Back at Black Hat’s manor Flug was working as expected, fixing any bugs from the device he had. When he checked the time he noticed that he was passed the deadline which normally would cause Black Hat to rage a bit. He knew something was wrong instantly by this. The scientist pulled out the phone that was ringing and answer. "Slug what's wrong?" Flug left the lab, looking around the manor. "White Hat’s gone missing? Well I believe Black Hat did as well. Meet me up here." Flug hung up afterward and went to Dementia when he found her. He walked over quickly. The chaotic person she was, surprisingly and seemingly panicked. She noticed Flug and stared at him. "Dementia, have you seen Black Hat?" He figured that she would know, considering how she is. "No I haven't. I was looking for him!" She frowned and left the room to continue looking. Flug figured to check the office one more time or knock on Black Hat’s bedroom door. He never liked the consequences of that. He sighed.
5.0.5 heard a knock at the door and looked to see who it was. Once he saw it was Slug, the loveable bear led the male to Flug. 5.0.5 walked away when he got Flug’s attention to Slug. Neither scientist said anything yet and walked to the lab. Slug was the first of the two to say anything. "How long has Black Hat been missing do you think?" Slug paused. "White Hat hasn't been at the manor for the whole day now. Normally when he leaves, he'd leave some sort of note." He looked at Flug who didn't have a answer really. He sort of just looked at Slug which said it all basically.
This was getting nothing but Flug figured to mention something that might help. He pulled out a wrinkled up letter from his lab coat pocket. "I found this in Jefecito's office, but the language isn't really one I know of." He looked around the lab. "If we could translate it we might find out what's going on. It seems like a recent letter too." Flug had pointed out and had an idea that it might be a reason or something that neither Black Hat or White Hat was present. The problem to solution would take a whole to do and it'll be a lot of time wasted.
The two knew this was going to be tiring but began to work. The only reason they'd figure that Slug was wrong was that blneither eldritch would just disappear odd the face of the Earth and not come back, not when things are not boring to at least Black Hat. White Hat also wouldn't leave without saying anything about it and coming back without much of a problem. Neither though would take long if they left the manor. As much as Flug hated how he is treated by Black Hat, he's his boss. He also supposedly cared enough to help if needed not like he needed to before. He just did his job after all. Flug sighed and got back on track of what he needed to do while Slug worked on translating the letter. This all was quite weird to the least but it felt off that this was happening almost like it was a trap or tragedy that was starting to play. The male groaned at his own thoughts.
Slug on the otherhand barely got far in the translation process but what he got so far was progress. He muttered quickly underneath his breath as he worked. His complete concentration was on this....

White Hat was the first of the two to gain consciousness, he was groggy and confused on what happened. He looked up and noticed the room he was in. A living room and Black Hat was there still knocked out. He stood up slightly wobbly and went over to his brother. "Black Hat wake up." He hesitated but pushed Black Hat off the surface of the place he was on. That got Black Hat up and he stood up, shooting an angered stare at the other. This only led Black Hat to pause and noticed the room. "What the fuck?" He was just as confused as White Hat. They both looked over at the sound of a door opening.
