo happy, actually.
-YAYYYY! THAT'S AMAZING- Luffy hugged you, excited about his new friend.
-YESSSS!!
You and Luffy went to the next class. At the end of the day, you could tell he was definitely going to be your best friend. You were walking back to your dorm, with Luffy, because he said he wanted to walk with you, and you saw Nami walkling there as well.
-Nami!!!!- You called her.
-Y/N!!!- She turned around excited to see you.
-Oh! Who's that guy with you?- She said, noticing Luffy.
_This is Luffy, my friend. We have all the same classes toghether.- I explained.
-Oh, I see. Well, Luffy, would you like to hang out with us?
-Okay!-He said, happy to be included.- What's your name?
-Nami. Nice to meet you.
You three hung out all evening, it was really nice making new friends like that. Eventually you all walked around the campus, just to see everything and maybe even meet new people. You and Nami walked normally, but luffy went around like a curious kid. He disappeared from one moment to another then appeared again with something in his hand. Then, you three were walking pass the campus gym, and we saw a green-haired muscular guy lifting around 200Kg. Luffy seemed very impressed by this and waited for him to finish so he could talk to him. You and Nami decided to wait outside. Then, 30 minutes later, Luffy and the guy came out of the gym.
-Hey girls! This is my friend, Zoro!- Luffy said, smiling and laughing. Then Zoro turned to us.
-Hey. - He said, looking very serious.
-Hi, I'm Nami.
-Hi! I'm Y/N, nice to meet you.
- Zoro is going to hang out with us too!- Luffy said, excited.
- Okay then, let's keep going.- You said, continuing to walk with Nami and the two boys.
You and Nami were getting along with them pretty quickly. They seemed nice enough. As you all kept walking, you passed by a cooking class that apparently just ended.
-Smells like some delicious food... -Luffy said, probably thinking about getting some of it for himself. Then, out of nowhere, a blonde guy with a weird eyebrow showed up.
-OH; LOVELY LADIES! Do you want food? I can give you all my food I just cooked!- He was talking to You and Nami. His eyes almost became literal hearts.
-Hi, I would like to try the food.- You said. You'd NEVER let go of an opportunity to eat free food.
-HEY! I WOULD LIKE FOOD TOO! - Luffy said, being ignored by blonde guy.
-Hello to you too, love cook. -Zoro said, like he goes through this same situation everyday.
- You two men will wait. Ladies eat first. -The cook said, proceeding to ignore them and give you and Nami two plates of fuly cooked meals that, honestly, looked delicious. You and Nami ate everything.
-OH MY GOD this is so good. Thanks cook! - You said.
-It's really good! - Nami added to the conversation.
-Oh, pretty girls... thanks you two. Now, my life is fullfilled. The most pretty ladies told me my food is delicious. - He said dramatically.- My name is Sanji, by the way. The idiot with green hair is my friend Zoro. I guess you know him already.
- YOU'RE THE IDIOT STUPID COOK. - Zoro said, annoyed.
- YOU MOSSHEAD. DIE. -Sanji said. Then Luffy started laughing at the situation.
-You two are funny. Be my friend too Sanji!- Luffy said with a smile.
-Why would I be friends with you.-Sanji questioned.
-Nami, Y/N and Zoro are my friends too!
-I'M YOUR FRIEND! -Sanji said, motivated by the only two girls in the group.
And, like that, the group for the hangout just kept growing thanks to Luffy. His next victim was Usopp, a guy that was studying arts. Next, a lovely woman called Robin, that was studying to be an Archeologist. This was her 3rd career. And lastly, a little reindeer with a blue nose, apparently he was gifted and allowed to enter medical school early. At the end of the night, you all exchanged numbers and made a groupchat called "hangout" just because no one had a better idea and luffy wanted to call it "food friends".
You and Nami went back to your dorm. You two clearly exhausted from the evening.
-I can't believe luffy befriended all these people just in a normal evening. -You said.
-I KNOW! it's crazy!! This guy is something else.- Nami replied. Then sighed.- I'm exhausted. I'm going to sleep, we have classes early tomorrow.
I sighed remembering I had to go to class.
-Yeah, I want to sleep too.
You took a shower, brushed your teeth and went straight to bed.
