The school year was over and things were changing rapidly.
Tommy didn't know how to feel.
In about three months, he would start his last year of high school, senior year.
The fact that he would have to work even harder, to get perfect grades, in order to graduate and get into college scared him.
You see, he struggled quite a lot with his grades this year.
He couldn't really understand anything at first, things were moving too fast for him.
He was so sure that he was going to fail all of his classes and have to repeat the year.
Thankfully, Sam was there.
After seeing the boy stressing over school during practice, Sam offered to help him.
He would go over to Tommy's house three times a week and tutor him.
Tommy couldn't really understand how someone was willing to waste so much of their time on him.
He was an annoying, short-tempered child that bothered everyone, after all.
That's what Wilbur always told him.
So why did Sam insist on helping him?
Meh whatever, It didn't really matter. if Sam wanted to spend his time like this, then so be it.
It's safe to say that, with Sam's help, Tommy managed to get a mix of As and Bs.
Tommy will never forget the look on Sam's face when he saw the teen's report card.
Proud. Sam was proud.
As soon as he saw Tommy's grades, his face lit up and a huge grin took over his face
“See, I told you! All of that hard work payed off, I'm so proud of you kiddo!”
He ruffled Tommy's hair.
And oh.
Someone was proud of him??
Tommy felt something warm bubble up inside his stomach.
He spent that evening sobbing in his coach’s arms.
I wonder if Phil would be proud of me.
Even though Tommy was excited for summer, he couldn't help but be a little bit worried for the approaching school year.
Don't get him wrong, he couldn't wait to graduate from high school. However, him becoming a senior meant that his older brothers would go away to college.
Dream, George and Sapnap had just graduated from high school.
That meant no more pranks during school.
No more making faces at each other in the halls.
No more skipping class together.
No more eating lunch together.
No more making fun of the “popular kids".
No more chasing each other in the halls.
No more annoying the teachers they hate.
No more stealing Sapnap’s bandana.
No more worshipping George at the Gogy shrine.
No more play fighting with Dream during practice.
No more playing soccer together.
Tommy would start his senior year but for the first time in a long time, he wouldn't have his brothers by his side.
It was fine though, right?
He still had Tubbo and Ranboo, it would be selfish of him to feel like this. He would still continue to do all of those things with them.
It wouldn't be too bad.
As long as he had Tubbo and Ranboo by his side, everything would be okay...
Plus, there's really nothing to worry about!
Tommy is sure nothing will change.
I mean yeah Dream, Sap and George were going away to college but they would still be in touch.
They're brothers.
You can't cut them off that easily, right?
Isn't that what happened with Techno and Wilbur?
Everything would be ok!
..... Right?
