Work Text:

Even in times like these with all his supernatural capabilities as well as experiences, Sebastian hadn't known what to expect of the current situation.

Truly, things had been going rather well of recent, as per usual with the mission given by the Queen, and therefore to his young lord. However, it seemed that their luck would run dry. For first it was the disruption of Grell Sutcliffe, making his or rather as he has come to know, her. Has made her chaotic presence known and persisted to disrupt his outings that pertained to the case, not that it wasn't also expected. She was naturally annoying as ever. A part of him might’ve thought she was being distracting on purpose were it not for her blatant confessions stating otherwise. She of course there for him and him alone uncaring of the proceedings of humans.

Yet that wasn't all that caused issue, no, secondly, it would be the absolute ridiculousness of their opponent's nature, the only thing clever about them was the headache they left in his young master's wake and surprisingly his own as well. It was as if they existed to vex the demon and master alike. Thirdly, it would seem that despite the ridiculousness that was their foe, they had managed to acquire a power that of a higher being, one that could potentially harm even a demon. Which was, naturally, not good. Not at all.

That did nothing to ease him in his investigations nor did it help them in the slightest. It simply informed him that they were either underestimating their enemy or perhaps not even they know of the power they possessed. Making it possible that perhaps their foe wasn't really the one they should be after. Perhaps this ‘opponent’ was more puppet than master.

Despite all these complications, the investigation would soon draw to a close. Through both stressful and tiring work. The mastermind was found and apprehended or rather, eliminated as per the Queen's request. After all, if he couldn't do this much, what kind of butler would he be? Yet, still, things could not end as perfect as he would wish. No. For you see, Sebastian had actually struggled battling the formidable powers of his young master's enemy whom was also in possession of higher abilities or rather was of a higher being, nearly angel yet not quite. It was honestly laughable, a human so greedy to seek something so utterly out of reach. Still their power was something if anything.

Even so, he had requested of his young lord to wait with Agni and Prince Soma as they had been ambushed at the time when this final battle began. The foreign master and servant were not supposed to be dragged into it but were regardless despite it all.

Sebastian was panting, looking up at the night sky, with an almost ragged breath. His true form exposed, horns stretched and made apparent, a spiked tail swaying only slightly soon curling around his own left leg, black wings trailing behind him as he walked over to lay against a brick wall, covered in blood both his and not of his own. Truly, at last things were starting to improve. That was until he heard a familiar voice call out to him. He had been momentarily distracted by his pain that he even failed to notice the person's arrival. A human, that much he could sense.

Agni was some distance away, somewhat out of breath, in a stance that seemed ready to strike but had instantly relaxed upon seeing that Sebastian was alone or- rather that there was only one person- creature? That resembled Sebastian somewhat erriely. There before him. The human's eyes widened, unsure of what he was looking at, the glowing red eyes of what he could only describe as a demon staring back at him. "Sebastian?"

The demon actually wondered what to do with Agni now that he saw. Should he kill him? He didn't particularly want to, in fact the thought left him in a very sour mood. No, perhaps he could pretend to be someone- something else, because surely the man couldn't possibly think this unsightly being was truly him. Surely?

"I'm afraid…You have the wrong person." His voice seemed to echo, in a strange way he couldn't really give words too. Though if Agni really had too, he supposed it sounded like multiple people were speaking at once. You would think hearing the voice of such a horrifying creature would make you want to run in the opposite direction but of course, Agni wasn't so simple minded. Instead the human butler walked towards him, slow and cautious. When Agni stopped, now closer than Sebastian would have liked. He finally spoke and simply said, "No."

"No?" He questioned. Did he just say…no?

"No. You are Sebastian.” He looked the demon up and down, trying to wrap his mind around it all before finding his words again, “Sebastian…what happened to you?"

Sebastian's wings twitched, cascading feathers onto the ground. His own tail snaking up his leg pointing towards Agni. Almost as if it would sting him. A tempting thought for a moment, the demon however did not cave to his instinct and instead sighed. "Never a fool, are you Agni?" He almost laughed.

Agni only stepped closer in concern till he was within touching distance of the demon. "Your…" He spoke only for him to stop. He honestly didn't know what he was looking at. He glanced at the horns to the glowing eyes to the wings, to…is that a tail? Agni stared with a somewhat alarming fascination.

The demonic butler however wondered with curiosity. What would Agni do once his suspicions were confirmed.

"A demon." He finally completed Agni's sentence for him.

Agni's eyes widened before they once again calmed. "A demon…You're a demon?"

"Yes." Sebastian looked at Agni with interest.
The human hesitated slightly before finally placing a hand on Sebastian's shoulder, he was still covered in blood, Agni could feel it soaking his hand. "Are you hurting?"

The demon's eyes widened. "How can you still ask that after knowing my nature."

"Your nature is not of concern. What is cornering is your state of being. You are…my friend. I only want to help you."

Sebastian actually laughed in response. Which startled Agni, "Sebastian?"

"Apologies Agni…I just…wasn't expecting this reaction from you." Nor those words at least not in this scenario.

Agni relaxed and stepped beside Sebastian to assist him, which Sebastian graciously accepted. "Are you able to stand? Do you need me to carry you?"

Sebastian narrowed his eyes, though not out of anger or frustration but rather something else. His eyes seemed to glow even more fiercely. "I will be fine Agni, it is only a mortal wound."

Agni's face screamed something that the demon could only assume was 'that doesn't make it any better.' Which caused Sebastian to chuckle. "I will be fine. Truly. Agni. My wounds are already healing as we speak."

"I see…"

"My young master?" He asked Agni.

"He's safe. They both are. I stayed with them while we traveled to the manor. When the young lord told me of where you most likely were. I traveled only once they were set for bed as well as alerted the others to keep guard."

"Good."

Sebastian walked away from Agni, letting the moonlight hit his figure, as soon as it did, his true form vanished without a trace. "Shall we return?" A light smile on his features. The human before him responded in kind, a flicker of something on his features. Tinted a light pink.

Was he?...Did he?

No. He dismissed the forming thought.

"I- You want to see my true form?"

Agni nodded.

"Again?" Sebastian questioned as if he wasn't sure he was hearing himself or Agni right.

"Yes."

He certainly was not expecting such a request, some days later after that event.
The demon chuckled slightly, albeit something akin to nervousness, "Pardon me when I say- but why on earth would you want to expose your eyes to such a horrid sight?"

"You are not horrid." The human butler responded with a very concerned and serious expression, clearly not liking that Sebastian referred to himself as such. Sebastian's head tilted to side only slightly as if he was still trying to understand the human’s motivations behind seeing him like this.

A thought did occur to him that fateful night but he had dismissed it. He was aware of Agni's feelings for him. The human thought he was oh so very clever at hiding them but that didn't stop the demon from catching the occasional glances and fond look in Agni's eyes whenever he was around and more so when they were alone.

So it really shouldn't have been shocking when Agni looked like a blushing lover stuck on a recent paramor yet that look was directed at him. In his demon form, his true form, unsightly and hideous at least to his own eyes. It had its moments, its perks, fortunately he was able to move and shift it however he pleased but at its nature, there was a core form. The one he took that night and for Agni to be flustered by it of all things.

Very well.

He had been meaning to do this for quite some time, excluding his demonic form. Though he supposed this would work out in his favor. For Agni certainly seemed to favor it.

And so, Sebastian told Angi to wait for the dead of night. When both their master's would be at rest as well as the rest of the household servants. He'd meet Agni in his room. So when the human heard the knock and collected himself. Opening the door, standing behind it so Sebastian could enter. It was not an understatement to say a shiver ran down his spine at the sound entering the room.

Sebastian heels clicked against the floor, as he walked into the room before finally standing before him. Wings dragging behind him, feathers cascading to the floor. Tail moving fluidly behind him, hair cascading to his waist, everything clear in the candlelit room. When Agni finally stopped staring at Sebastian realizing the door was still wide open. He closed it, only to turn around and find Sebastian extremely close. Close enough to map out his facial features. “I do hope you don't regret this.” The demon spoke softly.

However, how could Agni, when all he felt, all he wanted… was to hold this beautiful man. Eternally and forever.

Sebastian glanced at Agni's lips, he slowed and lightly placed his clawed hands on Agni's clothed chest. “Speak now so that I know you want this.” He could hear Agni's heartbeat, it was fast, excited or perhaps nervous. Blackened hands reached Agni's neck, caressing his jawline, a tap of the tip of his claw on the human's lips.

“I want this.”

“Do you?” Sebastian was certainly amused. Did he even understand what he was implying, was he truly so certain.

“You want this… to see? To touch? or do you want me? What do you want…Agni?” Those words whispered deeply into the human's very being. “You'll have to be-” Sebastian's tempting words of seduction were cut off when he watched Agni make his move, it wasn't forceful nor hard or harsh, it was a slow move. It was feeling. As Agni brought their mouths together, one of his hands cupping the back of the demon's neck while the other wrapped around his waist.

Hells below, was it feeling.

Sebastian's tail wrapped around one of Agni's legs, as both his arms moved slowly to wrap around his neck. The kiss was a passionate dance, that they both took their time with. Sooner than not, the demon felt himself being lifted, an admirable feat, legs wrapped around his human. Brought to his bed, feeling each other all over. The demon would say it was an interesting way of lust, of interest over an equally interesting human he was fond of. The human would say it was something more. In truth, they were both correct. On the same want, just different forms of phrasing.

Of feeling.
