Work Text:
It had all started with a box, and if Lan Huan had known what was inside, he might have left it at the front of his apartment and slammed the door closed.
He did not.
The box bore the Nie Clan seal so he’d picked it up and it stood innocuously at his empty dinner table for hours until he remembered leaving it and finally opened his little package.
Huan - Ge,
I need someone to test this little object for me, and since you are the most perpetually single of all acquaintances I have, and the least likely to return it, I request you use it and let me know, not in detail, how it works.
Lan Huan was not in the habit of questioning his post but the elegant scribble of Nie Huaisang’s writing made him raise his eyebrow in wonder, he left the note aside and rummaged through the packing paper only to be met with… another box.
Inside Lan Huan found an object he was not familiar with and as he returned his attention to the letter, he felt a little bit silly.
It is a Fleshlight. Google it. Please, you must help me out with this one. You are my only hope.
Nie Huaisang
Ah, so he was that obvious, and once he did Google the object he realized with surmounting dread, why exactly Nie Huaisang had seen right through him.
It was a sex paraphernalia. His dread only continued to grow as the instructions piled in his brain, his jaw slack in embarrassment.
Lan Huan did not consider himself a prude, but never in his thirty years on this Earth had he felt the need to resort to the help of sex toys made of plastic or silicone.
He picked up the toy, carefully as if it might explode, turning it around to inspect all of it. It did not look any different than the pictures he had seen, but the design was still somehow all Nie Huaisang, for it looked much more expensive than the slew of images firmly imprinted in his brain as of ten minutes ago.
The silicone part lacked the crazy coloring of some of the braver designs and the handle had a symbol emblazoned on its side, the likes of which Lan Huan had not seen, but, well he was not particularly well versed in this industry so he did not question it. Lan Huan was still too preoccupied with the notion that Nie Huaisang had simply played him like a musical instrument.
If he was indeed in need of assistance, however, Lan Huan could not simply refuse so he did not send the object back, even if he felt like it was simply wasted on him.
It stayed hidden in his bedside drawer, and soon enough Lan Huan put it at the back of his mind, for he had a Sect to run and recently a serial killer had been running loose on his territory.
“It is a cultivator alright,” Jiang Cheng said with a sneer, looking at the bloody array around the body. “So you lot might as well scram,” he declared, pinning his stare at the detective inspector in the long gray coat, wearing just as sour an expression as his.
“Sect Leader Jiang would be wise in remembering having the police force at his disposal will be beneficial for both of our groups.” the detective reminded his voice – dripping with animosity.
“Oh,” Jiang Cheng exclaimed – his eyes mock widening as he turned to the policemen scattered around and then back to their chief. “Is it an election year already? Are you playing nice for the big heads upstairs?”
Lan Huan hurried to intervene before he had to file a long report about violence between the forces.
“Detective Wang,” he said with his usual mild voice, ignoring how Jiang Cheng harrumped in annoyance. “Allow us to inspect the scene by ourselves,” and before the other man could bristle even more, he added.
“It might be an active array,” he pointed at the bloodied symbols. “It would be in the best interest of your people to stay away until we can defuse it, Sect Leader Jiang was just trying to keep an eye out for you.”
Jiang Cheng snorted, “I don’t look forward to the extra paperwork if those idiots get blown up by mistake.”
The police force did indeed scram afterward, and Lan Huan might even admit to being grateful for it. He had always preferred working with his own people rather than the police.
Well, Jiang Cheng might be the sole exception. The younger Sect Leader seemed to heavily dislike Lan Huan, his usual scowl darkening anytime they met like a grand thunderstorm was raging on his face. It never receded no matter how amiable Lan Huan might act, so in the end he had to come to terms with the fact that his sole presence was unnerving Jiang Cheng, something he felt extremely bad about.
“This shitstain dabbles in the arts,” Jiang Cheng swore, kneeling next to the corpse of the poor man, unlucky enough to have veered off a dark alleyway late at night. He had not been the first and they had all come to the conclusion the victims were all random and not connected in any way to the killer.
Lan Huan kneeled next to him and the dread reared its head, settling in his stomach. “A demonic cultivator,”
“You know you can benefit from swearing once in a while,” Jiang Cheng remarked as he casually lifted one of the pale hands of their victim, his gloved hands surprisingly gentle for someone as crude as the younger man.
Lan Huan smiled, the unpleasant seriousness of the situation receding at the back of his mind as fondness for the other man took over, drenching him in warmth from head to toe.
Since Gusu Lan and Yunmeng Jiang territories shared a border in the city, it was not a rare sight for Lan Huan to work with their cultivators, and throughout the years, despite Jiang Cheng firmly disliking him, he had grown fond of the prickly Leader who bared the most gruesome and dangerous cases on his shoulders lest he lost his men to them.
Behind the facade, Lan Huan had noticed a very caring person, loyal to a fault and he’d taken quite a liking to the sour lonely man.
“The marks keep going that way,” Jiang Cheng said, breaking Lan Huan out of his reverie. The younger Leader darted down the dark alleyway somehow seeing the bloodied signs on the ground in the pitch black. Lan Huan sighed and took out his phone to light the way.
Jiang Cheng was like a hound with prey. He kept dropping to the ground and prowling next to the trash containers. Soon though, they reached the dead end of the street and he swore up a storm – polite enough to do it quietly even though Lan Huan heard it all and raised his brow in surprise. That was one hell of a curse.
“That bastard has trapped the entire street in symbols, in case his victim escaped.”
As Lan Huan neared to catch a glimpse of the last symbol, Jiang Cheng suddenly turned around with a startling speed, “You did well in sending those cops away, I cannot imagine having to rescue half of them from activating these sticky symbols.”
He kept going on and on, rambling about the inefficiency of the police force, but Lan Huan could barely make sense of what he was saying.
The sight in front of him took his breath away.
He did not think it could happen but as Jiang Cheng had turned to face him, down as he was kneeling on the ground, pale face illuminated by the weak light of the phone, his bangs in disarray, and his gray eyes large and alive on a sharp face, Lan Huan had had a thought.
The incomprehensible desire for Jiang Cheng to be in this position because of him – he imagined himself pushing the shorter man down on the dirty pavement until his knees hit it with a startled gasp. How he tangled his fingers in that soft hair, always fastidiously bound when at work. How he ran his fingers through it until he felt the little ponytail and how he pulled on it until that long sinuous throat was bared for his teeth.
And then he’d force that lovely head closer still until those lips heaved hot breaths on his raging–
“ – Are you ok?”
Lan Huan came crashing down staring at the already standing Sect Leader as concern was clearly shining in his eyes. Those eyes that had enchanted him enough to think–
“Yes,” he breathed quickly, hoping to have a chance to turn around and calm his body down.
He switched off the phone light just in case the other could see his…disposition.
“Does it unnerve you so?” Jiang Cheng asked, not unkindly. “If you want I can handle the rest?”
Lan Huan waved his hand listlessly, still trying to will his body to calm down. He knew Jiang Cheng was attractive, he had eyes and the tight jeans and leather jacket he sported today, probably had enticed one poor soul too many. But he had always assumed his respect for the other kept him safe from the allure. Furthermore, they were at work and a stab of guilt made its way into his scrambled thoughts – a man had died, and here was Lan Huan getting unbelievably horny for his colleague.
But he was a Lan, so quite used to doing it – Lan Huan suppressed his emotions, downright stuffed them in a box deep in his mind.
His work demanded he be at his full capacity.
So Lan Huan turned back to Jiang Cheng and refused his offer, quite in control of his emotions once again.
Only, it didn’t stop. Once, the thought had entered his mind he could not get it out. And so every time he met with Jiang Cheng – he slipped.
It was one accident after another and pretty soon thoughts of Jiang Cheng naked and writhing on Lan Huan’s bed were haunting him throughout his days, never leaving him to rest – phantoms in the night to chase away his sleep.
It got so bad, that Lan Huan was reminded of the toy in his drawers.
It was past midnight and he was craving. So he reached for the fleshlight. It was silly, he felt quite so, but it would not hurt to try and if it helped quieten his thoughts he might get more than a few hours of sleep at a time.
Experimentally, he prodded the tight little hole in the middle with his finger and almost dropped it in surprise. Sucking in a startled gasp, Lan Huan stared at the toy. How had it felt so hot inside of it?
Curiously he picked it up again, this time lubing his fingers beforehand. He got two inside the toy, thinking it might be for the best to stretch the thing a bit before he used it, still fascinated by the warmth of it.
If he closed his eyes, he could imagine Jiang Cheng bent in half, his chest pinned on the desk by Lan Huan’s hand as he used his other one to tame. Lan Huan would bunch that ridiculously tight shirt up and glide his fingers down the naked back. Gently, barely a touch as he’d watch the goosebumps pop on that pristine skin. He’d kiss that hollow at Jiang Cheng’s back as his hands would circle that sinful waist almost touching in the middle. Jiang Cheng would not struggle anymore, he’d wait, arching with impatience.
And Lan Huan might be a simple man, but he is not cruel so he’d indulge his lover, slicking two fingers and circling that rim as Jiang Cheng trembled with need.
The passage was soft and silky and it gripped his fingers, sucking them in almost painfully. Lan Huan groaned, quickly forgetting about safety and improbability, and slid the toy down his erection in one swift go.
It was nothing like he expected and it punched the air out of his lungs, he wheezed, stunned by the tightness and the velvety feel of the toy. Yet, even in shock, his body took over and his hips began to thrust into the fleshlight. Soon, he was overcome by his animalistic need, and since there was no lover to soothe and no one to hold, he let himself go, rutting like a beast all in the hopes that the image of Jiang Cheng arching underneath him would disappear.
He came surprisingly fast, hard enough to gasp for air like he’d fought with a beast, black dots dancing in front of his eyes.
Well, that had been something.
Lan Huan had never thought a toy could bring him to one of the best orgasms he had experienced in a long time, but now that he knew of it, he could not get enough.
The first time it happened, Jiang Cheng had keeled over on the empty street, absolutely convinced someone was attacking him. A horrible curse was being cast on him, someone had breached his defenses. It felt like that until the moment his brain connected the unfamiliar feeling to something it knew, and his eyes widened in shock. A gasp almost made its way out of his mouth, his hands finding the ground in an effort to remain composed. It felt like…
He cursed but instead, a moan made its way out of his mouth as that…force kept thrusting unrelenting in his hole. He could not get out, could not think – it was so overwhelming, the invisible cock ramming in him with full force hitting his prostate just enough times to leave him wanting it again and again. His legs were trying to angle his body on pure instinct as if he had a sloppy lover too eager to really listen to his pleas and he was trying to guide him.
He knew he was drooling but he could not help himself, his whole body at the mercy of that force, twitching helplessly at the uncertainty, waiting for the storm to abate, for the magical energy to dissipate. It was too much, and nearly not enough to get him off, there on the dirty street in the middle of the night, helpless as he was, down on all fours. Jiang Cheng would be humiliated if he could focus on anything else but the force playing with him, taunting him, edging him into desperation. What he did not expect was the uncoordinated slower thrusts, one then another, and then the warmth that spread inside him as if someone…
He hiccuped in surprise, his hips still chasing his release.
No no no no.
Just as it came the force was gone.
Leaving Jiang Cheng aroused and reeling, sweating in his jacket as pre-come was leaking down his stiff cock into his underwear and jeans.
The second time he was in a restaurant dining with other sect leaders. He had moments to realize what the light sensation was, and a minute whilst the intrusion was still light to walk to the bathroom and hide in a stall before the curse was back in full force. He was reeling.
It had happened again.
Jiang Cheng had assumed he had triggered a lecherous phantom memory, a stain on the alleyway, and just had to wait it out. The fact that it had left him aroused was a side effect he had refused to acknowledge, even if he had finished the job himself on his bed, frustrated beyond belief that this had been the best sex he had had in a while. If he was also ashamed of falling in the middle of the street and rutting like an animal, well the shame made his strokes all the sweeter.
Now, as he sat on the toilet, panic was starting to grip him. Jiang Cheng swore, untying his tie and hastily removing his blazer. He was already hard, the stimulation just bordering on teasing and he felt the heat spreading throughout his strung-up body. Before he had the chance to unzip his pants though, the pressure intensified and, startled, he let a moan slip in as that invisible cock thrust so deep inside of him it completely took him by surprise.
Jiang Cheng clamped his mouth in horror, trying to hear over his own labored breath if anyone else was in there. It was getting progressively hard to keep still, all he wanted to do was whine and shake and let his nails rake down a lover’s body. Instead, once he was assured no one else was in the bathroom, he finished taking his pants off and as he sat once again on the toilet tried to ride the waves of pleasure.
It was not working, his futile thrusts in the air driving him mad with lust. The force was merciless and somehow was unerringly hitting his prostate but just enough to keep him guessing. His feet were slipping as he was holding on for dear life.
Jiang Cheng closed his eyes, the air barely leaving through his clenched teeth. He could ride this off, maybe it would just end if he could finish. Maybe all he had to do was imagine.
Imagine the Sect Leader of the Lan Clan. The famed Zewu-Jun crowding him in the stall and plowing into him like a beast, forgetting all about that famous Lan restraint. Jiang Cheng had been quietly in love with the other man for years now, and it didn’t hurt that Lan Huan was gorgeous – all long legs and wide shoulders. He knew with certainty Lan Huan would be quiet and gentle, but he wondered if he could snap that control if he got down on all four and raised his ass in the air. Would Lan Huan grab his hips and leave imprints on his skin?
It was getting too much. The pleasure building up, almost spilling over the edge but not enough to get him off on his own, his cock was leaking pathetically, slapping against his belly as Jiang Cheng’s hips were desperately thrusting in the empty air, looking for friction, his hand still over his mouth.
The desire to stroke himself was maddening and just as Jiang Cheng’s pride lost the silent battle waging in him, and he took his hand off to relieve the intense pressure, someone entered the bathrooms.
Immediately, Jiang Cheng’s hand made its way back, silencing his punched-out moans. He was now praying. Praying no one could hear his labored breath and little whines that spilled over despite his efforts.
Entirely at the mercy of the force thrusting inside of him, Jiang Cheng writhed caught between the effort to keep still and the need to melt into the pleasure he was feeling. The cock inside him was reaching in so deep he wanted to moan out loud, grab a lover and flip them around so he can ride on top, controlling the pressure himself. But somehow, the unpredictable thrusts, and the lack of control excited him much more than he expected.
The stranger had by now finished his job and was washing his hands at the sink, Jiang Cheng, however hardly noticed, too preoccupied with the invisible cock ramming into his prostate as he clenched the toilet seat in his grip, trying to prop himself on shaking fingers.
Instead of leaving Jiang Cheng to writhe in pleasure all by himself, the man did not go away. He had slowly inched closer to the stall Jiang Cheng was hiding in. Jiang Cheng had a second to panic before,
“Are you okay?”
And the fear of being caught was enough – Jiang Cheng’s orgasm hit him like a freight train, and he arched off the toilet, his mouth opening in a silent scream, feeling the pleasure wreak havoc through his body. Shivering, his legs giving out as he fell back onto the lid with a loud clank.
“Sir?”
Jiang Cheng kept twitching with little bursts of pleasure but managed to find his voice and croak a weak, “I am fine, leave.”
Chasing the man away, Jiang Cheng stood there, trying to clean up the mess he had created. The toilet paper was bunched into a ball and thrown away in anger, as Jiang Cheng was catching his breath. Mercifully, the attack on his hole had stopped.
Just what the hell was going on?
Soon it was happening often enough for Jiang Cheng to establish certain patterns in this madness. Most importantly – the force only manifested at night, so Jiang Cheng relegated his nighttime duties to his disciples even if he hated himself for it. Still, the idea of seeming too tired was by far much more appealing than the truth of someone witnessing him twitching in ecstasy as an invisible cock was ramming his hole in the middle of a case.
Rule number two was simple – he should not pleasure himself. It was too unpredictable – he usually met with this curse in his bed and the one time he had jerked himself to completion the force had just kept going until he was lying drooling on his sheets, the overstimulation driving him to scratch at himself for lack of a better target. He had come a second time and as he was at the verge of tears – a third time, his cock spurting just a few drops as Jiang Cheng positively mewled, arching off the bed with such power it almost popped his spine.
Needless to say, he refused to repeat the accident and even if the force took its sweet time some days and was not even considerate enough to bring him off on others, he had his hands and all the fantasies involving a certain Sect Leader to keep himself occupied.
Number three was vital – do not let Wei Wuxian catch wind of this. He had narrowly avoided his adoptive brother coming to visit him at night, worried that Jiang Cheng was overworking himself. Still, after explaining that hosting someone would be more tiresome to Jiang Cheng than cuffing a yao and battering it in a police car, Wei Wuxian had quietened down, which in all honesty just worried Jiang Cheng even more. He fervently hoped his stick in the mud of a boyfriend would keep him occupied until Jiang Cheng was able to solve his little curse.
Number four was probably hopeless – do not think of Lan Huan while an invisible monstrous cock was making you twitch in pleasure and drool on your sheets. And Jiang Cheng had tried. He had truly given it his best, but it did not help that the case with the demonic cultivator meant he was spending more time with the man in question, so much so Lan Huan had learned his lunch order and was kindly passing by Jiang Cheng’s office to deliver it.
“You should eat,” Lan Huan remarked innocently and crash-landed Jiang Cheng back into reality, staring at those soulful eyes from across the table at the dingy cafe. As to emphasize his point Lan Huan pushed the stale croissant his way. “I know you haven’t eaten all day.”
That startled Jiang Cheng and he opened his mouth to accuse his colleague of spying. Lan Huan beat him to it and with a smile said, “I asked your second in command.”
Jiang Cheng would kill Wei Wuxian the next time he saw him.
“No need for concern,” he frowned instead. Something he did with alarming frequency when in the company of Lan Huan. It was like his muscles contorted into displeasure to make sure the Lan Leader would stay away and never even entertain the idea of liking Jiang Cheng.
Maybe it was even for the best, he wasn’t sure Lan Huan could ever get along with an angry man such as himself even if for the last couple of years they had made a wonderfully efficient team.
His mood had soured though, so Jiang Cheng grabbed the croissant and dipped it in his cold coffee, observing with absolute delight as Lan Huan’s elegant eyebrow jumped up in horror.
“Why was Wei Wuxian looking for you?” Jiang Cheng asked, curious as to why his brother would bother the esteemed Zewu-Jun.
“Ah,” Lan Huan smiled sheepishly and looked down into his own cup. “I wanted to meet him.”
Jiang Cheng balked at the other, hoping the crumbs from his only meal today were not being sprinkled on his shirt from his open mouth.
“Whatever for, if you don’t mind me asking?”
“You, actually.” Lan Huan responded with no shame, choking Jiang Cheng on his croissant.
“I was worried too,” he said and stood up with the grace of an immortal being and as he crossed the table to Jiang Cheng, lightly patted him on the back. “Is that so hard to believe?”
Yes. It should be, why would Zewu-jun care for Jiang Cheng – a sour, pitiful shell of a man who chased away everyone but the people who were obliged out of family ties to be around him?
“You should really find another ho–” Jiang Cheng was saying but before he had the chance to finish Lan Huan had darted out to the door of the cafe and Jiang Cheng’s instincts took over, allowing him to follow smoothly without thinking much of it.
Their suspect was on the move.
A man in a scruffy dark coat was lying on the ground as Lan Xichen had his foot on his back, tying his hands with glowing ropes, as the woman the man was targeting was being taken care of by the ambulance they called. Jiang Cheng was quietly staying away from everyone’s path because he was busy.
Not celebrating their catch and close of the demonic cultivator case.
Not even the fact that the last of the attacker’s victims had survived, had him preoccupied like this.
No. He was busy replaying the strength and agility Lan Huan had displayed by taking down the guy. Jiang Cheng had stopped several feet away, stunned by the sheer arousal that slammed into him as he watched Lan Huan manhandle the little oily man like it was nothing.
If only Jiang Cheng was that lucky.
By the time he mentally slapped himself and returned to reality, the man had somehow freed himself and was darting Jiang Cheng’s way – his spiritual weapon at the ready.
Jiang Cheng had but a few seconds to react and twist his body away from the sharp blade.
Not fast enough.
“Jiang Cheng!” Lan Huan bellowed from somewhere but Jiang Cheng felt nothing was amiss, did the blade miss him, had he been fast enough? Without thinking he spun around and kneeled the culprit in between his legs. The man groaned and dropped like a sack of potatoes.
“Are you okay?” Lan Huan asked, aiming a talisman at the guy to immobilize him.
Jiang Cheng frowned, “Yes, everything is fine.” He was quite certain it was, but he could feel unpleasant heat spreading down his arm, it took him a few seconds to realize it was blood and by that time Lan Huan had already spotted the wound and had taken Jiang Cheng’s arm gently holding it, whilst trying to roll up his sleeve. He tusked in sympathy. “It will need stitches.”
And here was Jiang Cheng again – useless with a bandaged arm, slightly dazed by how much Lan Huan affected his rational brain.
“Glad you didn’t need stitches,” the paramedic who had first responded to the accident exclaimed joyfully, and she grabbed him by his shoulder. “Hey Ling Chen, did you see the cultivator? He got his arm almost split in two but that buffoon healer from the Lan Sect told me to move out of his way and got him healed. Come, come take a look.”
Jiang Cheng made a sour face, hoping he would be freed from the role of a show animal soon enough, but he had no strength left in himself to fight the two women as they were marveling at his arm.
He was still reeling himself.
Jiang Cheng was absolutely hopeless, just having the Lan Sect Leader around was turning his brain to mush so he quite frankly deserved to be punished. Even if that was in the form of two chirping, bubbly paramedics entertained by simple chi transfer.
“Are you okay?” Lan Huan asked as they watched the last police car leave. “It did not require stitches,” he added in an attempt to lift the mood.
Jiang Cheng huffed under his breath.
Damn, it worked.
“And you?” He hurried to ask unless Lan Huan noticed him slipping.
“Hmm? Oh, yes! I am okay,” he positively chirped but Jiang Cheng could tell the other Sect Leader was tense and he could wager his own presence was probably giving Lan Huan a headache.
It was his cue to leave.
“Well, I’ll get off your hair then,” he said out loud, his mood souring further. He wanted their time at the cafe back. “I’ll speak at the next cultivation convention with the rest of the Leaders, I think it will be for the best if we don’t work together anymore.”
He should never again endanger a mission because he could not control his thoughts around the Lan Leader. Jiang Cheng was weak, and he’d be damned if he dragged Lan Huan with him.
He turned to leave, but a quiet, “I am sure that will be a relief to you.” stopped him in his tracks.
“What?” he barked, almost offended, spinning on his heel, ready to fight. Did Lan Huan think so little of him? Sure, he was expecting this outcome, and had been for months now. But for Lan Huan to put the entire affair solely on him was aggravating.
But Lan Huan looked up at him, surprise dawning on his face. “You barely tolerate me? I thought these weeks chasing our suspect would be beneficial for me in winning your favor but I have somehow made it worse?”
“Hate?” A lone nerve above Jiang Cheng’s eye was twitching in irritation. “I’ve never hated you.”
“But you always look so unhappy to see you’ve been paired with me,” Lan Huan sighed in exasperation but a little spark of mischievousness was lighting up his gentle eyes. “What if there is another reason we should not work together,” he added.
“You have another reason?” Jiang Cheng was completely flummoxed. “What do you mean by my face!!? It’s your fault anyway because–” he clamped a hand over his mouth horrified. He had almost confessed to his inappropriate feelings. What an idiot he was. Next time he might as well admit that he would be getting off to Lan Huan bodyslamming a guy for the next three weeks.
“ Oh, so judging by Sect Leader Jiang’s words I would be right to say he does not, in fact, hate me?” Lan Huan was getting closer, his expensive leather shoes slowly dragging in the dirty alley. He looked…almost happy and for his life Jiang Cheng could not understand how it had come to this.
However, the words kept infuriating him so Jiang Cheng threw his hands one last time and exclaimed loudly, “ Of course I do not hate you, I have only the utmost respect…” he choked on his tongue – Lan Huan was crowding in closer.
Oh.
“Utmost respect?” Lan Huan asked innocently and at last, Jiang Cheng understood his colleague. What he saw in Lan Huan’s eyes was an unmistakable desire. And maybe he should have questioned it, maybe he should have asked more questions the likes of “ How long ,” and “ Are you sure ?”
Instead, Jiang Cheng braved his last reservations and crooked his lips into a semblance of a smile. “We should definitely not work together,” he grinned and Lan Huan was on him.
All of Jiang Cheng's fantasies had been right about one thing – Lan Huan did lose all his reservations when properly incentivized. Truly, the fact made itself clear the moment they entered Lan Huan’s apartment and the man slammed Jiang Cheng against the door.
“That damned shirt,” he’d groaned and tore all of Jiang Cheng’s buttons. Jiang Cheng would have been mad in any other circumstances but right then he’d just found it incredibly arousing and wasted no time in wrapping his legs around Lan Huan’s torso.
“Show me that bland Lan bedroom of yours,” he’d snarked but it ended in a high pitch as Lan Huan bit his neck where it met his shoulder.
“Yes,” Lan Huan agreed and with surprising ease carried his horny treasure to the room and threw him on a ridiculously firm mattress. Jiang Chen wasted no time and rid himself of his belt and jeans, shimmying out of his underwear the moment Lan Huan turned to dispose of his own clothes.
"Look at you,” was almost punched out of Lan Huan’s throat as he turned and found Jiang Cheng spreading his legs, fully naked and aroused. Lan Huan climbed on the bed as it creaked under his broad frame and Jiang Cheng was faced with the look of a man who had starved for years and was finally presented with a feast.
Before Jiang Cheng lost his nerves and croaked something witty, though, Lan Huan’s hand found his cock and stroked it firm and fast.
“W-what are you–?” he wanted to ask but Lan Huan picked up the pace as with his other hand he was mapping the expanse of Jiang Cheng’s pale chest. “That’s right, A-Cheng.” He crooned and thumbed Jiang Cheng’s slit making him moan at the unexpected onslaught of feelings and arch his back off the bed.
“Can you come for me love?” Lan Huan kept his honeyed words spilling but Jiang Cheng was busy twisting in the sheets. It was too fast, so sudden – he felt the wave of pleasure cresting as the glide of that hand became smoother with all the pre-come that was weeping from his cock. He wanted to run, but Lan Huan’s hand on his chest was suddenly pinning him down instead of gently caressing him.
“Don’t…” he whined as he felt himself falling, any second and it would be over.
“No, don’t fight it, A-Cheng,” Lan Huan said patiently, like a master scolding his protege. The remark made shame burn in Jiang Cheng’s belly as if he was being talked to like a kid.
The shame only paved the way for his impending fall – he trembled weakly as his cock spurted his release and his desperate little moans warned Lan Huan of each and every time it did as he guided Jiang Cheng through it.
“So good for me.” The praise penetrated the fog of pleasure and Jiang Cheng raised his eyes, squinting through his blurry vision at Lan Huan who was licking the come off his fingers like it was a delicacy. It was erotic enough for Jiang Cheng’s hips to jump in a silent plea on instinct alone.
“Why did you do this,” he asked through heavy pants. The magic sex he had been having was keeping him in shape but the pure brutal force with which Lan Huan punched out his orgasm took him by surprise more than any invisible cock could.
He certainly liked that side of his new lover even if he would never admit it.
“What about making me come so fast could be beneficial for you,” he asked instead, reverting to his business persona, lest he lets the shameful begging for more make its way out of his throat.
“Oh,” Lan Huan turned his intense glare back on him, making Jiang Cheng want to cower on instinct. Lan Huan might be polite and kind to a fault but there was always that restrained quiet power vibrating underneath his skin.
It seemed he had an outlet for it.
“Who said we are anywhere near done?” he asked and took Jiang Cheng’s ankle in his hands, gliding them up the smooth skin, and making Jiang Cheng’s stomach clench in anticipation.
“If it is too much for you dear, you have to say it now and we will stop.” Lan Huan crooned in the crook of his knee, his voice losing its intensity, but his gaze remained serious, He kissed the ticklish spot underneath.
“Fuck, you have lost your mind if you think I want this any less,” growled Jiang Cheng and slid his other leg down Lan Huan’s naked torso until it reached his stiff member.
Then he pressed, issuing a challenge.
And Lan Huan took it in stride, flipping Jiang Cheng at once and spreading his cheeks to unveil his entrance. He wasted no time, and Jiang Cheng had a moment to wonder when he had lubed his fingers before those exact questing digits breached him, making him clench in surprise.
Whereas Lan Huan had been so fast in bringing him off before, he was torturously slow in doing it now. The little shocks of overstimulation sang through Jiang Cheng every so often, the almost pain bordering on pleasure enough for his cock to renew its interest.
“Did you touch yourself with my name on your lips?”
“Don’t f-flatter yourself too much,” Jiang Cheng stuttered out, but then Lan Huan crooked his fingers and Jiang Cheng’s world exploded as he moaned unabashedly. The pleasure had intensified to the point of tears streaming down his face, he was so sensitive he now realized that Lan Huan had ruined him with the first orgasm so he could take him completely apart with the second.
“Hold still, darling,” Lan Huan’s fingers disappeared and Jiang Cheng clenched desperately, feeling all too empty.
“I c-can’t do this again,” Jiang Cheng wailed, too lost in how hard it was to allow pleasure to overtake him, no matter how much he chased after his peak it was not coming – feeling like a desperate itch he was clawing at.
“Oh? I doubt that, my sweet.”
And then Lan Huan was sinking into him, punching the breath out of Jiang Cheng’s lungs.
How was he so damn big?
Jiang Cheng felt completely enveloped by the Lan Leader – his heavy breaths in his ear, his hands wrapping around him and his cock splitting him from the inside.
He had not yet begun to move, but as he set a punishing pace it was all too much, a cresting agony making Jiang Cheng tremble.
He was sure he was drooling on the sheets, as Lan Huan was pressing his head in the pillow, mercilessly stoking the flames in his belly, never letting him rest even for a second. He wanted to beg for release, for a pause – for any reprieve from the pleasure that was wracking his frame but never quite reaching its peak.
He clenched his ass in an attempt to spur Lan Huan on and judging by the groan that won him, he could almost feel himself taking in the reins and controlling the pace, not knowing if he should beg Lan Huan to speed up or slow down.
But then the Lan Leader changed the angle, hitting Jiang Cheng’s prostate with every thrust and completely erasing any sane thought from his mind. The buzzing became too much – absolutely unbearable as he writhed in pleasure – all the while Lan Huan kept up the pace, never relenting, never offering salvation.
Jiang Cheng must have passed out because, by the time he woke up, Lan Huan was diligently cleaning his mess with a damp towel. And it felt heavenly on his sweat-stained skin.
Fuck this. The Lan had even warmed it and was gently pressing it on to not wake him. Why was the man so perfect in everything?
“Annoying,” he grumbled sleepily, and the comforting touch was immediately gone.
“I am sorry, did it wake you?”
“What,” is the intelligent thought that came out of Jiang Cheng’s mouth unbidden. But as his brain switched to high gear he snorted and waved his hand imperiously. “Not that, you,” he said and buried his face in the linens, so pleased that it smelt all of Lan Huan. “You are too good,” he mumbled and wondered if his smell could permeate the pillow too. Would Lan Huan lay in his bed one night and just smell Jiang Cheng all over?
Shamelessly, like a cat he rubbed his face in the pillow for good measure.
“Do you want something to drink then?”
“What time is it?” Jiang Cheng asked instead, the worries of his work creeping back up in his pleasing reality.
“You have time, Sect Leader Jiang. It is almost three in the morning and no one will miss you tomorrow after we closed this case so fast.” Lan Huan chuckled but his hand stroked Jiang Cheng’s naked back in reassurance and squeezed his thigh.
“We can lie, and say it is still ongoing,” Jiang Cheng agreed and dozed off, for what seemed like hours, quietly enjoying the pitter-patter of Lan Huan’s soft slippers on the floor.
The night had been amazing and he felt pleasantly sore. Who needed a magic cock anyway when you could bag the number one bachelor of this generation ? He felt himself gloat and briefly wondered if the curse would leave him off now that he had slept with Lan Huan. Not that both could ever compare.
Lan Huan was everything, so much better to have a lover to hold him and guide the desperate arches of his body. So much warmer and big–
Jiang Cheng’s eyes shot open. No.
It cannot be .
But now that he thought about it, the size and the feel… He jumped in the bed, positively startling Lan Huan who was just attempting to climb in next to him.
That ridiculous size!
“Are you okay?” Lan Huan asked but Jiang Cheng was beyond reason.
Always at night? Before damn nine o’clock. So considerate??! Who else could craft a polite curse with a curfew? And always on nights when he was not meeting Lan Huan on the demonic cultivator case.
He slowly turned to his mystified lover.
“Lan Huan,” he warned – his voice soft and mellow. “Have you put a curse on me?”
Lan Huan looked positively dumbfounded. Thick silence descended over the apartment, making Jiang Cheng almost squirm from the nerves he was feeling but then,
“Would I ever?” Lan Huan asked quietly.
And Jiang Cheng wanted to scream that he believed him, that it was just a stupid coincidence but he had always trusted his gut and his pride and experience told him to do it again.
“Did you put a sex curse on me?” he asked again.
“A-Cheng,” Lan Huan pleaded. “What is going on, just tell me.”
And so Jiang Cheng did, he told him and he did not hide the accusation from his voice. It could very well be Lan Huan, it had felt like Lan Huan.
“What have you done to me?” he asked again, now pacing the wide bedroom like a caged animal. “Maybe it was not on purpose,” he pleaded.
And he might have hit on a nerve, for Lan Huan looked up at him in horror.
“Nie Huaisang.” He said, making Jiang Cheng frown in revulsion.
“I am not thinking about my friends right now.” He hissed, absolutely panicked.
“No,” Lan Huan jumped from his bed and began digging up in his drawers. He produced a toy from somewhere and in any other circumstances Jiang Cheng would have loved the reveal, for prim and proper Sect Leader Lan was currently holding a fleshlight in his hands.
But as it stood.
“You think?” Jiang Cheng gulped.
“The Nie Sect sent it to me, I had thought it harmless but…” he trailed off, a charming shade of red creeping up his neck. Jiang Cheng should have been loving all of this. Should have been teasing Lan Huan relentlessly but as it stood all he could do was utter a single,
“Try it.”
Gently, Lan Huan prodded the silicone with his finger. It disappeared slowly inside of the toy as both of them groaned at the same time.
Fuck.
“He seemed like the perfect test subject.” Nie Huaisang shrugged, as he drank off his expensive cup.
Jiang Cheng narrowed his eyes in warning.
“Be grateful, Jiang Cheng!” Nie Huaisang pointed at him with the tip of his fan, which he then opened and started fanning himself with despite the perfectly reasonable temperature in the Nie guest room. “Sect Leader Lan is so enchanted by you, the toy worked perfectly. It should connect a person with the object of their desires and in this case, as I understand it, it worked splendidly. I cannot wait to tell my–”
Jiang Cheng slammed his fist on the table, rattling the delicate china and making Nie Huaisang jump in his seat. “Never again do this to me,” he warned slowly. But Nie Huaisang looked unimpressed.
He shrugged again. “You can return it if you are that unsatisfied with it.”
Jiang Cheng wavered.
And oh, Nie Huaisang sniffed his hesitation like a shark in the water. “So you would like to keep my little ‘curse’?”
And well, Jiang Cheng could not explain the filthy ideas Lan Huan had whispered in his ear that night they had solved his little curse. Of long trips where Lan Huan could take the toy with him and finger it till the small hours of the night, never knowing how many orgasms it could wring out of his beloved just like that. But he’d make sure to try and guess and count them slowly through the night.
Or of long office hours and the way he could try to taste the toy instead? Wondering how Jiang Cheng would writhe in his office chair from lunch hours till late in the night when he would desperately jump in Lan Huan’s arms begging for more.
Jiang Cheng narrowed his eyes at the triumphant stare of his friend and did not grace that with an answer.
