Who said that gambling is the only extreme sport known to this world? Kirari suggested that she wanted to make a little twist of what they called “adventure gambling” in the form of DND or dungeons and dragons.
It was quite popular that these table top games were so immersive and Kirari with her clever brain planning on a game that she devised of her own making something that can make one campaign full of tricks and adventure.
She called it the “Paradise of Desire” campaign.
Sayaka thought that being a nerd was only a definition for her only, but as she knew that Kirari had a thing for table top games she can't stop smiling that her girlfriend can be this creative besides gambling.
They invited Mary and Ririka, which the two couples agreed to have a little fun with in the DND campaign where they built their own class into the character sheets.
Sayaka is a human sorcerer with her powerful staff as a weapon and being the healer in the party. Ririka as a human fighter monk that is both silent and deadly, Mary the ever charismatic Paladin with her shiny armor and the banner of justice on her side. Kirari is the Dungeon Master and what could go wrong?.
Everyone gathered at the table and Kirari commenced the campaign.
"You are about to enter a mysterious magic shop called the Hyakkaou emporium. Magic items,potions, scrolls and other related quest materials are all present. A lady with a pointed hat and black silky robe welcomed you.”
“What will you do?"
DM Kirari said with a smirk on her face.
"We need to purchase some perception enhancing scrolls to locate some hidden magic items." Mary said with determination.
"Let's not waste our money, we must think of some other plans." Ririka replied explaining all the pros and cons of the outcome.
"What about flirting with her?" Sayaka suggested.
Mary and Ririka deadpanned looking at Sayaka.
“It may open some opportunities that are beneficial to us.” she added.
Kirari grinned and stared at Sayaka in which the violet haired woman blushed as she noticed.
"No, No, No let me handle this alright guys?" Mary answered with confidence.
"I have this loyalty card that will allow us to get 50% from all of your items." She added flexing it out to the lady.
"Oh my God, I love discounts! Way to go Mary!" Ririka said giddily as she embraced her lover's arm.
When the party thought that everything was running smoothly, Kirari smirked and pointed her finger at Mary.
"The lady with the black silky robe asked for your loyalty card but upon checking it, she announced that your card was already expired making the discount invalid".
"Sorry, Mary.” Kirari declared as she tried to hold her laughter.
“Why you!” Mary clenched her teeth as Ririka and Sayaka tried to hold her off as she was about to attack Kirari.
"That can't be! I would like to speak to the manager!" Mary demanded with a stern voice.
Sayaka was flabbergasted by Mary's “discounts” and “loyalty card” ideas. On which the blonde woman proudly presented on how good she was in the game of “haggling”.
Ririka was amused and supported Mary's tactics where she believed that they could get such items for low prices. They need to save gold and coins on this campaign, as it is not easy to slay monsters, take some quests and save the amount of resources they have.
“Alright, then roll for a persuasion check" Kirari replied.
Mary grabbed the D20 and threw the dice, Sayaka and Ririka held their hands out of fear and excitement and as the dice landed it turned out that they got the roll of 3.
Mary was speechless while Sayaka and Ririka gulped in fear as they got a bad roll of 3.
Kirari with a devilish smile said:
"You requested to see the manager but the lady with a black silky robe, closed her eyes and screamed “I AM THE MANAGER!'.
"Too bad Mary! You want to outsmart the system but look what it got you, it seems that lady luck is not smiling on you today."
Kirari laughed as she saw the defeated face of Mary as she sulked into the floor.
"Yeah, do your worst." Mary replied.
"This is just the beginning of our campaign! Come on, fun just getting started".
Kirari slammed her hands onto the table, smirking on them as she was so amused at the outcome of the game.
Ririka embraced and comforted her girlfriend while Sayaka, stealing glances at Kirari and the platinum haired woman winked at her and blew a kiss on which Sayaka ended up flustered and covered her face.
The room was in chaos and Kirari loved the drama that was happening. A knock on the door was heard and everyone was quiet and stared at the guest that arrived, a familiar black haired woman with ruby eyes.
“Care for one person to join the party?” She said with a smile on her face, looking at Kirari.
“I see, a serpent has arrived into my paradise. Are you going to start some havoc, Yumeko?” Kirari with her blue eyes staring at Yumeko's with excitement.
“Who knows? Let us see, cousin.”
Yumeko said as she sat at the table and held the D20 dice with a devouring aura surrounding her.
