The calmness of the atmosphere was new to Yuu, well at least since coming to this world. Being put into a new world led to confusing moments and new experiences and saying things, slang, others don’t get. When coming to this world they have faced Overblotts, magic, and more among that line.
So to have this moment of calmness with their 2 closest friends was special to them. Ace, Deuce, and them lay in the backyard of the Ramshackle dorm looking at the stars. The silence between them was rare in their friendship. With the recent fight with Vil when he overblotted weighing on them.
At this moment the 3 were just enjoying the other’s company and the fact that they’re alive. Yuu spoke breaking the silence “You know I kinda wish I was a star,” Ace looked at the prefect in confusion, then looked to Deuce not understanding why. “Why?” Ace divulged.
“Well, stars explode ya know? And when they do they create the most fascinating thing, supernovas! “ Yuu pauses not noticing the disbelief on the 2 boys’ faces, “ And a supernova is a brilliant burst of light that can sometimes outshine entire galaxies! Even radiating more energy than the sun will in its lifetime.”
Yuu breathes in, looking away from the stars to look at the other 2, only to see utterly confused faces looking back. “I’m sorry- um I must not have heard you right… stars what?” Ace croaked his confidence he usually held falling away into more confusion.
Yuu could almost feel hope in his voice that what they said was an utter hoax, “Stars explode.” Yuu confirmed the confusion now befalling them as well. “Yuu, um, where did you get this info from?” Deuce cautiously asked.
“What do you mean? This is common knowledge,” there was a pause for Yuu as they registered what was occurring “At least in my world…hold on!” Yuu quickly moved to grab Deuce’s phone, putting the passcode in quickly as they opened the messaging app, pulling in the contact info of a junior of theirs.

Yuu turned off the phone, handing it to Deuce, “Don't worry about all the messages you're about to get from Cater.” Yuu then turned to look back up at the sky, a melancholy feeling radiating off of them as they did. “Whatcha needed my phone for? And why are you not explaining more about these exploding stars??”
“I would forget about this, only because I think this is another other world thing. Like maybe only my world has it, or maybe only we have figured it out yet and it's still decades till Twisted Wonderland discovers it? I don’t know, sorry for shattering your world view lmao.”
“I’m not sure if this is an LMAO situation. What're you trying to accomplish by sweeping that under the rug HUH?” Ace chided, “I'm not sweeping it under the rug!! Per se more like I don’t know and dealing with it later sounds better?”
“That's sweeping it under the rug dipshit.” Yuu rolled their eyes at that moving to stand, “I feel like it's moments like these that makes me miss my home world, or would it be referred to as other world?” they pause, collecting more of their thoughts.
“I mean I don't remember anything, it's like my head is foggy and my memories, relationships, wonders, everything is right on the tip of my tongue but I don't remember a thing and can't supply the answer. And, and, then I remember these facts, these things that are so normal for me to know, and when I say them everyone here is shocked and they didn’t know said things.”
Yuu turned to look down at the other 2 whom were now sitting up, “I mean this to me is such common knowledge yet you guys don't know it. And there is nothing I can do to prove such a fact to you. Is it weird I miss something I don't even remember experiencing, a life I don't even know?”
Ace seemed to contemplate the prefect's words exchanging glances with Deuce whilst doing so, Deuce then began to speak slowly “Yeah, I guess I kinda get that. Though I admit I might not be the best person academically or in the general smarts category. I think I understand! Like how when I heard my mom speaking to my grandmother I began to miss the person before the kid who she didn't feel was a failure or ya know a disappointment! But the more i thought the more i couldn't seem to remember when that would have been?”
Deuce paused looking more to the ground “But at this rate, I hope to become an honor student something she can be proud of. I'm striving to fit the thing I miss as that's what I want my reality to be! But You'd be surprised at what you can achieve with even just a small effort every day! And I'm working towards remembering that and becoming that!”
“HA! That was really cheesy Juice!” “wha-WHAT! I THOUGHT WE GOT PAST YOU CALLING ME THAT!” “Nah! Anyways I want more Hot choco!” Ace quickly stood moving to walk back into ramshackle, “Get me some more too, Ace!” “me as well!”
“Ya ya~” Ace drawled while walking into the large building. “Anyway, now that he's gone. You and I are homies! And though this is cheesy you've helped me work closer and closer to my goal! You've helped tons of people, saved lives even, and probably saved Crowley's job too. So with that, I'll try my best to help you remember!”
Yuu smiled, moving from their standing position to move Grim, who was sleeping, closer to them. “Thanks, Deuce… I appreciate that a lot.”
“I GOT THE COCO! NOW QUIT MOSEYING AND LET ME SIT DOWN!”
Quickly moving to make sure there was space for Ace he gave them the cups of choco, “Now what do you say?~~~”
Deuce rolled his eyes at that, “I’m the coolest?” Deuce retorted.
“Actually it was that I was a genius! Ya know, something true?” Ace jibbed back. Yuu began to laugh feelings of melancholy rolling off of them no longer there as they enjoyed their company.
At least they have them to help make sense of this world.
