Chapter Text
i'm special, am i?
unlike the many distinct breeds
i alone have no uniqueness to name, me
just a hopeless, powerless creed.
others can fly
they charm, they move as fast as light
yet i?
i have nothing, to my plight.
they spin threads out of air,
they can vanish anywhere
but only i, merely i
am just a pair of limbs and eye
i can only walk, observe
from afar, to see, to admire
from insects to mammals
the marine life and the birds,
‘normalcy’ in a world of absurdity is still absurd.
