Chapter Text
I should probably preface this by saying it wasn't my idea. In fact, I think that doing this could cause some pretty big issues, but I was outvoted and here we are. Now that I have the right to say 'I told you so', I should probably introduce some important things to know going in.
Number one, characters. We'll start with me, the closest you get to someone who knows what they're doing. To imagine what I look like you really just need to imagine some bamboo with a propensity for jeans and nerdy t-shirts, and then extrapolate to fit a skeleton in there. Then just toss in a pendant and either a trench coat or unzipped sweater and you’re good to go. Also need to add a pair of glasses, since I am quite blind. There’s also my friend Matt, he’s got this black, kind of wavy hair that is always somewhat in his eyes. How he deals with it I’ll never understand, but I digress. I should also probably mention my hair since we’re on the topic now, it’s about the length where if it fell straight down the strands would rest on my eyebrows, but I usually part it to my left to stop that from happening. I’m like, 90% sure it's brown, but I never actually pay attention to my hair color whenever I see a mirror so for all I know it could be neon pink. I doubt it, Occam’s Razor and all, but still. Matt’s build is very similar to mine, but he normally wears a light, black pullover jacket alongside some sweatpants. Clearly, the two of us are fashion geniuses.
Number two, how exactly this is going to work. A good portion of the time it’ll be first-person centered on myself, but occasionally for important events that I wasn’t there for or to give a better reading experience we’ll switch to old reliable third-person. Some examples of when third person would probably be implemented: Duels that I’m not participating in, I’ve passed out (happens more often than you would think), or if someone is having a flashback.
Finally, number three, God says hi. On occasion, me almighty shall deem it important to interject into the tale. Good? Great. Let’s do this. Welcome, to that time I was flung across universes just to Pendulum Summon a little.
