The world will know you as pop stars, but you will be much more than that. You will be Hunters. Ghosts have always haunted our world, stealing our souls and channeling strength back to the great Calamity of all: White-No-Face. Until heroes arose to defend us. Descended from the Old Gods, these heroes were born with the power to cultivate battle and music. Singing songs of courage and hope while fighting back evil forces. But Hunters are more than warriors. Our music ignites the soul and brings people together. With this connection, the first Hunters created a shield to protect our world, the Guǐmén. Through their music they create enough energy to keep this barrier strong and prevent it from erupting. Through their martial arts, they ensure any ghosts powerful enough to slip past the barrier do not bring harm to humans. Every generation, a new trio of Hunters is chosen to fulfill our ultimate duty. A barrier so strong it is impenetrable, that will keep ghosts and White-No-Face from our world forever, the Golden Guǐmén.
