Time travel reborn Adam Restart.

Summary:

After Adam died, Adam woke up straight away after Eve ate the apple, and hell was created – this was before Abel, Cain or any of their kids, and all the sin and evil that came with them.
Adam took care of Eve, since she was his old wife after all. But what Lucifer told him made him think too. After all, she ate the Apple of Lucifer and Lilith, and Lilith left him for Lucifer.
And does it really matter? He hadn't seen her after her death.
He was with Lute for thousands of years in Heaven, all he has to do is wait and meet Lute again after his Death.

Chapter Text

Adam fell to his knees, his golden form flickering. The pain in his chest burned where Niffty's angelic knife had sliced through his back. He barely registered her giggle before his vision blurred.

His body had fallen to the ground and he could hear Lute screaming for him. He smiled at the only women who he loved and then had not left or abandoned him, his Lute, his Danger-tits.

"Well, at least I had Lute and get to spend time with her, live wasn't that bad." was the last thing he thought. As he closed his eyes.

Adam was confused when air suddenly filled his lungs again. He gasped as he lay on the cool grass outside the gates of Eden. The golden barrier shimmered, unchanged, unyielding.

He was back. Again. And He knew this place.

The Gates of Eden.

The golden barrier shimmered before him, unchanged, unyielding. He had seen it before, from the other side, as he and Eve had been cast out.

Yet here he was again,  at the very moment everything began to fall apart. "I can... Change it." Adam was thinking as he looked around, it was before Abel or Cain were born. So before he had children with Eve who became Sinners and full of Sin.

His head snapped toward the garden, and he saw her.

His Ex-Wife, Eve stood just beyond the gates, an expression  of  fear as she looked at their old home. She was the reason why both were kicked out. In her hand trembling as she wiped the remnants of fruit from her lips.

The forbidden apple—Lucifer and Lilith's gift, the act that had created Hell itself—had just been consumed by her, and the start of letting Evil in.

Adam inhaled sharply, his mind struggling to process what had happened.

First, he died, as the Sinner had killed him. He had expected nothing after that.

But,  Instead, he had been thrown back to the beginning, back before Cain and Abel, before sin spread across the world. Before it all truly began.

Eve turned, her eyes widening when she saw him. "Adam?"

He didn’t answer right away. His heart was still racing from the pain of death, his mind still trying to piece together why he was here. But one thing was certain—Eve was his wife. Or at least, she had been, after his death she left and he didn't care much to be honest.

She had eaten the apple, something Lucifer and Lilith gave her even after he did war about them. She had created Hell with that act.

Adam stepped forward, his gaze locked onto her. "Eve."

The reality of what had happened hit him like a stone. Lucifer’s words echoed in his mind. Eve had taken the fruit of Lucifer and Lilith, after he warned her about both and Lilith, his first wife, had left him for Lucifer after all.

"Lucifer: Well, your first wife didn't seem to hate what I had to offer... or the second, bow-chicka-pow-pow!"

It all made sense now, more than it ever had before. But did it really matter at all? He didn't love her the way of a wife her husband anymore, and cared for her the normal way. So even if Lucifer did it to piss him of. He didn't really care.

He studied Eve for a moment.

She looked so different from the last time he had seen her, younger and not so old.

Before their exile, before everything had gone wrong. He had loved her once, but that time felt so distant now.

He had spent thousands of years with Lute in Heaven, and build a paradise of his own with her.

Eve had been and was nothing more than a memory in Heaven, a remnant of a past life he had already moved beyond.

But she was still here. And she had no idea yet, what she had just done.

Eve looked up at the Heaven, her breath catching. "Adam… what’s happening now?"

He didn’t answer at first. He turned his gaze toward the golden gates of Eden, still barred to them. They were truly alone now.

He exhaled through his nose, his decision forming in an instant. "We were cast out," he said simply. "And now, Evil exists."

She looked at him, confusion and fear in her eyes. "Evil?"

"Because you ate the apple," he continued, his voice devoid of anger but firm in its truth. "That’s what Lucifer wanted. And now, it’s done."

Her hands trembled. "But… but he said—"

"It doesn’t matter what he said," Adam interrupted. "What’s done is done." He rather not hear again the Free Will talk or how Lucifer gave Humanity Free will.

HOW DID LILITH LEFT OR EVE EAT THE APPLE, IF THEY NEVER HAD FREE WILL! THEY COULND'T EAT IT! AS THAT WAS GOING AGAINST WHAT HEAVEN WANTED!

She swallowed hard, looking around at the world they had once had known. It felt different now, being outside their home,  Adam remembered to visit after he became a Angel, Maybe this time.

He would move there with Lute, as she had asked him to do, before their battle with the Princess of Hell. But this time, he was seeing it unfold in real-time.

Adam sighed and turned away from her. He would take care of her, as he had before. She was his old wife, after all. But his path was clear. He knew what mankind would become. He had seen their wars, their sins, their cruelty. And he wanted no part in it.

He would not have children with Eve. Not this time.

"Come on," he said, walking forward. "We need to find shelter before night falls and it becomes Cold."

Eve hesitated before following him. "Adam… what are we going to do?"

He didn’t answer right away. His mind was already elsewhere, focused on the future. He would live. He would survive. And then he would die. And then, finally, he would see Lute again in Heaven. As long he stayed Good and didn't do Evil.

It was a simple plan.

As the two walked away from Eden and the Angels that were taken it with them away from Earth. The angels in Heaven watched both.

Sera stood in silence, observing the failure of humanity’s first chapter. But she was not disappointed. No, this was only a beginning.

If this world failed, they would simply create another.
