Chapter Text
You stood there feeling disheartened as Kpop idol Lee Hoseok dragged his eyes passed you. You knew you was as talented as half the dancers there, but you had seen his face look in disgust as you made mistakes in your audition.
Hoseok had applied to the record label for a new set of talented dancers. You had barely been with Monsta X for a year when Kihyun had encouraged you to go for it.
But it was clearly a mistake, his dance moves a little harder skilled to pull off. You had heard the Boys talk about their former member with such fondnes. So you were taken back to find Lee Hoseok quite stern. His jaw line gritting with those he wasn’t impressed with and smirking with those that clearly brought what he needed.
As you all waited for the names of those he wanted to see again. You had settled into the prospect that you were more suited to the needs of the six men whom had taken you under their wing. Instead of the sexy hot Lee Hoseok alter ego Wonho.
“Y/N,” his voice echoed the hall, your jaw dropped open not expecting him to call your name, his eyes zoning in on yours. You gulped as you stood with the other girls feeling out of your league. You swore you caught a slight smirk flash across his face as he watched you.
When the others trailed out the halls Hoseok stood in your way. His hands resting on the door frame, his eyes smalling in your view as you gulped as your anxiety bit.
“Y/N I suggest maybe staying to practice, I only kept you as a favour to the guys, you are letting them down,” he said coldly, your heart falling at his harsh words. Tears threatening you, you struggled to find words to respond. Resolving in just a simple nod and letting the bag fall off your shoulder.
Watching you, arms folded as his focus set your way as you prepared to start practicing.
As the music flowed, you felt your anxiety from his harsh glares as he remained unmoved from the door. His face remaining stoic. You were slightly slow and as you inwardly cursed yourself. Hoseok walked across to your direction, forcing you to look at the floor awaiting a scolding.
“Ahhh Y/N you're working so hard,” you heard the friendly voice reach you that was music to your ears. Minhyuk was standing at the door smiling. You looked up towards his cheery eyes as Hoseok stood between you both. “Yes, she is working very hard. She’s very dedicated. That’s something no one can take from her,” Hoseok said smiling at Minhyuk. But he brushed his harder expression your way when he turned his back out of His friends glance. You reddened at the interaction and passed a fake smile towards the kind comforting Minhyuk. “Well good luck,” he said before taking off. “Well don’t just stand there, i covered for you don’t let him down,” Hoseok said coldly that you looked to the floor gulping, but determined not to let his words cut you.
Hoseok placed the music on before leaning against the table. His eyes heavily focused on you as you continue to practice. This time not making any mistakes. “Again,” Hoseok ordered when you finished leaning over panting. Your eyes flashed to his as he placed a unemotional gaze your way. Your legs felt heavy and your heart thumping. But you wasn’t going to let him break you. So you continued the routine, this time asking him to replay the music. This time your eyes glued to his, the intense of your anger burning through your eye contact making him slowly smirk. His eyes widening erotically in your view as you made sure to dance more seductively. However, you inwardly berated yourself when you slipped to the floor panting when Hoseok’s hand appeared.
Looking up towards him, his warm eyes and smile melting you. Taking his hand, you stumbled in the process that you fell into him. Anxiously you looked through your lashes expecting a scowl. But instead, he gently chuckled.
“Oh sorry,” you heard a voice call by the door again, this time it was Kihyun, a slight scowl on his face in Hoseok’s direction. Causing the muscular elder to take a step backwards he released you. “I was helping her with her practice,” he gulped like a scorn child. “Sure you were,” Kihyun said, his eyes boring into him.
He shot his eyes towards you, “want a ride home Y/N?” he asked, softening his tone in your direction. “You’re need the rest for tomorrow,” Hoseok said softly. Your eyes brushing as you felt an electricity buzz between you both momentarily. You bowed and gathered your items while feeling the tension between your friend and Hoseok, that felt a tad icy for friendship.
You were sat almost in silence as Kihyun was driving. It was becoming obviously he wanted to say something. Turning his radio on, to plunge anything into the air. You hoped to avoid the deadly silence of what you wasn't sure was bothering him. His hands instantly turned it off. Gulping briefly, he looked at you. His jaw tensing as he tilted his head slightly. “You ok Kihyun?” you asked trying to coax him into talking about his issues.
“You know Hoseok can’t give you what you clearly want,” he huffed after a while. “We are not meant to date. He’s already had enough drama in his life. He won’t commit, it’s too risky,” he added more softly. “I know this, what are you implying?” You asked. He pulled the car into a nearby street. Turning the Engine off he shifted to face you. “I’m not implying anything, just as both of your friends you need to be a little more careful,” Kihyun said placing his hand over yours.
“Nothing’s going on, I don’t think we’re even friends. He’s not exactly very nice to me, I think he hates me,” you replied. You could have been mistaken but you were sure you had seen Kihyun slightly smile before he fixed his features. “Hoseok’s one of the sweetest men alive. But Wonho’s hard driven and very focused, he doesn’t hate you,” he said releasing his hands from yours. Your tummy rumbled when you realised you hadn’t eaten since breakfast. “Someone’s hungry,” Kihyun chuckled, “let’s get a take out,” he added restarting the car to continue on its journey. Which was more pleasantly warm.
You and Kihyun was sat on the sofa watching a comedy as you both was eating the fried chicken he had brought. “I’ve missed your laugh,” Kihyun said taking your attention from the TV. “Well you sent me there,” you scoffed back. “Well you were the one that asked for more sexy choreography,” Kihyun chuckled watching you blush. All from a slip of the tongue comment you once let your mind wander during practice once.
“The chicken’s hot or you having naughty thoughts,” Kihyun winked earning a swat of your hands in his direction. “I don’t miss your nagging though,” you teased. “I don’t miss parenting you neither,” he said widening his eyes to stare you down playfully, earning you to chuckle.
You finished watching the show when you felt tiredness suddenly wash over you. You had only closed your eyes once. Leading you to wake up with the sun gleaming through the living room, a blanket laid over you and Kihyun gone.
It had been the final audition, who ever was through was Hoseok’s chosen dancers. You had worked hard the past couple of weeks, with Jooheon often visiting you during practice. Hoseok had avoided these sessions and became very distant. But when you were in his company he would be harshful, making comments that made you feel small. If it wasn’t for the small moments of kindness stemming from him occasionally you would have probably walked away.
However, deep down you knew your time was up, you had come to realise that you missed your friends. There was a slight excitement to think how good it would be to be back with the guys when he got rid of you.
Hoseok had walked in, his americano in his hand. He took his shades off to focus on you and the remaining dancers. His eyes brushing past you stoically, resting on you a tad longer. His eyes straining making you gulp, he clearly hated you. One of the girls had a moment of confusion, when Hoseok on a much calmer tone that he had ever shown you, helped her to memorise.
“I’ll show you,” he said, his eyes glossing to yours, “Y/N,” he snapped in your direction. “Come here,” he ordered as you gulped walking to face him. He spun you to face the mirror, pulling your arms in the air, his hands slowly sliding down them as he demonstrated the position. Your breath hitched at the contact as his hands tucked under your knee. Bending them, his hands brushing your ass that you couldn’t help but gulp at the contact. Hands finding there way to your hip as he helped guide yourself to a slight squat.
You could feel your body turning to a mess, the more you berated yourself, the more you became sensitive to his touch. The way his voice tingled down your ears attacking your spine, had you struggle slightly. He spun you to face him so he could demonstrate the view closer then the mirrors allowed. His breath fanning on your face as you closed them fighting the intense Public situation you were being exposed to. He growled lowly for your ear shot smirking, letting you know full well what he was up to. His hands brushed down your thighs that you felt your pants dampen. All while you were losing yourself like a love sick teenager.
He pulled you into him, breathing against your ear, “I barely touched you and your so wet. Surely you don’t think me fucking you will help get you the part,” he whispered taking you a while to understand his words. He took one look down your body biting his lip before leaning back into your ear. “You might want to get changed, your so greedy for my cock it looks so noticeable,” he said, before he spun you around facing the mirror.
He was right, he had made you so wet and damp that there was a damp patch on your pink tight exercise pants. “Right let’s have five minutes,” he said turning to the rest of the girls. The embarrassment cursing through you that you grabbed your coat and ran for the exit. Sod the break, sod the audition and sod Darn Lee Hoseok.
You made your way to your locker fishing out your stuff. Knowing you should have changed instead, but desire to leave the building was far greater. Wrapping your jacket around you covering the clear arousal from anyone’s view. You made a beeline for the exit of the building.
“Y/N,” Hoseok shouted after you, but you refused to pause. Before your hands could rest on the door, he pulled you back dragging you to the closest empty room. Crossing your arms, you shoot daggers his direction as he locked the door. “Look I’m sorry I shouldn’t have done that just I,” he said brushing his hands through his hair as an vulnerable expression fell upon his face. “I don’t know how to say this or if I should.” He muttered panicking.
“Y/N I like you. I shouldn’t, I can’t offer you anything but I like you,” he blurted out. You paused and then laughed shone through, “You treat me like crap and you want me to believe for a second you like me,” you bit out. “I was treating you like crap to push you away but at the same time I don’t want you to go,” he said looking to the floor. “Well you don’t need to worry I’m out. I’ll ask kihyun if the guys will take me back,” you spat out.
His face shot up panicking showing a sight of him that you never believed you would witness. “No please don’t go,” he begged, eyes watering. “You were going to kick me to the kerb anyway,” you replied. “No I wasn’t, the place is yours,” he whined, “Well I don’t want it,” you cursed. A single tear left his eye as he wiped it hoping it wasn’t seen. “Why?” He asked looking at the floor like a lost schoolboy, that your heart fell with him. “Because i don’t want the place because you apparently like me,” you said more softly. “But that’s not true, the place was yours at the first audition,” he said looking a little sheepish, but your anger began to boil slightly.
“So, you’ve been an ass to me this whole time and dangled a carrot when the damn carrot was mine,” you shouted. “Yes I’m an ass, why do you think Kihyun was angry with me,” he replied, his eyes returning to face yours.
“Y/N I can’t date you, I’m not allowed, not so soon after coming back, my career needs me to be as clean cut as I possibly can,” he whined, looking conflicted. “So the place is mine,” you replied earning a nod. “Then I’ll see you tomorrow,” you add making sure to bump his shoulder as you past him. Anger, confusion but slightly turned on. You had a feeling you was going to regret working with Lee Hoseok.
