Diskord looked down at the child of the Eldritch and Minor God. He looked at the child with a near pensive look, his eyes bore into the child’s nebula-like ones. “Well I'll be, this thing- sorry, kid, can probably devour a solar system judging by the magic I'm sensing.” Diskord smirked, his grey eyes flickering with a hint of madness. “Hey kid,” Diskord picked the child up with a near reverent look in his eyes, the child gurgled in excitement.
“Wanna learn how to get away with murder-” He was smacked upside the head by one of his Phantom Wives, Penelope, she gave him a stern look that made him roll his eyes and set the child back down. “Fine, I won't teach the kids to be a badass, happy Penny?” Diskord said with a shrug, that caused Penelope to smile and give him an affectionate pat on the cheek. “You're a bad influence, you know that right, dear?” Penelope chuckled, which caused Diskord’s smirk to turn into an actual genuine smile. “Yeah, but I'm gonna be the best godfather-”
“Badassh!”
Penelope and Diskord both looked at the kid with wide eyes. “Okay, his first words were daddy.” Penelope lied rapidly, Diskord nodded rapidly, he may have joked with the Minor God, but he didn't think risking his soul was worth it… well, Diskord smirked, now wondering what would happen if he were to challenge
Wynn stands there near the corner. Dumbfounded. Maybe she should’ve listened to her father and get herself to fall asleep already.
…
Wynn was already long gone, hidden in her sleeping chambers like how her father commanded her to do so a while ago. The hellhound was tucked in place with her multiple stuffed animals shielding around her like a fortress.
Over at Cerberus’ study, the Minor God sat in front of Evren, the two Gods enjoying their human tea as they talked.
“— then, Yurnē, the absolute sweetheart she is, you know what she gave me? A ring of hers.” They continued their chatter, and to show evidence of that apartment ring, Evren reaches into its head, taking out a rock. “Look! Gorgeous, isn't it?” They ‘grin’ happily at the taller God, showing him the mineral.
Cerberus, as always, could only smile and nod. He listened intently to the Eldritch, enjoying the snippets from their original universe.
At one point, Evren had fallen into a comfortable silence, the two now staring at each other with pure and absolute adoration. The Eldritch then stands from their spot, walking over to Cerberus’ side as they morph into that human body the God had made for them, they sit next to him, curling themselves onto the larger body. Silently shifting himself, Cerberus gets both of them to snug position, their bodies cuddled perfectly together.
Evren had never felt more.. Human until they met the Underworld's servant. And honestly? They enjoy it. More than they originally had thought.
