Work Text:
Katsuki is about to doze off, already fixing himself under the covers and plugging in his phone when he hears a loud yawn down the hallway. He smiles as he's met with the adorable view of Eijiro half asleep and in his open doorway. His hair messy and plastered to his face, in a big shirt and some shorts. He wants to kiss him all over.
“Hey.” He yawned himself.
Eijiro yawned again, “Am I bothering you?” He asked while dipping his hand underneath his shirt to scratch at his stomach.
“Always,” he teased. “Can't sleep?”
Eijiro shook his head, “Mmm, I fell asleep at Denki's.”
He snorted, “I told you not to play video games so late.”
“Hey, it was a boss fight. And watching Denks is fun.”
“Watching him lose, yeah.”
Eijiro broke out into a small smile, “You’re so mean.”
He rolled his eyes, “You're just thinking the same.”
“It's late, why are you up still?”
“Just took a shower.”
Eijiro mumbled out an “Oh,” as Katsuki made space next to him.
“Wanna spend the night?”
“Mmm hmm.” Eijiro yawned again.
“You're so damn sleepy.” He chuckled, patting the space next to him.
Before Eijiro came over, he closed the door, flicking off the light.
His room was immediately washed in warm light, his lamp shining through.
Katsuki moved the blanket from on top of him, opening it up and inviting Eijiro in. He smiled as Eijiro crawled on top of him, wrapping his arms around his back and resting his chin on his chest.
Eijiro grinned right back, blinking up at him slowly.
“Hey.” He said.
“Hey,” Katsuki whispered, taking in the sight of him. He always looked so pretty in his lamplight, the golden glow bringing out the browner hues in his eyes, like honey in chocolate. Red velvet love.
“Were you waiting up for me?”
Katsuki blushed. He was. He couldn't fall asleep without Eijiro’s warmth lately.
“No,” he lied, “I just took a shower.”
Eijiro let out a laugh through his nose, “You smell good.”
“Shut up.” He sputtered.
His gaze then dropped to his lips, making Katsuki's tongue peek out to lick them.
“Can I?” Eijiro asked, a blush blooming on his face, petaled pink.
Katsuki nodded, his heart fluttering.
Eijiro pressed their lips together, the kiss a little sticky, sweet. He relished in the sound of their lips coming together and apart. The way Eijiro hummed against his lips. He kissed him softly, gently, unhurriedly. Like they had all the time in the world to just lay here and kiss each other sweetly.
Eijiro kissed him firmly, kissing him again and again. Their lips slotting together lazily, going slow, then fast. Lingering, then quickly.
He pulled away and Katsuki groaned, “Don’t stop.”
Eijiro’s face scrunched up into a smile before he yawned right in his face, making Katsuki snort. He immediately went back to kissing him, his heart doing jumping jacks in his chest. God, he could kiss Eijiro for hours.
“I like kissing you,” Eijiro said against his lips.
Katsuki smirked, “I thinking technically,” he said between pecks, “This is making out.”
Eijiro laughed quietly, “Is it now? We've never done that before.”
“You like it?”
Eijiro kissed him again, “I like you.”
“I like you, too.”
They continued to kiss lazily, Eijiro’s arms coming from his back to rest on each side of his head. He pulls Eijiro closer, wrapping his arms around his neck.
Eijiro pauses to take a breath, and there's that adorable yawn again, fanning over his face.
“Your breath fucking stinks.” He teases.
“Stop kissing me then.” Eijiro teases right back.
Katsuki laughs, kissing Eijiro on his lips, his nose.
“Can I stay over?”
“I already said yes.”
Eijiro’s forehead crinkled up in the cutest way and he had to kiss it.
“Man, I am tired.”
“Go to sleep, dummy.”
Eijiro smiled, shifting on the bed so Katsuki’s head could rest on the cushion of his arm.
“How was your work study?” Eijiro asked as he got comfortable in his embrace, kissing the top of his head.
He shrugged, “Boring.”
“Aw, I'm sorry.”
“Endeavor just sucks ass, he only puts IcyHot in for shit.”
Eijiro hummed in sympathy, “I missed you.”
Katsuki turned so that their noses were pressed against each other’s and he didn't care that he was a sappy idiot as he rubbed them together.
He closed his eyes, basking in the closeness of his best friend, his newly found requited crush. He doesn't know how much he was allowed to show, to have, but he'd take anything Eijiro would give him and give back more.
It was just a couple days ago, when Eijiro had simply kissed his cheek and said, “I like you, Katsuki.”
Their friendship had always been as easy as breathing, so it made sense for their relationship to flow so naturally.
“Tomorrows a weekend, wanna go do something? Eat or go out?”
Eijiro smiled, so pretty, “Both?”
“Sure.” He grinned back.
“A date?”
“Yeah, ‘course it is.”
Eijiro gave out the brightest beam, “Our first.”
Katsuki rolled over so he was resting his chin on Eijiro’s chest, his arms wrapping around his back.
He was met with Eijiro’s pretty eyes, gazing at him so softly and lovely.
He scoots up to give him a kiss, Eijiro humming into it. Katsuki kisses him once, twice, again and again so he could keep feeling that electricity in his heart. He'd never get used to how happy kissing Eijiro made him feel. He doesn't even care how lovey dovey that makes him. He loves kissing Eijiro. He loves knowing that their feelings are shared.
“You're so nice and warm.” Eijiro says, running his arms up and down his back. “You smell like vanilla.”
“You're sleepy.” He snorts, settling into the crook of Eijiro’s neck.
“Goodnight, my Tsuki.” Eijiro whispers.
Katsuki lets a laugh out of his nose, “Go to sleep, Ei.”
Katsuki slows his breathing in time with the feeling of Eijiro’s hands ceasing their movements.
