And They Were Roommates

Summary:

Stiles doesn't want to live with his dad with Melissa now moving in. Cue him convincing Derek they should live together and shenanigans ensue. Which leads to romance. Somehow.

Notes:

Okay, this was honestly supposed to be just silly fun leading to them getting together. Somehow ended up with some serious elements. Stiles puts up with Derek being a Martyr and Derek puts up with Stiles being a little shit.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“You’re probably wondering what brought me here,” Stiles starts, sitting on the couch and staring at the older man who is sitting across from him in the armchair.

“No shit. You barged in here and kept yelling my name until I came out of my room.” Derek rolled his eyes.

“How else was I supposed to get you out here quicker?” He shrugged. “Anyways! I have a problem.”

“And I care, why?” Derek scowled, looking ready to throw Stiles out on his ass.

“Because, when I have a problem, you have a problem. I’m not stupid, big guy. You care way more than you let on.” He wags a finger at him teasingly. “Now, back to the main point. Dad and Melissa have been dating for a while, to the point it is clear they will want to move in together.”

“And nothing wrong with that at all! Except I’m broke as fuck and can’t afford a place yet. At least, not on my own and in this economy.” He shoots finger guns at Derek. “That’s where you come in.”

“Is this you asking if you can live here because Isaac moved out?” Derek raised an unimpressed eyebrow.

“Yes, yes it is.” He blinks. “Is it working?”

“Depends,” Derek smirks. “What do I get in return?”

“Uh, money?” Stiles huffs. “I’m willing to pay rent, just. It might not be a lot.”

Derek rolls his eyes at Stiles, softening his look at the nervous man across from him. “I’m not going to make you pay rent. Just contribute around here and we’re good.”

“Wait, so you’re okay with this?” Stiles straightens up, looking excited.

“Like I said, what’s in it for me?” Derek chuckles at the whine it gets from Stiles.

“I would offer undying servitude, but we both know I am way too opinionated for that.” Stiles looks off to the side and thinks for a moment. “How about a roommate that not only can cook, but clean and compliment you every two seconds because they have no filter and you’re hot.”

“I’ll take the cooking and cleaning part, compliments you can keep to yourself.” Derek stands up. “Feel free to move in whenever. Isaac’s stuff is all out.”

“Then consider the compliments a tip,” he snickers, standing up and bouncing forward to hug Derek. The older man growls, trying to get out of it, but Stiles just squeezes tighter. “We both know I won’t let go until you either hug me back or surrender.”

“I’m going to regret this, aren’t I?” Derek mutters, relaxing into the hug.

“Yes, yes you are.” Stiles cackles as he runs out, going back home to finish packing up the last little bit.

He knew Derek would cave in, the man has a heart of gold and wants to help everyone. It also helps that he has never said no to Stiles unless his life was in danger. He knew the older man had a weak spot for him and he had no issues exploiting it. On small things only though, never things he knew would make Derek uncomfortable. Except for this instance, but he had a feeling Derek would totally be fine with it.

“Stiles?” He heard his dad ask from the doorway. “What are you doing?”

“Finishing packing up,” He stood up from under his desk, having unplugged everything for his computer. “Should be all moved out in the next couple of hours.”

“You’re moving out?” His dad asked quietly. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I did, though?” Stiles chuckled at his dad's confused look. “The other night, I mentioned I was planning on it.”

“Planning to and actually doing it are two completely different things,” his dad huffed. “Where are you going?”

“Oh, just to Derek’s. Isaac moved out to live with Scott so he offered up his free room.” Stiles shrugged, sighing at the raised eyebrow he got from his dad. “Okay, I asked.”

His dad crossed his arms, staring his son down. “Okay, fine. I stated my case about why I should move in and he agreed.”

“I’m calling Derek.” His dad turned, walking out of the room and ignoring Stiles’ protests behind him. Stiles just huffed, going back to pack up the last of his things. He knew Derek wouldn’t say anything against it to his dad, probably he’d find it more amusing than anything.

He grunted as he stood up, feeling his phone go off in his pocket. Quickly checking it, he noticed it was a text from Derek. ‘I’m telling him you forced me.’

‘I will make your life a living hell. There will be pink everywhere.’ He texted back, smirking as he finished packing things up and started moving things to the jeep. After getting a few things packed into the back, he slowly realized how little he really had. Two suitcases full of clothes, two boxes that had all the nicknacks and posters from his room, and then finally the box with all his computer stuff.

“That everything?” His dad asked from the porch.

“Yup! Your baby is finally leaving the nest. Ready to spread his wings and fly. Conquer the world.” He laughed at the fond eye roll he got in return, his dad coming over to hug him, his arms squeezing the life out of him.

“I'm only moving across town,” Stiles squeezed him back.

“Like you said, my baby is leaving. Let me have it.” Noah mutters. “I’ll miss you, kiddo.”

“I’ll miss you too,” he gives one final squeeze. “But don’t think this is you getting rid of me for good. I will still bug you all the time.”

“Good, now go before that poor boy starts wondering if you changed your mind.” His dad ruffles his hair, watching as his kid climbs into the car.

Living with Derek is actually pretty easy. Stiles is up and out of the house pretty early to go to work and when he gets home, it’s usually to dinner already being made. Derek has seemed to claim weekdays and Stiles claimed weekends. They fell into an easy rhythm and Stiles loved it.

Though there were times when they argued more than usual. Usually after dealing with the newest threat. They pissed each other off by either not following the plan, Derek, or putting themselves in harm's way. Totally just Derek, not at all Stiles as much as the older of the two seems to think.

It was after one such case where Derek didn’t stick to Stiles’ plan and almost lost his arm for it that shit hit the proverbial fan. Stiles was giving Derek the silent treatment and Derek wasn’t relenting. So, being the petty man he was, he started slowly changing out some of Derek’s ‘house decor.’ Meaning the bare minimum he kept around.

He was honestly surprised when it took three days for Derek to notice the changes, Stiles was not subtle at all. So, when he’s sitting in the kitchen, drinking his coffee, he’s a little surprised when he hears Derek growl out his name.

“Stiles, why the hell are there dinosaurs everywhere?” Derek stalks into the kitchen. “Better yet, where is the bowl Lydia got for the dining table?”

Stiles just stares him down as he takes a slow drink of his coffee, not bothering to respond. It frustrates Derek even more, which amuses the human greatly. The werewolf can clearly scent that though and it pisses him off even more.

“Stiles,” Derek growls, eyes turning red.

“Nice try, buddy. We both know the alpha mumbo jumbo doesn’t work on me.” Stiles smirked. “We both know what I want, so surrender your fate and let it happen or more of your shit will go missing.”

Stiles gently set his empty coffee cup down in the sink, moving until he is standing chest to chest with Derek. “And FYI, the red-eye thing? Doesn’t scare me, it turns me on.”

He walks around Derek and goes back to his room, cackling when Derek yells his name again, running into his room and locking the door. The best part about this is Stiles keeps all of his things in his room, which has a mountain ash line to keep Derek specifically out. For now, at least. So the more he swaps out, Derek can’t even retaliate.

“Why are there dinosaurs everywhere?” Isaac asks when he comes to hang out with Derek. Stiles, who has his bedroom door open as a taunt, snorts.

“Because Stiles is a child who refuses to apologize,” Derek responds.

“I’m not the one who needs to apologize,” Stiles hums, scrolling through Amazon for more dinosaur-themed things.

“Says the one who put himself in danger to prove a point,” Derek yells back.

“Funny, if you’d just followed the plan, no one would have gotten hurt.” He shoots back.

“Dear lord, is it really a good idea for you two to live together? This is childish.” Isaac groans.

“He’s not going anywhere,” Derek growls out. Stiles blinks, looking up. He sets his laptop off to the side and makes his way out of his room, finding a red-faced Derek and Isaac leaving the loft looking fed up.

“Wanna talk about that one?” Stiles asks gently.

“Oh, now we’re talking?” Derek snaps. Stiles raises an eyebrow, shaking his head before going back to his room.

“When you’re ready, you know my door is open.” He says over his shoulder.

“Oh, yeah. So easy to come talk when you have a mountain ash line.” Derek growls again. “Fuck this.”

He hears the loft door slam shut as Derek leaves. Stiles slowly blinks, sighing. Looks like he’d have to be the one to end this feud. He might have gone a bit too far though, so now he just feels bad. After getting rid of all the dinosaurs and putting Derek’s things back, he goes back to his room and gets rid of the mountain ash line. Not like he needs it anymore with everything back out in the open.

About an hour later his phone rings and he picks it up without looking at the name. “Roadkill cafe. You kill ‘em, we grill ‘em. How well do you want it done?”

“Well done after the shit you pulled,” Cora’s voice sounds pissed.

“Oh no, he went to bitch to you, huh?” Stiles pauses his show, debating on going to get a snack.

“You replaced his things because he didn’t do what you wanted?” He can hear how pissed off she is and rolls his eyes.

“No, I replaced his things because I wanted him to apologize for getting himself hurt yet again. And because I wanted to see how long it took him to notice.” He shrugs, getting up to go into the kitchen.

It’s silent on the other end for a bit as he pulls out a bag of chips and heads back to his room. “How long?”

“Three days,” he says around a mouth full of chips.

“Jesus, that long?” She laughs lightly.

“I wasn’t even subtle.” He snorts.

“Just go easy on him,” Cora sighs. “He’s upset because he didn’t want you getting hurt.”

“Yup, and we all know why, but he needs to learn to trust me.” He says, fishing for the reason why Derek gets like this with only him. He knows there is a reason, but everyone is cagey and won’t tell him.

“Can you blame him? His anchor was in danger.” She groans on her end. “It’s a little funny watching him go crazy over you.”

“Huh,” Stiles blinks. “Anchor?”

It's silent on the other end before she lets out a long groan. “You ass, if you tell him I'm the one that told you, I will make your death long and painful.”

“No worries, I didn’t want to jump to conclusions, but I had a feeling.” He snorts, shoving more chips in his mouth. He faintly makes out the sound of the door sliding open. He abruptly hangs up, texting Cora that Derek has come back and she sends him a long string of violent emojis.

He turns his show back on, letting Derek do what he needs to do. It didn’t take him long though, the alpha showed up at his door, snorting in amusement when Stiles shoved more food in his mouth.

“Cute,” Derek teases weakly. Stiles wiggles his eyebrows and that seems to be all Derek needs as he comes in and crawls on the bed, laying his head in Stiles’ lap.

“I’m sorry,” the alpha mutters. Stiles hums, swallowing what’s in his mouth as he runs his fingers through Derek’s hair.

“I’m sorry too,” Stiles said gently. “For the pranks at least. Not for getting mad at you.”

He felt the older man tense up under him. “Derek, I need you to listen to me. I had everything under control in that fight. There was a mountain ash line at my feet, I wasn’t going to be hurt.”

“I know,” Derek whispered. “But I just saw it going towards you and panicked.”

“I know,” Stiles scratched at Derek’s scalp, feeling him relax again. “Hard to watch as your anchor is in danger, huh?”

And he tensed up again, pulling a chuckle from Stiles. “Relax, sourwolf. It’s fine.”

“Is it?” He pushes up, pulling a whine from the human.

“Fine, great even. Now come back here.” He pats his lap. When Derek doesn’t come back though, Stiles rolls his eyes and pushes himself up, crawling into the older man's lap. Derek’s eyes widen as Stiles gets comfortable and drapes himself over the werewolf’s shoulders.

“Like I said, it’s fine. More than fine.” He turns and does his best to mimic scenting Derek, who growls and holds him close as he returns the act. Stiles feels content, loving the attention as Derek lays him back on the bed and covers him with his own body.

Stiles wiggles a bit, trying to grab his laptop so he can see the screen while Derek growls at him. “Shush, let me just- Aha! Got it, okay you’re good.” He settles, running his fingers through the alpha’s hair as he gets back into his show.

Derek shifts his head until he’s also looking at the screen. Neither of them mentioned anything else that night, but they both knew they were good now.

Derek is sitting on the couch, reading a book, when Stiles comes home after a shift one day. It was a shitty day, some older dude not understanding how it took time to special order the flowers he wanted. Which led to him being yelled at for no good reason.

Not taking the time to think about it any longer, he kicked off his shoes and padded over to the couch. He flopped down on it, laying his head in Derek’s lap and hiding his face in his stomach.

“I hate people,” he whines.

“Who do I need to kill?” Derek didn’t even hesitate, pulling a bark of laughter out of the human.

“Everyone, world annihilation.” Stiles pulled back a bit and smiled up at the older man.

“Might take some time, you good if we order food while we plot?” Derek set his book aside, giving Stiles his undivided attention.

“Chinese?” Stiles wiggled, moving until he was sat up in Derek’s lap instead.

“Sesame chicken, right?” Derek pulled out his phone, dialing their usual place.

“Yes, please.” He tried to wait patiently as Derek ordered, but he ended up nuzzling into the man’s neck, wanting to hide from the stupid people of the world.

“Stiles,” he chuckled as he hung up.

“Cuddle me, asshole.” He mutters.

“And how exactly do I cuddle you more?” Derek gestures to their position.

“Don’t question, just cuddle.” Stiles mutters, getting a snort from the werewolf. For not knowing what more to do, he seems to do a great job at tugging Stiles a little closer and holding him tight. He feels safe and content to the point he starts to drift off.

“So,” Derek starts, waking Stiles up a bit. “How would you feel about us having our dinner tonight, but not as friends?”

Stiles blinks awake in sleepy confusion. “As enemies?”

“What? No. Jesus, Stiles.” Derek lets out an exasperated sigh. “As is a date. I am asking you on a date.”

“Oh,” Stiles settles back down. “‘Bout damn time. I was only waxing poetics about your very fine ass for two years.”

“That’s only about appearance Stiles.” Derek sounds grumpy. “You and I both know there is more to a relationship than that.”

“No shit,” he mutters, still so content and sleepy. “But if I started talking about your personality, then it would take weeks, maybe months, for me to get through my list.”

“List?” Derek questions quietly. Stiles grumbles, pulling out his phone, squinting at the screen as he goes to his notes, giving Derek his phone. “Behold, the ‘why Derek Hale is too good for the world’ list.”

Derek is silent as he reads, which lulls Stiles back into a light doze. He whines when there is a knock at the door and Derek has to get up and get their delivery. Stiles sleepily sits up, loving and hating the food delivery.

Derek places the bags of food on the coffee table and quickly unpacks it all and pulls the coffee table right up to the couch before sitting back down and pulling Stiles back into his side. Stiles couldn’t help the grin as Derek reached around him to pick up the remote and their food, letting Stiles pick the movie.

“You’re spoiling me,” Stiles teased.

“If you think this is spoiling you, then you’re in for a surprise.” Derek chuckled.

They eat their food, Stiles commenting on the movie every so often, but he’s mostly content to just lay there and bask in Derek's cuddles. It might not be everyone’s ideal date, there’s no making out or canoodling, but it’s perfect for the two of them. When Stiles starts dozing off again, Derek picks him up and brings him to his room.

“Night, Stiles.” The werewolf whispers, kissing his forehead before retreating, closing the door softly behind him.

“Yo, why are there unicorns everywhere?” Erica asked randomly.

They had decided to have a pack night at the loft, wanting to get together for a fun and happy event. Not because some threat was looming over them. The only place that was big enough to house them all was Derek’s loft, and the soon-to-be home Derek was secretly building. Silly man thought he could keep it a secret from Stiles.

“What?” Derek asked slowly, turning from where he was in the kitchen to look. Erica pointed to the bookshelf. Where once stood a mask gifted by Peter, now held a ceramic unicorn.

“Stiles!” Derek roared. Said man, who had quietly stood up and almost made it to his room, booked it the last little distance, leaping over the mountain ash line. Derek stood in the doorway, looking annoyed and slightly pissed off.

“Now, now. All of your belongings are perfectly safe.” Stiles points over to the dresser Derek can see, which has a whole bunch of nicknacks on it.

“When the hell did you get all those,” Derek asks in confusion, looking less annoyed and more amused.

“For the past week, I have been collecting. And before that, two weeks of plotting.” Stiles staples his fingers in front of him. “You remember the reason this happened last time, correct?”

“I pissed you off,” he mutters, looking at the ground in confusion. He eventually looks up, still very confused. “I honestly don’t know what I did.”

“No, no. It’s what you didn’t do.” Stiles pouts. Derek slowly blinks before chuckling suddenly.

“Stiles, break the line.” He crosses his arms, giving the human a fond smile. Which, how dare he look that friggin cute. Still pouting, he breaks the line and watches as Derek steps into the room and closes the door.

“You know,” Derek steps closer, smiling at the younger man. “You could have just asked for a kiss like a normal person.”

“You’re supposed to know what I want, oh great alpha.” Stiles says sarcastically. Derek stops, raising an eyebrow at him. “Okay, I take it back. Don’t punish me because I was being dumb.”

Derek snorts, shaking his head fondly as he grabs Stiles’ waist and pulls him close. “You’re a brat.”

“Yes, yes I am.” He nods, grinning at Derek like a fool. “But you want me anyways.”

“‘Course I do,” the alpha mutters, leaning in and brushing his nose up against Stiles’. “You’re perfect.”

“Um,” Stiles goes to interrupt, but Derek leans in and kisses him. He melts, loving how gently he’s being held and the soft kisses he gets. He feels a little bad though when all he can start thinking about is how much he’d love to feel Derek’s beard in between his legs.

“Down boy,” Derek chuckles as he pulls back.

“I can’t help it!” Stiles whines. “You’re too hot!”

“You are too,” Derek smirks. “You just can’t smell my arousal.”

“Oh my god, is that why Jackson looked constipated and Boyd kept giving you the side eye?” He started giggling. Derek just rolled his eyes and kissed Stiles quickly again.

“Yes, everyone there seems to think us becoming a thing is hopeless. Jackson’s annoyed because we both smell aroused a lot and Boyd is worried I’m upset.” He shrugs.

“Wait, they all know when I am?” He whines.

“Stiles,” Derek raised an eyebrow. “You got turned on the other day when Erica lifted up the couch to vacuum under it.”

“It was hot! I am a simple man!” He laughs, wrapping his arms around Derek’s neck. “But don’t worry, boo. You’re the only one for me.”

“I'm fine with it, just know you’re not allowed to do anything about it.” Derek nuzzled into the side of his head.

“I would never, I hit the jackpot with you. Pretty, nice, and a bit of an asshole? No one else could compare.” He can’t help the giggle when Derek nuzzles, his beard tickling him. “Stop that.”

He could feel the older man smirk as he just nuzzled more, pulling another laugh from Stiles. He tried to wiggle out of his grip, but the ass used being a werewolf against him and managed to pin him to the bed. This goes on for a bit, Stiles trying to break free while laughing and Derek chuckling along as well as he torments his boyfriend.

“Well, definitely not death.” Lydia mused from the doorway. The two stopped, Derek looking like a deer caught in headlights while Stiles still giggled a little. “I have to say, this is an interesting way to fight.”

“Not a fight,” Stiles managed to say. “He’s just being a butt.”

“Oh?” She gave them a smug smile. “It looked like Derek was ready to murder you before he closed the door.”

“Nah, my honey bunny would never hurt me.” He coos, yelping when Derek pokes his side, starting up another round of giggles. “No, wait! I surrender!”

“Brat,” Derek leans in, freezing when he gets close before glaring over his shoulder. “Do you mind?”

“On, no. Please, go ahead.” Lydia smirked.

“No, no. If you stop him from kissing me, I will get my revenge. Even if it’s you, Lydia.” Stiles scowls.

“Fine! You have five more minutes while we finish making snacks, then you better be out there.” She pauses just before she closes the door. “I will send Erica in.”

“Five minutes, got it. Now get!” Stiles shoos her and when the door closes he taps Derek’s shoulder. “And now you get on with the smooching.”

“So romantic,” Derek deadpanned. But it was ruined by him leaning down and kissing Stiles. It also didn’t help when Stiles kept smiling, making it hard for them to kiss. Thankfully though, Derek is a patient man and switched to leaving a kiss on his temple before cuddling in.

“Such a suck,” Stiles grins. He plays with the back of Derek’s hair a bit. “We should go out there.”

“Fine,” Derek pushes himself up, hauling Stiles up and over his shoulder. He laughs, smacking Derek’s ass before being thrown on the cushion pile on the floor that Stiles always dubs as his. He barely gets settled before Derek flops down on top of him, wiggling around until his back is to Stiles’ chest.

“Let’s get this party started!” Stiles claps, wrapping his arms around Derek’s shoulders. It’s silent though and the movie doesn’t start. He feels, more than hears, Derek groan, so he leans in to whisper in his ear. “They’re staring, aren’t they?”

“Yes,” Derek grumbles.

“If the movie doesn’t start in the next fifteen seconds, you all will have to deal with worse than me replacing some items in your house.” Stiles smirks, nuzzling into Derek’s hair. Man, the guy has some nice smelling shampoo.

“No?” Stiles muses, pulling out his phone, and swiping to his blackmail list. “Shall we talk about how pretty Jackson looks in yellow?”

Stiles scrolls to the photo of Jackson in a yellow sundress, Danny off to the side. Derek snorts, turning quickly to hide his face in Stiles’ shoulder. The rest of the pack looks confused as Jackson leaps over Lydia to grab the remote and starts the movie that was queued up.

“I don’t know how you got that, but I will delete it.” He seethes.

“Good luck, buttercup.” Stiles smirks. “Derbear, if Jackson gets anywhere close to my things, you’ll tell me, right?”

Derek hums, smirking at Jackson. Said man scowls, flopping back onto the couch, looking like a petulant child. Stiles goes to watch the movie but sees Lydia looking at him expectantly. He quickly sends her the photo, pinching Derek when he starts chuckling again before settling in.

“You’re showing me the rest of that list later,” Derek murmured, nipping lightly at Stiles’ arm.

“Of course, you have access to everything of mine.” He flicked Derek’s nose.

“Oh no,” Erica whined. “I know we all wanted them to sort their shit out, but was this really a good idea?”

“God, they’re terrible alone. But together?” Scott whined. “We’ll never win!”

“Of course not,” Stiles grinned smugly. “Power couple over here.”

“One can hurt you physically, while the other hurts you emotionally.” Isaac groans.

“I’m totally the one who can hurt them physically,” Stiles whispered to Derek who just patted his arm. “Shut it.”

The pack grumbled, complaining about the two being together now. Said couple just ignored them and quietly watched the movie. It took a while for everyone to settle down, the movie was pretty much over. No one cared though, it was still amusing to listen to them all and Derek dozing off at one point.

When the movie was over, Scott being the best bro, ushered everyone out silently after passing him the remote. He turned on another movie, drawing patterns on Derek’s arm as the man continued to sleep.

“Hey,” he whispered into his ear a couple of hours later. “We should get to bed.”

Derek groaned a bit as he woke up, slowly climbing to his feet. Before he could get up, Derek reached down and scooped him back up and over his shoulder. The human huffed, rolling his eyes in amusement.

“You know, I’m starting to wonder if you think I’m a sack of potatoes.” Stiles squeaks, face flushing when Derek grabs his butt instead of his thigh.

“No, just like the access.” Derek teases. Him being over Derek’s shoulder distracted him so much that he realized at the last minute he was brought up the stairs rather than to his own room. Before he can say anything though, Derek throws him on his bed.

“Uh, wrong room?” He doesn’t leave though, just takes off his flannel shirt and wiggles out of his jeans as Derek stripped down to his briefs and climbed in.

“No,” he got to Stiles’ side, moving him to sit up and took his t-shirt off before pulling him to lie down as he covered them with blankets. “Sleep.”

“Sir, yes, sir!” Stiles chuckled, shuffling until he sprawled across Derek.

“Put my stuff back tomorrow,” Derek mutters, smacking Stiles’ butt lightly.

“Do that again and I’ll even leave things alone the next time we fight.” He laughs when Derek does it again, snuggling in. “You have saved your things for one fight.”

Stiles loved the warmth of werewolves, it made it so much easier to fall asleep. He was almost asleep when he felt Derek press his lips to the top of his head. He grinned sleepily, returning the action by kissing his neck.

“Stiles!” Derek yelled. He squeaked, rushing from the living room into his office/old bedroom. “You brat, I thought we agreed!”

“I said it would save you one fight! Not my poor impulse control!” He laughed when Derek stood outside the doorway, looking annoyed.

“Stiles,” Derek says dangerously. “If you do not come over here right now, I will tell your dad that you’ve been switching out his regular cereal for the healthier options.”

“I-” Stiles pouted. “I hate how proud I am that you’re blackmailing me.”

“Be proud either here or behind a broken mountain ash line.” Derek scowled. “You know I hate it when I can’t get to you.”

“But see, this gives me an advantage.” Stiles slowly smirked, watching as Derek started to look weary.

“What-” He jumped when Stiles quickly picked up a Nerf gun and shot the balloon over the werewolf's head. It popped over him and he was covered in milk. He started laughing hysterically, bent over as he wheezed. And because he was bent over, he didn’t notice that the mountain ash line was broken, or that there was a pissed off werewolf in front of him.

He did notice when he was yet again thrown over his shoulder, yelping when a hand landed hard on his rear end before he was brought into the washroom. He was put down in front of the shower, gawking when Derek stripped out of his shirt and turned the water on.

“You made the mess, clean it up.” Derek smirked.

“How terrible of me, I am a cruel man. I shall do my job with zero complaint.” Stiles saluted him before going to strip. He pouted when Derek stopped him with a smug grin. “Oh I hate this, but jokes on you, I am practiced in the art of speed cleaning around werewolves.”

He bolted out of the washroom, quickly grabbing cleaning supplies and cleaning up the mess before stripping on his way back into the bathroom and practically falling into the shower behind the older man. Derek laughed, pulling Stiles upright.

“You’re a brat,” he chuckled.

“Yes, but you knew this when we got together. I need entertainment.” Stiles laughed back, reaching around him to grab the shampoo.

“I didn’t realize it would all be at my expense,” Derek sighed, giving him an exasperated look. “How about, you can pull that kind of stunt again, just not on me.”

“Isaac?” Stiles grinned, watching Derek lean into the scalp massage.

“Isaac,” he smirked with his eyes closed. Oh, he really loved this man.

They belong together your honour.
