Chapter Text

==> Reader: Be Mituna.

Your name is MITUNA CAPTOR. You’re pretty brain dead for the most part, pretty autistic as some people say (as an insult ever since you’ve gotten brain damage, little do they know you’ve had this long before that), and, you’re at a party. A party with a bunch of people you know. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and gog, do you feel like fucking crying and screaming? You should’ve stayed home. You’ve lost all hope, and Tulip in this mess, and you’re overwhelmed. Seriously, who fucking invites the guy who shows he’s pretty unstable by his behavior and words?

==> Mituna: Be Cronus.

Your name is CRONUS AMPORA and GOD does this party suck. People won't stop staring at you, and it's definitely not in a good way. Negative attention is still attention, you tell yourself, but their glares are starting to get to you. You wish you'd just stayed home, you weren't even invited anyways. At least the cup of booze in your hand will drown out your thoughts soon enough.

==> Cronus: Be The Reader.

Mituna had been sitting down in a corner of the place this party had been hosted— breathing heavily and covering his ears with his hands while murmuring all sorts of gibberish in frustration and irritation. Things could’ve been a lot better if you didn’t come, but he didn’t want Tula to go by herself, and, as the great matesprit he went with her. Bad idea. What a stupid fucking idea. Are you really that stupid? You look pretty stupid right now, crouched in a corner, almost crying. ”57UP1D, 57UP1D, 57UP1D— 4RGH77G3LLKPP$$;);’mhFHRS!” And now you’re speaking your thoughts aloud.

Cronus was maneuvering his way around the place, trying to dodge the judgy eyes of his peers and find somewhere to sit. He found the corner of the room and was ready to set up camp over here until he spotted Mituna crouched down and practically having a panic attack on the floor. He leaned on the wall by him and peered down at the goldblood, getting a good look at him. ”God, chief, you look like straight fuckin' hell. Get a grip.”

Oh, that voice, that fucking voice, is the last fucking voice Mituna ever wanted to hear tonight. Especially while he’d been spazzing out on the floor, starting to genuinely tear up with how, once again, overwhelmed he’d been. The goldblood practically snapped his head up, not in the mood to be fucked with or anything. ”—AA44GDHD476)(DWWQ425,!!!!!(;!!1 FUCK1NG CULL Y0UR53LF Y0U 54CK 0F C0W 5H17!” Mituna frustratedly screeched–his words not too loud over the blaring music. Typically he would’ve said sorry, and continued to freak out, but fuck that.

Cronus would've been taken aback by Mituna's harsh language if he didn't already expect that from him. ”Vwowv, chief. *Vwowv*. Someone really needs to calm you dowvn. Like urgently. You're too crazy for evwen me to vwant to fuck around vwith. Vwhere's your matesprit? I'd ask vwhere your moirail is but I ain't exactly in the mood to talk to that creepy fucker.” Despite him saying Mituna was too crazy for him to fuck with, he continued to fuck with him. Cronus slid down the wall and took a seat next to him, resting his arms on his knees. He took a swig from his cup while awaiting Mituna's response. God, did it taste horrible, but it was alcohol, and that's all that mattered really. He did his best not to make a sour face with no real reason behind it, I mean, who's he trying to impress? Mituna?

Mituna wasn’t surprised with Cronus’s reaction to his blabbering and yelling- it was pretty common with him. He was still really fucking pissed. If he was too crazy for Cronus to fuck with, then why is he still fucking here? His anger only built up, sniffling and aggressively wiping his eyes as he curled up further. ”1 D0N7 FUCK1NG— 4RRGGHHH, 1 D0N7-” He couldn’t seem to spit it out, far to frustrated, overwhelmed, and a ball of any other emotions. He didn’t really focus on Cronus’s actions, or how he reacted to the bitterness of the alcohol he drank. He was too busy with his own issues. ”G0G W1LL Y0U JU57 FUCK *0FF*?” He aggressively sniffled, he couldn’t believe he was crying in front of Cronus. Gog knows he’s just gonna fuck with him for being retarded again. ”C4N7 Y0U G0 H4RR455 50M30M3 3L53? 4N7 07H3R 7R0LL?”

Cronus rolled his eyes at the goldblood's actions, casually wrapping an arm around him. ”Jeez. Spit it out. You don't vwhat nowv?” He teased, a small smirk on his face. His expression changed when he noticed the years streaming down Mituna's face. ”Vwait. Are you-- are you cryin'?” He hasn't seen Mituna cry in.. a while. At least not since before the accident. Of course, he could make fun of him or do some other horrible bullshit but seeing this raw emotion that he hadn't seen since when he and Mituna were close combined with his intoxication made his reaction change. He gave a light pat on Mituna's shoulder that could be rendered as somewhat comforting. ”Uh. Don't-- don't cry. Vwe can, uh, get 'Tula or 'Loz an' get you outta here. Or somethin' like that.” Just because he wanted to do the right thing doesn't mean he was any good at it.

Mituna could puke just from the other’s arm around him, touch was not a thing he needed right now. It only made his head hurt and spin and make him furthermore unable to state what he needed. He sobbed harder, scrambling away from the other and swatting his arm away. ”1M N07 CRY1NG,” Mituna spoke outwardly, voice broken a little from the deep distress. He took in a deep breath, pulling off his helmet he wore almost everywhere because that was even suffocating him. As he did, a ball of curls pretty much slid out. He went to grip at said curls, not pulling, but giving his hands something to hold onto. He had flinched up at the other’s sudden comforting pat. What was Cronus doing now? Trying to get him to lower his guard just so he was easier to mess with. Of course, it worked regardless. He soon began to shake his head, fluffs of hair following the movements. ”N0- Nn0— N33D-” Deep breaths. Cool it, Mituna. ”N33D Y0U. 1— 1 N33D Y0U. 7H1NK KURL0Z D1DN7 3V3N C0M3 1N 7H3 F1R57 PL4C3.”

”You're not cryin'. Really? Cause I see your tears. You're sobbin'.” He scoffed, lightly subbing his hand on Mituna's shoulder. He couldn't help but stare at Mituna's nice curls. They were just so.. pretty. He wanted to run a hand through his hair so badly, but he abstained as to not make Mituna even more upset. ”You need.. me? Vwhat?” He tilted his head to the side, giving Mituna a confused look. ”Real funny, Tuna. Uh.. I can go an' find Latula then. I think I sawv her vwith Porrim earlier.” Cronus doesn't believe that Mituna actually wants--no–needs to be near him, so he's denying it completely.

Mituna scowled as aggressive yellowish tears flowed down his face, oddly finding comfort in the other’s hand rubbing his shoulder- more so the pattern and the motion. Focusing on that alone made his head clear up some. Back, and forth. Back, and forth— that’s all that ran through his mind. Not the music. Nothing else. Just that. He actually leaned in slightly to the hand, that was really it though. He still cried, and trembled, just not as much as before. Though his nerves began to act up again, freaking out and shaking his head no harshly to Cronus’s words- going to grip onto his arm. ”*N0*— 1- 1 N33D Y0U H3R3. H3R3 W1H7 M3. N0WH3R3 3L53.” Mituna was begging at this point, trembling lightly as he stared at the other through curly bangs that covered his freckled face for the most part. ”N07 J0K1NG.”

Cronus continued stroking his shoulder, it seemingly calming him down a little bit. He wasn't as scream-y and he even leaned into him. He was also just so.. warm compared to Cronus, it felt nice having a hand on him. ”Hey, shit. Alright, alright, fine. I ain't goin' novwhere.” While his words made him seem a bit annoyed, he couldn't help but smile a bit. It felt nice to be wanted. ”Uh.. do you vwanna head outta here? I sawv that there's a second entertainment block in this place vwhile vwanderin', an' it's dead in there. Vwe could sit in there instead of out here. It'd be, uh, quieter an' shit.” He knows the noise is getting to Mituna and this is a good fix. It gets Tuna in a better spot to calm down and they don't actually have to leave the party!

Similarly, Mituna’s thoughts were almost in tune with Cronus’s ignoring his stress the best he can. The purple-blooded troll’s hand felt slightly cold, but not unwelcome as it gently rubbed against his shoulder. It was nice, even. He didn’t get sidetracked from focusing on the pattern of the rubs though, he’d stress himself thinking about the many details of the other’s hand on his shoulder. As he heard what Cronus said, his hand slowly slipped away from his arm, nodding, noticing the,. abnormally normal smile. Bit unnoticeable, but, further comforting to Mituna. ”…*7h4nk y0u.*” The troll softly uttered, before taking the time to slowly nod. Entertainment block. It was less loud, he figured. There weren't many people in there either, he figured. So it’d be fine. Just fine. ”Y34H, uh, 3nt3rt41nm3n7 bl0ck. 50und5- 50und5 0k4y.” Mituna murmured.

He didn't respond to Mituna's little 'Thank you', but it was most definitely appreciated. Once he got Mituna's confirmation he stood himself up, dragging Tuna up with him. ”It's, uh... I sawv it just around here.” He used the hand not around Tuna to gesture in the direction of where it was and then started to walk the both of them over there. Once they got in the room he shut and locked the door behind them. It was way quieter in there, a smaller room with a few seats, tables, and a TV. Cronus flopped down onto the couch and sighed into the comfortable cushions. He didn't drag Tuna with him this time, instead opting to let him choose his own seat.

Being dragged around like a ragdoll didn’t bother Mituna too much, just going along with it and stumbling around to follow Cronus. As long as he got out of here, he didn’t really care what the other did- he was attempting to help him, after all, which was pretty rare for the other troll to do. Especially when it had been himself, out of all trolls. The curly headed nodded, not saying a word now as they made their way to the entertainment block/via living room, sucking in a few breathes here and there to remain calm. Thankfully, they had arrived there in no time- silently appreciating the fact the other closed and locked the door, therefore nobody else could come in here and get him riled up again like a few minutes ago. Looking around, Mituna took a few more breaths, opting to keep his helmet off still despite being in a more comfortable spot in the hive, and lazily making his way over to the same couch, except a few cushions away from Cronus. Silence. Just complete silence. This was genuinely a far better place than the crowded room he’d been in before. He decided to stay quiet, burying his head into his hands as he curled up some on the couch.
