what was I made for?

KWesker production proudly presents you

Another Incestfield one-shot

Author’s Note: Disclaimer. I do not own Resident Evil. Neither the song I will recommend to you. I had this idea by seeing a Valenfield titkok edit. And of course, KWesker comes and twists everything. Stating now, that I do not support real life incest. And fiction will never become real.

Recommended songs: TV, and What Was I Made For? by Billie Eilish. (Available on Spotify, and all the other places)

Everyone seemed happy and was calm. But this couldn’t be said to Claire. The only one in the group who was broken in the inside. They were after another mission. Free for an unnamed time because no one knows when the next call happens. They went out to have a little fun, but no matter how many wines went down in Claire’s throat, the sadness only grew. For her luck, no one seemed to see this.

She looked around the table. Seeing everyone. They were having fun. Whenever she looked at him, her heart broke to a thousand pieces. She should be the one, who sat next to him. The one, who slowly puts her head on his shoulders, then getting a little kiss. But no. It wasn’t her.

Claire never really knew when this happened inside her. She only woke up to the realization one day. And she doesn’t even know, when was that. After the Antarctic? Later? Never knew exactly. But it happened, and it started to break her down slowly. So, to put a hide to those things, she did something, she never thought she would do.

Date someone, to forget the feelings. So probably around the happenings of Claire killing Alex Wesker, and returning home, she started seeing one of her friends. Leon S. Kennedy. They both knew that this relationship could be a dead end. Claire had someone other in her mind, and Leon had Ada in his head. Before the happenings of Alcatraz, they broke up. They couldn’t lie anymore. And Claire, told him everything on the day of the breakup.

Leon was the shoulder; she could cry on. They’ve spent the night talking about Claire’s feeling. Leon never said any bad word to her. And Claire was grateful. Leon even helped her building up some courage, to stand in front of him, and tell him everything. But that day was a disaster in Claire’s eyes.

Claire dressed up so pretty, and everything. She looked amazing. She took long breaths all day, then decided to pay a visit to him, at his workplace. Then… the hard realization came up towards her. He saw her with another woman. Not in a friendly way. And they were happy.

Claire left not so soon after, and rushed home. Spent the entire day crying. Leon was there, again. And promised her to get some information about that thing. But Claire didn’t want any of that. She was depressed. She didn’t even get the chance, to try it with him. And the days passed not so soon after that.

Alcatraz happened, and she played it all together, as she used to. Even played a little backfire with Leon. They shouldn’t seem all happy after a breakup. Because everyone knew about them and would do strange eyes. Now, that Alcatraz is over, and they’re out, everything seemed normal. Just, seemed.

Claire walked to the bathroom. Excuesed herself for a second. She washed her face, but it couldn’t help her anymore. She cried. So hard. She couldn’t stop herself. She sat down to the ground and tried to let it all out quickly. This needs to change. If not, it will kill Claire.

After a few minutes, she walked out of the bathroom, and went outside of the bar, to get some fresh air. She breathed it inside. It was calm. And the coldness seemed to blow away her tears. For sanity, cold air is the best to happen.

“Oh, hi Claire” Jill said to her, as she lightened up her cigarette.

Jill Valentine. The person Claire shouldn’t kill, but she hated her with all her heart. She was the one, who was in her place. Claire only hates her because of that. Nothing other.

“Can I have one?” Claire asked quietly.

Jill quickly searched for her cigarette box, then handed it to Claire. Claire muttered a thank you, then grabbed one cigarette. Lightened it up, then gave the box back to Jill.

“You seem so sad, is it because of the breakup?” Jill asked.

Claire shakes her head. She was over that breakup the moment it happened. But couldn’t tell it to them. And she didn’t want to spend anytime near her, so she walked up to the door, but Jill stopped her.

“You think I’m stupid?” Jill asked her, as she stepped on her smoked cigarette. “I know what you feel. I see the way you look at him”

Claire couldn’t say a word to her. She shakes her head, but then, she started to cry again. Jill was surprised to see this, but put her hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her.

Jill wasn’t stupid. She saw how Claire looked at him. And saw, how he looked at her. They were meant for each other. And she was in the way. So, she decided to step back.

Not so short before Alcatraz, Jill broke up with him. Of course, he fought for that relationship, but Jill told him everything. And he couldn’t lie anymore. But no one knew that they broke up. They didn’t want to give a sound to this. They were all busy with Alcatraz. And that was more important.

“I’m sorry” Claire cried out.

Jill was holding up her judges against that type of relationship. But when she saw how sad Claire was, she couldn’t do that anymore. Everything happened, and if it would mean relief for them, she couldn’t hold it back.

“Nothing to be sorry about” Jill said to her, with a smile on her face. “Why don’t you talk to him about it?”

Claire felt horrified. Why would Jill say something like that to her? To have a laugh after? Or to get hateful words from him? And be more depressed? No way!

“Are you crazy?! Never!” Claire cried out.

Jill let out a sigh, then told her, why she would do it. Claire was really shocked to say. But after a few more minutes outside, she decided to get her courage together, and go inside.

Jill was watching from the outside. She even smiled when she saw them together. Claire’s sadness always faded away whenever she looked at him. Not so long after, Jill was still outside of the bar, now with Leon and Rebecca. They all sneaked out, to watch them from the outside, and not to be a disturb.

“When did you all knew this?” Rebecca asked.

She was the last one to find it out, by today. Because Jill told her everything. And Rebecca almost fainted when she heard this news.

“Few days” Leon and Jill said in synchrony. They let out a little laugh, then walked backwards a little, to not seem like creeps.

Claire built up more courage, by having another few wines down in her throat. And in herself. She didn’t get drunk that easy. This was their first time around each other, by being just the two of them.

It’s been almost twenty years, since Chris realized what he feels. For him, it was all around the happenings of Antarctica. And couldn’t give a straight answer to it. But was good enough to hide these feelings. But as the time passed, and all those missions about saving the world became more often, and more time taking, it started to eat him on the inside. What if there would be not a single chance, to tell her? What if one of them dies?

Neither of them thought about this day, to be the day itself. They thought, they had to wait more. But it was an instant relief for both, that they could finally talk this out. But how did it happen?

“I… need to tell you something” Claire said first.

She felt her heartbeat in her throat. Almost making her words uncapable to say it. She looked into his eyes. Almost felt like she could cry on the spot, but no. She had to make it trough and tell him everything.

“And… I need to show you something” Chris added.

Claire was surprised to hear this. She wanted to be the first one to tell. But it immediately changed.

She tried to open her mouth. And the moment she did, her lips were blocked. Her eyes shut, because of the sudden reason. She wouldn’t even care if this was a dream. Because it seemed so real to her at that moment. After a while, her eyes opened for a little, and she saw him. Her heart melted at that moment. He kissed her. And it wasn’t a dream anymore.

“What do you want to say?” Chris asked her, a little while after, they broke their first kiss.

Claire couldn’t come up with words, again. But crying? Yes. She was crying again. But not because of sadness. Happiness. She was happy indeed. Her dream finally came true. She was with the one, she loved with all her heart.

“There’s no need to cry now, Claire…” Chris said to her, as he gently moved his hand to her face.

His touch was everything. Even put a little more sensation to Claire, and more reason to cry herself out.

“I’m sorry” Claire said quietly. “This was all, I’ve been wanting to happen for a long time…”

As they looked at each other, they knew, that they shouldn’t say anything more. Their eyes said everything. But that was the night, they finally decided to start everything all over again. And from different steps. And partners, in life.

Not to mention, the outsiders were cheerful. They all cheered for them. Even thought, they all thought, what happened there was wrong, but neither of them seemed to get really bothered by that fact. They’ve just let it go.

Happy end, finally came to their streets too.

Notes:

Okay so this turned out a little worse than I imagined, but here it goes. I feed this tag like never. My first try in making things a little sad. To say I cried to a little whenever I made Claire cry. But Im really going to watch Death Island now, that I wrote so many thing about it. Will be back later!
