Work Text:
"I love you, Azure."
That sentence turned empty very fast.
Ever since he was in this Forsaken world, changed into something or someone different, he isn't really.. Azure.
The memory of the sacrifice still haunts them, he never ought to say a word about it.
The silence was loud, but his ex partner's distant voice lingers, their looks don't make out much either.
Two Time, it's their name, his partner's name.
It tastes bitter when he tries to say it. The expression made before he closes his eyes, his partner smiles, rather than a fearful one.
His precious Nightshade, the one whom he loved, they're.. not there anymore.
He could feel the tears, the pleas, the cries, before death took him completely from that sacred ritual.
The life in a Forsaken feels weird.
He couldn't talk, maybe it's because of this entity that is refraining him from speaking with this zipper. His freedom of speech is basically gone.
He isn't that fond with others in here, he only tend his garden in silence while the thoughts have lingered.
There is also his hat, which he hates a lot. The hat spews insults and snarky remarks.
It knows what he's thinking, it knows almost everything about him.
Azure stays for a few months, he's trying to get better in communicating with others while the hat is still there.
He forms a bond within the killers. Everyone isn't so bad to be around with.
They didn't leave or betrayed them entirely. Everyone feels like home, family even.
Static is a familiar noise, and a feeling Azure hates.
It messes up his mind, playing flashes like a TV that went out.
He feels the urge to hurt something, or someone, or maybe himself.
The hat insisted that he should just do it, it wasn't like anyone's going to care.
A tentacle strikes and hit the potted plant, the sound of clattering was made.
He didn't care if he trashed his room, or he just can't control his anger.
Tears welled up as he continue to knock his belongings off the shelves or table.
He goes for his second round with the survivors. The map was Planet Voss.
He killed everybody easily, except this TV head skater girl and some gambler.
He spots a familiar figure, hiding near the blue spaceship. He doesn't run up to them immediately.
The others must be dead first.
Azure finds Two Time behind a wall.
The Ghostfire dagger in their hand.
The hat is asking him to finish them, so the round can end faster.
He was hesitant, the former cultist couldn't bare to see their ex partner.
Two Time, didn't resist at all, they're waiting for him to kill them.
Azure then stabs Two Time with their tentacles, blood seeps out of their chest.
Nightshades began to grow.
He gave their body one more embrace, before going off.
