Governmental overview.
Type: theocratic monarchy.

History overview.
The Primodria Archipelago formed around 69 million years ago at the tail end of the Cretaceous period. It was originally part of the larger continent of gondwana for most of its history before breaking off the supercontinent and drifting off into what would become the Pacific Ocean. It much like the rest of the world suffered heavily when the KPG extinction event occurred with it being speculated that the entirety of the island's original faunal inhabitants were completely wiped out leaving the island nearly totally uninhabited. In an event still shrouded in mystery and speculation, 64 million years ago, the island suddenly experienced what could only be described as a near biblical boom of life, almost all of which is truly bizarrely mesozoic fauna, Including non-avian dinosaurs. With many of them having been extinct for millions of years before the KPG extinction event. Though this only lasted for a brief period before they bizarrely disappeared from the fossil record only a few million years later. Around 1300 years ago the ancestors of what would eventually known as the paleokin would first appear on the islands. Their exact origins are still unknown, with no real answer having been found within both archaeology and paleontological research. With the only real answer provided by the paleokin themselves being that they were “gifted” by Juratiuscreataceus with the gift of intelligence and the ability to shift from a human form to a beast form. The paleokin would remain isolated on their island home for thousands of years until eventually being discovered by Dutch navigators in the 17th century. And after several wars against European empires such as the British the island would remain independent from European colonization. They’d continue this up until the outbreak of WW2 where they reluctantly allied themselves with the Japanese and by extension the axis powers. The archipelago would become infamous among soldiers in the pacific theater as a deathtrap, both from the paleokin and japanese soldiers they were fighting against, and from the wide variety of natural dangers of the islands (such as wildlife, diseases, and other hazards). Though they would surrender along with Japan at the war's end. Afterwards they returned to their isolationist ways for several decades afterwards. Eventually though during the 2030’s they would ally themselves with both saga and Aetherstromnis forming the THU.
Islands overview.
The archipelago has a generally uniform climate with it mainly made up of tropical rainforests and wetlands, with the larger islands having a wider variety of climates. From savannahs, temperate forests, and frozen mountains. Its wildlife is made up of the descendants of both fauna from the Mesozoic and a few from more recent arrivals. From both terrestrial and volant (capable of flight) pterosaurs, multituberculates and basal egg laying mammals making up the majority of mammals species of the archipelago with, pack hunting crocodylomorphs, river dwelling mosasaurs, and a variety of others also existing.
Paleokin overview. the paleokin are the primorida archipelagos native inhabitants and make up around 70% of the nation's population. their called paleokin as they all have various features reminiscent of non-avian dinosaurs and are even able to (in a process still poorly understood by science) to shift into a beast from of whatever non-avain dinosaur they share features with. the paleokin as a culture are highly spiritualist, having a variety of oral traditions and practices tied to nature and worship of their main goddess Juratiuscreataceus.
