You see, Peter Benjamin Parker's life was never a bed of roses.
On the same day that Peter was born he was abandoned in an alley where Richard and Maria Parker found him (Or at least that's what they made him think).
At age 4 his parents had to go on a business trip which caused his death. His aunt and uncle, May and Benjamin Parker, adopted him after the terrible accident.
At their funeral he met Norman Osborn, a friend of his parents, and Harry Osborn, who would soon become his best friend.
Years passed and Peter became friends with Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy, or just Gwen as they (Peter and Harry) called her. He met her on a day when he went to the police station with his uncle, since he had to work but had no one to take care of him, Captain George Stacy had also brought his daughter that day.
At the age of nine, Peter went on an excursion to the Oscorp company where Peter ended up getting lost and being bitten by a radioactive spider.
He became very sick because of the spider, to the point where he almost died, but when he got better he realized that he no longer needed glasses and no longer had asthma, in addition to having super powers.
Peter had a hard time pretending that everything was normal (Mainly because of his super strength, rip bathroom handle 😔) but he soon managed to get fake lenses to put in his glasses and also got the hang of pretending that he still had asthma.
Well, then he started testing his powers to better understand the problem? He started missing classes for this reason. Yes, it wasn't Peter's most brilliant idea but he already knew everything the teachers were saying. He just hasn't skipped series yet because he doesn't want to be away from Gwen and Harry.
After a few days of missing school, the school called Uncle Ben who confronted him about it. They had a big fight, Peter ran out of the house in anger and went to a store not far from the house. A thief appeared and started robbing the store, Peter could try to stop the thief but there was a high chance of being shot and Peter didn't want to test his luck. The moment the thief left Peter noticed Ben getting out of his car on the other side of the street.
The thief tried to steal Ben's car while Ben was trying to talk to him (Damn, Ben, why do you always have to try to give moral lessons?!) but during their argument the thief pulled the trigger and shot Ben.
("No, no, no, no, no, you're going to be fine Ben! You're not going to... you can't-"
"Pete, tell May I love her..."
"No! You can tell her that after you get better!"
"And I want you to know that I love you as if you were my own son..."
"Ben, stop! You're trying too hard! You just need to- you just need to stay awake until the ambulance arrives!..."
"So I want you to remember that with great power comes great responsibility..."
"Ben, stop it! The ambulance will be here soon!"
"..."
Peter, in his despair, realizes that he is no longer listening to Ben's heart.
"Ben...?" Peter says, his voice no more than a whisper. He touches Ben's wrist and... Nothing... He has no pulse... "BEN!!"
Peter's sobs tear through the cold silence of the night.)
After that terrible night Peter realized that with his powers he could save lives ("with great power comes great responsibility"), not like the Avengers who just save the earth from extremely evil villains who want and can destroy the world, but save people from minor criminals and villains.
With that, Spider-Man was born.
In the first few months Peter fought against normal thieves (as he was a beginner he received many stab wounds and several gunshots).
Gwen ended up finding out it was him in the third month she took on the role of Spider-Man. (How the hell did she do that?! He even put a voice changer in his outfit!)
He only had real complications after starting his internship at Oscorp.
Mr. Osborn managed to get him to intern with Dr. Otto Gunther Octavius. At first Peter thought he was a good guy who just wanted to do good... But Peter was wrong, and Peter regretted trusting him. (Octavius tried to kill Peter with the prosthetics that Peter himself helped him build !)
He had to fight Octavius which caused a lot of destruction. (Seriously. How are these prosthetics so strong?! He built them just to help people!) During the fight a child was almost crushed into a building but Captain Stacy saved her but Captain Stacy lost his life in the process. ("Peter, please protect Gwen... ")
After Octavius he became an intern for someone else: Dr. Curt Connors.
Honestly, Peter should have predicted it when he saw that his “good” motivations were almost the same as Octavius'. (He tried to kill Peter again with his own creation! What's his problem?!)
He turned 10!
Then he stopped interning at Osborn because, honestly, he didn't think he could handle another invention of his going bad so soon.
He continued fighting normal thieves, sometimes fighting Dr. Octopus or the Green Goblin. In general, everything was normal. It's not even normal anymore.
Gwen decided that she would help him in this fight and didn't take no for an answer.
("Gwen, your father told me to take care of you remember?" Peter said sternly "I can't protect you if you're in the fight."
"But P-Spider-Man has people in danger and both you and I know that the bomb needs to be turned off and we both also know that you won't be able to do that during the fight, which leaves only me to turn it off. ."
"Gwen-"
"No, I'll help, whether you want it or not.")
Everything happened so fast: one moment he's fighting the Green Goblin the next he's holding a dead Gwen in his arm begging her not to leave him. ("Please, Please, Gwen, wake up, you can't do this to me! Wake up! Come on! Please-...!")
11 years old is his age now.
Harry, Mr Osborn and May were all he had left. He had no one else.
It seemed like nothing could get worse. It seemed
The Green Goblin revealed himself to be none other than Mr. Osborn. And not only that, he revealed the truth behind Peter's powers.
Apparently his father was part of an experiment. The experiment was a kind of version of the super soldier serum. His father's DNA was modified to adapt to the serum but it didn't work. They needed someone to be born with this DNA to be able to make a new super soldier.
And born, this was Peter but, knowing that Peter would become an experiment, they hid the truth by saying that Peter was adopted.
After a few years the company began to be investigated so they decided to get rid of the evidence.
(The plane crash was not an accident.)
In that same battle Osborn ended up dying. His own gun killed him.
Harry began to hate Spider-Man because he thought he was the one who killed his father.
...
...He still had May and Harry. As much as Harry unconsciously hated him...
Time passed, Peter continued fighting the usual villains.
Peter was hoping that everything would get better, until-...
...Harry discovered his identity...
...Harry has gone mad...
...Harry died and the new Green Goblin was born...
...Now Peter only had May...
...12 years...
Peter was smart enough to be able to skip all the grades at his school. He would even go to college but he couldn't leave May or the city alone. Especially not when he found out that May has cancer.
Peter continued to be Spider-Man but now spent less time as Spider-Man as he now needed to work to help May.
13 years
May died shortly after Peter revealed his identity to her... She... She said she was proud of him...
Peter kind of ran away from guardianship council and is now homeless. On the bright side, he found a perfect abandoned building to live in.
He started working at a coffee shop a few months after May's death. He works with a girl named Michelle Jones who is almost always accompanied by a boy named Edward Leeds. He actually avoids talking to them because they remind him so much of Gwen and Harry...
He has improved a lot in in combat and almost never comes home stabbed or shot.
14 years
Nicholas Joseph Fury, aka the fucking director of S.H.I.E.L.D, visited Peter at his work. Apparently he wanted Peter to become an AVENGER?! Of course Peter accepted, duh.
