Work Text:

They won. He's finally defeated Sae. The others are celebrating in the background crowding around Isagi. Isagi who scored the final goal of the game, sealing the fate of Blue Lock in the process.

So why is that, despite all of this, he feels nothing? Rin lets out a shaky breath, trying to regulate his body that is still trembling from the adrenaline that the game caused. His ears pick up the sound of footsteps on the artificial grass. Coming towards him.

Glancing in the direction of the approaching figure he sees.. oh, that's Sae. His big brother. Stopping in front of his tired body Sae looks down, examining him for a few seconds before shifting his gaze.

"Rin. I was wrong." He starts but Rin isn't listening anymore. He just drifts, barely staying on the border consciousness. When he refocuses on their one sided conversation, he hears Isagi's name. It echoes in his mind, leaving him feeling hollow. Sae startles when he hears him chuckle. Rin tries to smile, but it's simply not possible for him right now.

"I know Nii-chan." His brother stares him down, as if he's trying to solve some kind of puzzle. After an awkward pause Rin speaks up again.

"Are you going back to Spain after this?"

"..Yes." he responds after a moment of silence.

"I see. Then, I hope you have a safe trip." This time Sae's eyes actually widen a bit before he has a chance to regain his composure. Not waiting for an answer, Rin gets up from his previous position on the ground and leaves in the direction of the changing room. Sae only stands there not moving, watching him as he walks away.

---

In the locker room he sits on the bench chugging on his water as his teammates shout and holler in the wake of victory. A few minutes later while Anri is in the middle of congratulating them, Ego comes waltzing in without a care in the world. Rin tunes out his words, paying attention once his name is called.

"Itoshi Rin. Your awakening broke everything apart. And the only one who responded to that, was Isagi Yoichi."

Ah it's about Isagi again. Rin feels himself drift once again, Ego's words going in one ear and leaving through the other. The sleep deprived maniac actually praises them, probably for the first time ever since Blue Lock was put into motion, then turning and leaving emotional teenagers in his wake. Slowly, everyone else starts to filter out of the room. Closing his eyes Rin allows a moment of rest, letting exhaustion take over.

Just as he thought he's alone, a shadow looms over him. A voice infiltrates his ears.

"Rin." He doesn't bother to look up, he could recognize that tone anywhere.

"I couldn't have won if it wasn't for you. That goal was just as yours as it was mine. Thank you, Rin."

At this Rin speaks up, throwing a weak hearted glare at Isagi, that has no real heat behind it.

"Don't bother. You won, bastard. You devoured me, go rejoice with the other lukewarm idiots."

Isagi let's out a surprised sound, his jaw going slack in the process. His brows furrow, as if not quite comprehending what Rin just said.

"What? What are you saying Rin?" Isagi leans closer trying to make sense of him. Suddenly it's too crowded with Isagi taking away his space, those deep blue eyes of his practically swallowing him up. Worn down and defeated, Rin doesn't do anything to remedy the situation, slumping against the locker behind him.

"Answer me. Rin." Number 11's eyes bore into him, almost burning holes through him with how intense his stare is. When the younger Itoshi doesn't answer he grabs his chin and forcefully turning his face towards him, making it impossible for Rin to avoid eye contact. By now, Rin would've usually batted his hand away harshly, yet he doesn't this time. He lets out a resigned sound, gathering up enough energy to answer.

"It was all for my brother. I won't play football anymore, there's no reason to. I'm leaving Blue Lock." As if punched across face, Isagi steps back bewildered before his expression contorts into one of.. anger?

"So you're leaving me?"

"What are yo-" Rin is pressed against the surface and his wrists are caught in a painful grip.

"Rin. Rinnie." Isagi, the bastard repeats his name, giving him an awful nickname. The way he looks at Rin makes him sick. There's something dangerous in that stare he gives Rin.

"Do you really wanna give up? Rin, you didn't truly think I would just let you go. After all we went through together." Isagi's wording is strange. Rin doesn't really understand or maybe just there's no fuck left to give in him to care. Whatever fight was left in him, it all vanished at this point.

Isagi's practically on top of him with how close they are to eachother, but Rin doesn't do anything to prevent it, he observes the other boy's face instead. Even in the shallow lights filtering in from the hallway, Isagi's features stand out. Especially his eyes. They are a deep shade of blue saphire seemingly glowing in the dark.

Noticing how Rin's attention has wavered Isagi sighs, deflating as if all that anger just minutes ago has left him and turned into smoke. He strokes Rin's cheek delicately the pads of his fingers gently dragging across Rin's face. He looks like he wants to say something before shaking his head, only then clearing his throat.

"It's okay. You can do whatever want. But wait for me until I finish Blue Lock. I'll take care of you then, you won't have to do anything. Rin." Isagi's voice is sweet and silky, seeping through Rin's skin like some deathly poison. Rin's eyes are filled with a cloudy haze, detached from this world. He goes pliant in Isagi's embrace, closing his eyes. There's no reason for him to play football anymore, there's no reason why he should shout and protest.

"Okay." He mutters, voice so light that Isagi barely hears it. What Rin doesn't see is how Isagi's face takes on a twisted expression, unlike the determined boy everyone has come to know. Perhaps it's better this way.

---

Explaining to Ego and Anri is a long and tiring process. Anri looks at him sadly in contrast to the host of Blue Lock, who stares at him unblinkingly like Rin's some sort of test subject to be taken apart. In the end, other than Anri's inquiries, there's no resistance. He signs some papers and is given back his belongings.

He doesn't say goodbye to the others who are probably also leaving soon however only temporarily compared to him. However near the exit sign there's a lone figure leaning against the wall, waiting for him. It's Isagi, of course it's Isagi. Always. Noticing Rin who has stopped walking he pushes himself off the wall and starts strolling towards him in a leisurely pace. Stopping in front of him, they stare at eachother until Isagi unexpectedly grabs him by the waist pulling Rin flush against him.

"What are you doing?"

Raising an eyebrow, Rin doesn't resist, maybe the slightest bit curious about the other boy's intentions.

A second later he is pushed against the surface of the tiled wall, caged in by the older boy's body giving him no escape route. Isagi's lips are on his the next moment and Rin gasps in surprise. Isagi sucks on his lips not giving him a chance to regain his composure. Rin can only take it, letting out small, pitiful sounds that are starting to sound like moans which makes Rin wonder if he has always been able to let out sounds like these. He can feel Isagi smirk against his puffy lips, when Rin feels a tongue poking at the seam of his mouth. In his astonishment he does nothing and simply lets it happen as Isagi explores his mouth. This time he can't hold back his moans, feeling like a fog has settled over his mind leaving no thoughts, no nothing, only Isagi.

Isagi, who's currently busy gripping at Rin's sides as he groans into his mouth, the vibrations sending a jolt of pleasure through the younger boy's body. His knees buckle under him, struggling to hold up his weight, but Isagi keeps him there pinned against the wall.

Slowly, he pulls away from a heaving Rin trying get much needed air into his lungs.

"Look at you, so precious and pretty and all for me."

Isagi looks at him like Rin just fell from heaven into his arms. His eyes are dark and sharp, taking all of Rin in, who's struggling to catch his breath. Bringing a hand to his head, Isagi cards his hand through now his former teammate's hair. Rin leans into his touch, his eyes opening wide a moment later, as if he himself didn't know what he was doing.

Isagi lets his head fall against Rin's shoulder, content with embracing Rin. His Rin. Not that Rin would agree with that. Surprisingly, the silence is not at all awkward. The only thing interrupting it is their quiet breaths. As Rin is about to speak up, he feels a sharp pain in his neck.

"Wha- you lukewarm bastard!" Isagi, that asshole just bit him. Rin can feel Isagi grin against him neck, his hands keeping a wriggling Rin in place. He licks the bite as if trying to apologize before pulling away completely. He takes a step back, giving a fuming Rin a self satisfied smile.

"Huh, looks like you still have some bite left in you. Don't worry, it's just something to make sure you remember me, Darling."

And just like that, he's walking back in the direction of the Blue Lock facilities as if there's nothing wrong with what he did, leaving a bewildered and uncomprehending Rin staring at his back.

Trembling fingers slowly reach to his neck, feeling the still rather sore bite on it. There's a numb pulsing and semi-dried saliva on it. Isagi has really... left his mark on him.

It takes Rin an absurdly long time to fix his clothes and not look like, well, like someone who has just been kissed senseless.

Sighing, he gathers his bag that was discarded on the floor the walks towards the exit signs.

This is it. Blue Lock is over. Football is over, forever.

---

On the day of the Worldcup finals Rin sits in his room, staring at live projection on his screen. In the corner sits a soccer ball, although not touched or moved from its place for a long time. The settled dust on top is further proof of it. Rin flops down on his bed, his phone thrown somewhere nearby.

Japan won against Germany in the final round, with a score of 3-2. The japanese team consisted mostly of Blue Lockers with the exception of Itoshi Sae. Claiming the final goal with an incredible direct shot that had the crownd roaring, was Isagi Yoichi.

Isagi.. after their last encounter in that desolate hallway, they hadn't seen the other in person again. His pale hand absentmindedly traces the area where Isagi bit him. Though the mark already faded, Rin could still feel the phantom sensation of Isagi's teeth. Turning over on his side he falls asleep, forgetting about Blue Lock and the promise that was made there.

A week later there's a knock on the door. Since his parents are away again, Rin goes to answer the door instead. However he stops in his tracks when he gets there. Standing on his porch is one Isagi Yoichi. He smiles at Rin who's almost rooted to the spot with how still he is.

"Hello Rin. I've kept my promise. Thank you for waiting for me."

And just like that, Rin's life enters a new phase with a new addition in his previously lonely days, one called Isagi.

---

A drop falls on Isagi's nose as it starts raining heavily. Cursing, he runs faster on the street trying to get to his car before he starts to resemble a wet cat. Around the corner is finally sees the sleek back car. Getting in quickly he sighs. Training was a grueling ordeal today otherwise he would be at home by now. Not to mention Michael fucking Kaiser who kept on getting his nerves, especially today.

Driving through the slippery streets of Munich the route home takes longer than usual. When he finally arrives at his desired destination a look of contentment takes over his features.

Unlocking the front door of the apartment, a pleasant scent enters his nose. His stomach rumbles and Isagi realizes that he should probably eat something. Taking his time neatly setting his shoes near the entrance and plopping down his sports bag on an unused seat. Going further down the hallway, Isagi is sure of what he wants to eat for dinner tonight.

---

Most things seem bleak and more often than not Rin feels a serene sensation wash over him. He thinks back on what he has done so far since waking up and.. nothing. Maybe he ate breakfast, though there's no recollection of doing it. Ah, right.. it's always Isagi who would pester him when he has time to spare. Recently his training regimen has increased or so he says, taking away of quality time spent together.

Other than that, Rin just wanders around their shared apartment aimlessly, occasionally sitting down in the picturesque room that has the biggest windows, also the room where all his art pieces are made and stored. When Isagi first discovered Rin's reoccurring hobby, he immediately renovated one of the rooms, not giving Rin the choice of objection. Thinking of it, whenever Rin expresses the briefest interest in something, let it be a piece of clothing or maybe a well crafted painting brush, the next day the object always appears somewhere in the house. Or Yoichi subtly mentions it. ..Yoichi? Oh, Rin realizes with a repulsive shiver. Isagi.. who has become Yoichi somewhere along the years spent together.

His parents rarely reach out to him they never do and the last occasion he talked with Sae directly was right after the U20 match. During the family dinner they had after, Sae didn't utter a single word and Rin was in no mood for a verbal fight. The next day Sae left for Spain without regard for their parents' pleas for him to stay a bit longer. Ever since Rin has only seen Sae through TV or on Yoichi's computer when he was reviewing other teams's matches.

Sitting all day holed up is probably not good for him, but what can Rin do? He doesn't have a job which, perhaps years ago would have made him feel like a failure not even able to accomplish something like this. Now it rarely occupies his mind. There are a few medals and other prizes stashed away somewhere in a cupboard from the art contests he won. Those paintings are showcased in worldwide exhibitions right now. Really, the only reason he entered the contests was because Yoichi persuaded him through conventional or.. more unconventional means. Regardless, it makes him feel nice his boyfriend appriciates him so much, so brazenly.

Perking up, his eyes widen when he hears shuffling from the direction of the front door. Yoichi wasn't supposed to be home yet, or was he? Glancing up at the clock on the wall, surprise washing over him. It was past 8..? Rin thought it was about 5. Huh. Maybe Yoichi was right about Rin getting too lost in his head sometimes.

Before he could stand up strong arms wrap around him from behind and Rin feels heavy breathing ghosting over his ear. Yoichi snuggles into his nape.

"Rin. I'm home." arching an eyebrow, Rin twists around in the other's tight embrace. He gives Yoichi a quick peck.

"Welcome back. How was training, lukewa- Ah!" Breath hitching, Rin goes rigid when Yoichi starts mouthing at the pale column of his neck.

"Yoichi- hah, you s-should take a shower." Rin tries to pry the older male off but it has the opposite effect, the arms around him gripping him even harder akin to snakes. Yoichi shuts him off with a kiss, his tongue sneaking into Rin's mouth, rendering him powerless. Eyes fluttering shut, he gasps and quivers when Yoichi nips on his bottom lip. Pulling away there's a string of saliva connecting the two.

"Let me have this. Let me have you Rinnie." There goes Yoichi again with that nickname. Rin is a pliant, enticing mess when he is picked up bridal style and carried into their bedroom. Lifting his arms around Yoichi's neck, he nuzzles the warm body pressed against him. Yoichi lets out a low groan, as if even such a simple gesture would make his heart beat rapidly. Just for Rin.

The next moments are a blur of colors, sounds, sensations and Yoichi, Yoichi, Yoichi. The feeling of fingers against his hole makes Rin snap his eyes open and he sees dark, hooded eyes staring at him intently.

"You okay? Can I?" Ah, Yoichi is so considerate, making sure Rin is okay even now. He gives a small smile, nodding, whimpering right after at a finger entering him moving in pleasurable repeating motions. It's not long before another finger is added, scissoring Rin open. Distracted with being stretched open, he jerks violently at a hand wrapping around his dick, stroking him.

"Oh? What's wrong? Surely it's not too much for you." cooing at him, Yoichi grins at Rin letting out a choked sob. Next thing Rin knows all three fingers are pulled out of him and he is flipped over to lie on his stomach. Huh, since when were there so many fingers in him? He doesn't have the time to ponder over it, the blunt, heady tip of Yoichi's dick pressing against him rim gathers his attention in a heartbeat.

"A-ah, wait, you're too big, not yet!" Rin panicks, trying to scoot backards on the bed but he is grabbed by his hips, pulled back right onto Yoichi's girthy length.

"Oh but you can, you always can darling." Suddenly the figure looming over him pressing his body down onto the sheets seems much more dangerous. The caring and loving Yoichi vanished, leaving an insatiable monster in his place.

Rin gives up, goes pliant in Yoichi's hold, letting himself be devoured by the dark figure that is his lover. Their shared sounds echo in the room through the night. Somewhere along the way Rin falls unconsious.

He doesn't think Yoichi stopped then. he never stops

---

He wakes up with a sharp pain in his back, sore all over. However his skin is not sticky and he feels clean. Ah, he was taken care of even while asleep. His reminiscing is interrupted as Yoichi pulls him closer under the covers, sighing in contentment.

Rin lets his eyelids close, feeling unmotivated to get up. Not like that matters. He has plenty more days, weeks, years to come, to repeat the same routine over and over again. With Yoichi.

Absently, he notes it's raining again. He turns over inhaling the blue haired striker's calming scent soothing him as always. Rin finally falls asleep, sleep embracing him with ease, the nightmares of the past are no longer there to plague him.
