The Demigod Dual

Summary:

Percy Jackson was summoned into the world of Record of Ragnarok. With Gods' names and powers, he is familiar with but with different personalities and goals. Being forced into a Battle he had never expected or dreamed of, facing someone that he faced years before, only, in a different form and different rules to win. Can he still win like before with him being stronger but unfamiliar with the being?

Notes:

I got inspired by stories of Percy Jackson and Record of Ragnarok but I'm not that into him being a female or being shipped with his dad (even if it is another world) and want to see him in the main battle soo...
I do like the stories and still try to keep up with them, so don't come at me, please.
Oh, and none of the contestants died because then, I don't know where this story would fit since well... people and gods did die.
Not going to lie, I did forget most of how the story went, just the plot and the people who battled and who won.

Chapter 1: The Arrival

Summary:

Percy Jackson, stuck in the work of Record of Ragnarok? How would the story go? Would he be able to win the fight against a familiar god that he had won before? What is with this dimension's gods? Read to find out.

Notes:

I was tired of Fem Percy and shipping her with her father (even if it was a different dimension so I created this, don't know how this would go and I just remember the plot of Record of Ragnarok, not the exact story, and the fact that there is no timeline therefore no character deaths in this because then, I wouldn't know how to add characters that are suppose to be dead.
And I do like Fem Percy but I felt that there was not enough just Percy.
I'll add more tags as more chapters follow (if I have an idea to continue, if not, I'll just put out a chapter of what would happen if I continued)

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Percy was in his room, doing homework for high school. He was frustrated with the essay topic, and although he did choose something he liked as Annabeth suggested, it was hard to form sentences or come up with professional words people usually use for essays. Percy sighed, this is the last year, next year he will be going to college with Annabeth, and then... there would be nothing else that would stop his normal peaceful life. He stood up, stretching his legs.
Suddenly, his eyes began to blur. As he rubbed his eyes, he heard a strong voice call out, "Let us welcome the next human champion... The other dimension hero, son of Poseidon, Slayer of Medusa and the Minotaur, Holder of the Sky, Saviour of Olympus, the Destroyer, Percy Jackson!". With a flash of light, he appeared in a big arena that he was unfamiliar with. The air crackled with tension, usually, Percy had no problem standing before gods, humans, and monsters, but now he felt an unfamiliar unease. A low, thrumming resonance vibrated deep within his bones, a vast power that seemed to rewrite the reality around him. Gone were the familiar sights of his room, replaced by colossal bleachers filled with a cacophony of beings he barely recognized - some with multiple eyes, others with shimmering wings or scales, some that just looked like regular humans.
As he got his senses back, he heard murmurs and whispers with awe and doubt "Son of Poseidon? Didn't Poseidon hate humans because they can never be perfect?" "He is from another world, so maybe that world Poseidon doesn't hate humans?" "What a shame."
Percy felt a piercing glare, he looked up to see a man with golden blond hair with piercing blue eyes, he seemed angered by Percy's whole existence.
“I am Brunhild,” she announced, her voice echoing with an unyielding strength. She had long, silver hair braided tightly and eyes that held profound sorrow, tiredness, and determined fire. “Welcome, human champion. You are one of thirteen chosen to fight for the fate of humanity.”

Percy frowned. “Human champion? Wait, what? The fate of humanity? Who are all these… people? Who are you? Why am I here?” He gestured to the strange spectators, a wave of confusion washing over him. He'd dealt with a lot of stuff before but this was on a whole new level of bizarre.

Brunhild sighed, a sound that seemed to carry the weight of the world. “They are the Gods, Percy Jackson. And they have decided to wipe humanity from existence. I am Brunhild a Valkyrie, fighting for humanity and you are to join me to fight together ”

His jaw dropped. Wipe out humanity? That was… that was something even the most arrogant Titan hadn’t dared to contemplate. "Why? What happened?"

“For centuries, humanity has grown in its arrogance and defiled the Earth," a voice boomed, and Percy instinctively turned towards it, his hand going for Riptide, which thankfully, he’d found clutched in his other hand. The source of the voice was a fragile-looking old man. But Percy still felt goosebumps across his arms. This person (god?) is dangerous... He felt... familiar... Zeus? No, this wasn't his Zeus. This one was colder, felt more insane, more distant, more… otherworldly.

Zeus seemed... gleeful as he called out "Brother look! It's your son, why didn't you tell us you had a son?" The god with the blond hair and blue eyes, still glaring at Percy didn't say a single thing but now, Percy put together who this god was, Poseidon, not his father Poseidon, but a different world Poseidon. Zeus didn't seem to mind his quiet state and continued to ramble about there being hope for Poseidon to find someone. As he continued, Poseidon finally stopped him, "I would never create such filth and imperfect being. The mix of human and god? absolute absurd." He said coldly, looking disgusted at the indication.

Percy... Percy didn't know how to feel. This is a different version of his father but seems to be more scummy than Ares to his children. Understandably Percy isn't exactly *his* son but a version of him had a son with a mortal. Someone with silver hair and calculating grayish-purple eyes finally said "Enough, I think that we had argued long enough". Brunhild finally continued "We are tired of their transgressions. The Valkyries, in their desperation, have initiated Ragnarok: the battle between 13 champions of humanity and 13 Gods. Your world, Percy, is part of the human record,” Brunhild explained, her gaze piercing, urging him to understand. “You are their hope, their blade against oblivion. You would have a week of training before fighting Ares, The God of War" She turned her gaze towards someone on the other side of the arena, Percy followed her gaze to see a god without a shirt (Like come on dude! -Percy). And finally, the stage (he was standing on a moving platform?) began to lower and Brunhild guided him into a different room

Notes:

Yes I do know that usually when they are in the arena, they are supposed to be fighting already, but I just wanted a dramatic entrance in the first chapter okay? I might not even continue this story because I have the idea but it is hard to execute it. But I'll try..
