Backstory:
Early Years
Yota was orphaned from the start of age 16 when he inherited a powerful type of magic that he could not control; he burned down villages and killed many by complete accident. Yota didn’t know what his slayer magic was, nor did he mean to create such chaos; He was wanted ever since. A few years later, he had eventually found a redacted person who was willing to train Yota how to specialize in using his power. Yota had an eventful journey with this redacted person, yet, it only turns out that they were training him up only to snatch away his powers to bring evil into the world; Yota killed him. He never trusted many after that, so he trained himself until he grew more experienced and older as time passed.
Middle ages
By the time he reached age 20, he was taken into the celestial realm so the celestial king could explain his purpose and how his powers could work. After the talk with the celestial king, Yota learned that he could combine his celestial magic with a different type of magic; Dark magic. So, over the next 3 years, he trained and trained his intellect and powers together; resulting in him finally becoming as strong as he could with the combination of light(Celestial) and dark magic - A Lost Magic at best.
Peace period
During his time as a 23 year old, he joined a group of interesting people(?) who wished to help around the villages by going on quests. These people were Romeo Schermerhorn, Marigold Goelet, and Otto Goelet. Overtime, 2 years, Yota began to open up to these people (even if Romeo is a literal cyclops), but that wouldn’t really last long.
Ending (of his time period)
One day, as Yota and his group of friends were on a quest, a tremor shook that of the earth’s surface, something had happened. As usual, the group investigated but they didn’t know what they were getting themselves into. A chaos-intrigued demon was released upon the land and was two times bigger than those below them. Yota and his friends all fought their best, resulting in the death of Otto Goelet when he tried to protect his sister, yet it seemed impossible to defeat this giant demon who was now introduced as Alecto de peyster. Yota wouldn’t believe that he was considering doing something so stupid, but if it was to protect the life of his friends, then he must; he casted Eclipse spiral - a magic ability he was working on. This resulted in the death of the demon, but not before casting a spell where Yota would be trapped in time for the next 1000 years. His two living friends were devastated, but had to move on. They lived their life close together before both passed on from old age; Yota had to watch.
New beginnings
As Yota coexisted within the time bubble, a thousand years would pass, he would soon be released by an unexpected person: Celeste Evergreen (His sister whom he sought dead but was actually transferred into that of a celestial time spirit). At first, Yota didn’t really know where he was, this place wasn’t the same as his home village, Riverdale...So, where was he? He asked around, people giving him many strange looks, before they actually gave him a certain answer: He was in a place called Alantide. He was confused, but continued forward as he continued to seek more answers about this place. Eventually, he was told that in order to confide in any magical activities, you’d have to join a guild where you can take quests and gain money based on your rank: Divignis Magica, Grimshade, The protectors, or The wandering Coins - Reformed criminals, Assassins and Mercenaries, Protection for the city, and thieves. Since Yota still mourns the people he had killed during the time of gaining his magic, he decided to pay a visit to Divignius Magica. Divignius Magica accepted him right away when Yota had described his crime, yet most seemed skeptical of him when joining…
Strange power(s)
Not many knew what magic Yota wielded, for as he’d never really shown it, but since the start of S-trials…He’s been really calm but awkwardly pessimistic about everything.

Everyone was surprised AND quite shocked to find out that Yota wielded dark magic. Many had thought that he could only wield light magic…Things just get crazier and crazier the more they discover about him…
Purposeful leave
Over the next year or so, as the guild expanded their island (3 years before the alternate Ritchie and dragons attacked), Yota had left long after becoming S-rank for a purpose ; to train his magic more and to also discover the lands far and wide. Ritchie, co-leader of Divignius Magica, allowed Yota to leave and wished him well upon his self-discovery. During his leave, Yota explored the lands and helped many others along the way, some accompanying him to nearby villages before leaving. This leave was soothing for the slayer, helping him gain his own self consciousness and learning to keep his emotions at bay.
Return
Over the past 3 years, Yota had learned much from his journey; Compassion, Jokes, and even love. So, when Yota finally returned back to the guild after being gone for so long…he was surprised at just how much has changed; The guild island is different, they have new members, and surprisingly there are now newly-appointed S ranks.
