erm so...
I would like advice on how to incorporate OCs into a fic without dumping so much lore on them that nobody wants to read it.
cuz, uh - primarily for my I See All AU, there are two OCs that (I haven't worked out all the details yet so pls bear with me) have a significant role in the AU. They aren't main characters, per se, but they are recurring ones.
and i know that when you're in a fandom, most ppl don't like reading about your OCs or their lore, or spend too much time with them (and, I mean, I get that. OCs are interesting but you're primarily in the fandom for the fandom's characters)
but my OCs can't really have a minor role, so I can't just push them out...
(this seems really rambly and long and a stupid question, but I really want to know)
and a lot of authors in this fandom are rly rly great at incorporating their OCs into their fics.
