Chapter Text

Leo didn’t know what he was doing here. Well never mind, he did know, he was here to keep watch of his brothers to make sure they weren’t getting into to much trouble. But all in the end, he truly didn’t know what he was doing here.

He wouldn’t have come if it wasn’t for his brothers though.

His brothers who left him.

Alone.

In a room that was crowded and the music was too loud where it felt it screeching into his ear, but not loud enough to drown out the many, many conversations that was happening all around him. If Leo did have ears he thinks he would have ripped them out by now.

If it wasn’t for Mikey gaining the inventation and then dad to say ‘If you want to go then convince your brothers to go as well’. And well, who could say no to Mikey. Not Leo sadly.

He tried to get April to come along wanting to have at least one person to hang out with but she had some type of family event or something which that leaves Leo here. Trying to calm down his heavy breathing and wiping away his sweaty hands.

His brothers seem to be having fun, which to Leo means that it is worth it. But right now in this point of time, he would rather anything than being stuck here.

A hand grabs his arm and it takes anything in his power to not flip the person over with how much panic strikes through him. But he did snap his head up so hard he swears he could hear his neck pop.

The hand hurries up and drags him through the party of crowded people. The person was speaking but Leos mind was blanking them out. His body was touching so many others while passing by. The grip on his arm was to tight, his breathing was coming out faster, he couldn’t hear.

Leo some how misses all of the chaotic noises around him, it at least grounded him.

What did snap him out of it was when he was pushed into a chair, which when his vision focuses back on he realizes who he was with. He was surrounded by kids in his chemistry class, who he was doing lab with at the moment. The person was still holding onto his arm, and looking over he could see that it was Henry who dragged him through the crowd.

Sitting down at the table did help a little though, he was able to focus on their conversation instead of all the muddled noises with everyone else. They were sharing stupid videos and talking shit about classmates, and Leo just sat there, not trusting talking just yet, in case his voice starts to shake.

But even though he can focus the noises down to one point he still was overstimulated. Henry was still holding onto him, and it was starting to feel so compressed. It felt as though even though it was his arm he could feel him grasping his chest. The smell of Izzy’s pizza but then Jeba’s fries all mixed together made his stomach twist. He could feel Franks arm touch his every time he made an exaggerated movement and it felt like he was being stabbed wherever it touched.

Leo could feel his breathing pick up once more, but he couldn’t stop it. He tried to tap his leg in the pattern that calmed him down but that didn’t work either. He must have jinxed himself when he said that the group was helping him calm down with the noise, because now they were speaking over each other asking if he was okay.

He wasn’t.

Why did he come?

He couldn’t stand this.

He had to-

As soon as he felt Henry’s grip leave his arm, he basically shoved his chair back and left as fast as he could. He shoved his way through the crowd only managing small ‘excuse me’s before getting to the front of the building and slamming the door open.

He barely got into a small alleyway before everything emptied out of his stomach. He didn’t know how long it took to get everything out but once he was done he sat on the opposite side of the alleyway and put his shell on the wall.

He still felt horrible and a headache started to come on. His over-stimulation still buzzing all over his body making him feel the need to move every limb but also feel as though he has no energy to even lift up a cup. But it was easier to get a grip onto reality outside, feeling a cool breeze every once in a while but also the shade and darkness of the alleyway brought him comfort.

Hiding in the shadows. How ironic.

Leo was about to pull out his phone to text his brothers to tell them that he was going to wait outside for when they were done, but paused once he heard sounds of footsteps. It wasn't just one though, it was multiple. The thing that made him suspicious about them though was that he probably wouldn’t have heard them if it wasn’t for his head spiking in pain at everything he heard within what felt a five mile radius.

He stilled once he heard them stop. Leo didn’t know what to do, if he ignored them and acted like he couldn’t hear them, then maybe they would leave him be. He wasn’t in a good state to fight, with the reminisce of puke still in his mouth and his brothers still in the party.

Leo knew what he had to choose though, he had to ready himself. Either these people are here for a fight or he is going to make himself look stupid, but at least he could take in the little protection he had with this option. He slowly but steadily started getting himself back up trying but failing to seem stable. When he turned back around after facing the wall he was met with what he supposed to be his enemies.

There seemed to be about a dozen of ninjas surrounding him and he knew his fight or flight senses were kicking off because god he wanted to run. But that would leave these men to his brothers, and other innocent kids, but mainly Leo’s brothers and he cannot let that happen without knowing how much skills these people possess.

He was the one who started off the fight by surprising the ninja next to him, grabbing his arm and using his little strength to slam his body into the wall behind them, stunning him to quickly grab the man's bo staff. Though its usually Donnie's weapon Leo knew some of it.

Twisting around to wack the attacker coming from behind but having to twist again to the other side to stop an attack from a odachi and Leo had to use a lot of his energy to push the man back, though it must have took too much time as he felt a slash in his arm.

Without having time to look at the wound and having to quickly avoid another hit from so many weapons and people and Leo felt dizzy from how much he was having to move. It was obvious Leo did not have the upper hand and was going to loose in time. But if Leo lost right away then he knew his brothers would not let it go and probably become worse than the ‘Nardo’ joke.

As he expected he was knocked down from a hit in the head from behind him, how someone got there he didn’t know. His vision blurred and his body gave out underneath him. Caching himself on his hands and knees on the ground, so he didn’t completely face-plant but he could feel bile rise again, before he swallowed it down.

Two ninjas grabbed his shoulders and shoved him against the brick wall making his vision blur once more and he felt metal wrap around his wrists.

Great, Leo though, handcuffs

He tried to get the hands off his shoulders with the little energy he had left but was pushed back once more, the way to show him that he is truly overpowered and had to no way out.

Looking around at the mess of the fight, Leo decided that he did pretty good. There are at least three bodies laid unconscious and a couple who are clearly in pain. Leo definitely felt the pain that was put on him. With his adrenaline calming down he felt his legs in pain, as they got a couple good hits on his knees, shins and ankles. One of the ninja’s is definitely holding his shoulder way to tightly and Leo could tell that is going to bruise. The handcuffs are way to tight and are already rubbing against his skin. His chest hurts to breath, though Leo doesn’t know if that is from being attacked or his freak out. While Leo can still feel a lazy stream of blood come down from his cut on his arm earlier.

Though like in every cliche movie, the big bad guy came out with heavy footsteps.

Leo could only hold his breath in anticipation.

And did this guy look badass.

Raph would be so jealous of his outfit with how many weapons he had on it, Leo knew that if he ever gets a chance to see, he will be screaming out of excitement.

But Leo is not, Leo is terrified because this means nothing good in the moment and he is screwed.

“Clearly, this one is mutant number two, I thought I was told that at least two of the mutants would be out here.” His voice was gruff, and god he really was the final boss, how was Leo supposed to defeat him.

But this brings him a sort of calmness as well. This man sounds as though he doesn't know where Leo’s brothers are, so if Leo could lead him away they should be safe.

“They’re inside the building in a party, Master Shredder,” Said the ninja holding Leo’s left shoulder.

“Oh come on, you really had to sni-” Leo was interrupted by the ninja on the right pressing down on his bleeding arm trying to hold in the wounded noise he made.

Though the ‘Shredder’ man only seemed to nod his head as he turned to the building.

“Right, clearly to busy, we can’t steal them in clear sight,” As he turned back to Leo, “What should we do with you then?”

And Leo could feel the sickness and dread come back. Right. He’s trapped. To do what this man wanted with him. Did Leo have a concussion because he doesn’t know how he forgot that part.

“Utrom will not be impressed if I only bring back one of them, so clearly that will not do.” He started walking closer to Leo where he is able to see the little of his face is shown. His eyebrows brought down, clearly in thought.

Leo swallowed down his anxiety trying to appear strong, trying to bring in fight when the Shredder gripped his face. That didn’t stop Leo though, as he tried anything in his power to get away.

“Utrom, you’re, um, you’re working for her?” Leo got out in a mushed mess, clearly failing at keeping the panic out of his tone.

“You do seem to be a pretty intelligent, and powerful creature, hm?” He moved down from Leo’s face to grip onto different spots of his arms, not caring for the bruises or open wounds. “Durability must be great with your shell. It would be great to have you as one of the foot. A strong nin-”

“I’m not going to help someone who is trying to hurt my family.” Leo interrupted. The shredders brow furrow deeper.

“Well then you can be a message to your family,” He spat out like the word was disgusting. Lifting himself up to face the rest of the ninjas. “You will keep him alive,” He stated, “But make sure he will regret waking up, make sure that his family will understand we will be greater than them any day.”

Leo didn’t get much of a say before he could see the Shredder walk away and leave him here, to be knocked out against the brick wall behind him.
