Time For Us

Summary:

Nick and Charlie are making the most of the quiet on Christmas morning and almost get caught

Notes:

For my dear Phlims - for you, a sneaky look at aged-up parental Nick and Charlie and the way they continue to prioritise their relationship even after they have kids.

Work Text:

Nick hears the approaching “Daddy, Papa, Daddy, Papa!” at precisely the wrong time, even though they’d anticipated it.

“Don’t come in, kids!” Nick calls out, hearing the ahh’s of disappointment recede, while kissing Charlie to keep them both quiet.

To Charlie he says, “you ready, love? The invaders are on their way and I am not starting Christmas morning on the edge.”

“Always, darling,” Charlie gasps, “you have me so close already, just keep going!”

Nick pushes deeper and harder and they’re kissing to drown the noises they want to make.

“Merry Christmas, husband!”

“Race you to the shower, babe!”
