Uno Reverse

It's always great to wake up to a dead man trying to discreetly put up a poster of himself in your room. Note Izuku's sarcasm. He looks over at the past user who was doing a very poor job of trying to put up the poster without covering the All Might ones. Izuku sighed heavily, "Daigorou, what are you doing?"

Fifth proceeds to jolt and turn, laughing nervously, "Do you think it's possible for me to convince you that I'm not here and that you're hallucinating?"

Izuku squints, "And you wonder where I picked up my new gaslighting tendencies."

Down a few floors of the dorm building, Denki was currently scared out of his mind because of the person in the bathroom mirror who wasn't actually there. A young man with long white hair and deep viridian eyes was standing behind him in the reflection, titling his head curiously. But whenever Denki turned to face him, he was met with nobody. Denki screamed and bolted from the bathroom, crashing into Eijiro on the way out. He quickly grabbed the red head by the shoulders and managed to say, "G-Ghost!"

"Ghost?"

"In the bathroom!"

Eijiro laughed and walked into the bathroom, ready to prove Denki wrong. There was no one in there. But just as Eijiro turned to tell Denki he was tripping, his eyes caught on the mirror. The white haired man waved at him with a dopey grin on his face. Needless to say, both Denki and Eijiro stayed far away from any mirror in the building.

Later that night, the entirety of Class 1-A got comfortable, ready for movie night. About half way through the movie, Izuku fell asleep. A heartbeat passes and he's slowly raising his head again, a hand pressed to his temples. He looked extremely disoriented, his head was swaying slightly and his face was scrunched up like someone was shining a bright light in his face. Tenya placed a hand on his shoulder, "Are you alright, Midoriya?"

Izuku tensed up, staring at Tenya with wide eyes. Like he didn't recognize him. But he blinked and the look vanished as quickly as it had come. He nodded, "Yes, I am quite alright."

Ochako suddenly started paying attention to the two, "Why are you talking so proper, Deku?"

Izuku's gaze flickered over to her, "I don't know what you mean?"

"No, she's right. You never talk so... poised?" Mina butted in, gaze flashing between all three of them, "You almost sound like Todoroki."

"Hm?" Shoto turned as he heard his name, "I talk poised?"

Izuku blinked a few times. Lifting himself from where he sat, he walked off into the kitchen. In the kitchen, Hikage whispered to himself, "Sorry, Ninth. I didn't intend to take over."

Izuku's tone of voice spoke back, "It's fine, Fourth. I get it, it just happens."

Back in the common room, Tenya stared towards the kitchen, "Something's up with him."

Ochako nodded, "Yeah."

Even later that night, after everyone had gone to bed. Izuku sat at the dining table, seemingly playing Uno by himself. Tenya, Ochako, Shoto, and Tsu all peeked out at him from around a corner, concerned for their friend. Tenya whispered, "Why is he up at... 3 AM?"

"My real concern is the fact that he's playing a multiplayer card game by himself. Ribbit." Tsu waved a hand in Izuku's direction to emphasize her point.

They all went quiet when Izuku started to talk. To himself. He looked to be waiting for something and after a moment, he began speaking with an annoyed tone as he began to draw 4 cards, "How does Third have that many +4 cards? I swear he's used 3 already."

To Izuku's friends, he was playing Uno by himself. But to Izuku, he was playing with the past users and he was incredibly suspicious of Third and his endless supply of +4 cards. Sixth kept glancing at Third suspiciously so Izuku assumed that En was also not buying the whole I just got a lucky hand act. Second sighed as he set a card onto the pile, "I've been in the void so long that I've just grown used to it."

"Guys, I just get lucky cards. It's no big deal." Third laughed as he watched each user set down a card.

"I mean, it is a big deal. You win every fucking time." Fifth scowled at him.

Seventh set her card of choice down, "Language. But he does have a point. You always win."

Third batted his eyes, "I just have natural talent."

"Natural talent my ass." En scoffed under his breath, though no one heard it from behind his high collar.

It finally came to be Third's turn again and he had that mischievous look in his eyes again. Yoichi stared him dead in the eyes, "Hit Ninth with another +4. I dare you."

Third slapped another +4 onto the pile, making Izuku throw his hands up in defeat. Yoichi slammed his hands on the table, "That's it. Your wall privileges have been revoked."

Third gasped, "You're gonna make me sit with you guys? I think I'd rather die to AFO again."

Fourth swiped his gaze through his own hand of cards as he deadpanned, "Wow, I'm really feeling the love, Third."

While Third was busy arguing with First, Sixth had managed to open one of Third's pockets, peering inside. En's eyes went wide and he met Izuku's gaze with a look of triumph. En then raised his voice over Yoichi's and Third's, "Third's a fuckin cheater. Where the hell do you even get this many +4 cards?"

Third swung around and pushed Sixth away, "You bitch! You weren't supposed to know about that."

"Language! Not in front of baby." Nana yelled at them both.

En grabbed at Third's pocket again, pulling out a stack of +4 cards nearly as big as the entire Uno deck. "This motherfucker."

Izuku dropped all his cards and stared at the stack of +4 cards, "BRO!"

Third gaped, flicking his gaze between En and Izuku, "Hey, I'm not the only cheater, okay? Has no one seen that both the white haired bitches here blatantly look over shoulders to see your cards?"

"Fair enough." Hikage shrugged but Yoichi gasped dramatically, "LIES!"

Nana gave up with trying to keep them from swearing, choosing to calmly set down her cards in defeat. Fifth gasped and held his cards to his chest, as if that would help despite the fact that Yoichi had in fact been looking over his shoulder. Second sighed heavily, "I'm not even surprised anymore."

A few days pass and Izuku's friends are still worried. His actions had only gotten weirder. According to Hanta, he had seen Izuku throwing away a huge stack of +4 Uno cards while crying aggressively. It was currently a free period in class and his classmates were mingling around the room, chatting casually. Denki and Eijiro were talking to Fumikage about a bathroom ghost. Denki was describing it, "He was kinda frail looking. Long white hair and green eyes. He seemed polite but he's a ghost so I don't trust him."

Fumikage nodded along, "I have a board we can use to talk to this dark spirit. I'd love to experience a conversation with the dead."

Izuku went pale, he sent a thought Yoichi's way, Dude, what the heck were you doing in the bathroom?

Yoichi's voice sounded back, Ghost things.

You're insufferable.

"You're gonna talk to a ghost? Can I join?" Mina asked the three boys, beaming with interest.

After school, Fumikage set up a ouija board at the dining table. He then sat around it with Denki, Eijiro, and Mina while the rest of the class stood and watched from a distance. Izuku watched with wide eyes as his seven ghost friends stood between the chairs of the table, ready to put their fingers on the planchette. He hesitantly spoke up as the four living people at the table set their fingers on the planchette, "M-Maybe this isn't a good idea? The dorms aren't haunted, this is pointless."

Mina laughed, "Then doing this shouldn't be a problem."

They circled the planchette around the board, Fumikage asking, "Are there any spirits that wish to talk to us?"

Yoichi held up a hand to tell the others to wait, then placing his other on the planchette. He moved it to yes. The class all collectively gasped softly, other than Izuku of course. They weren't expecting an answer so soon. Fumikage shook himself out of his surprise, "Why do you haunt this building?" Fair enough question, the dorms had only been built recently. But Izuku still cringed. The ghosts weren't haunting the building, they were haunting him. Yoichi moved the board piece again, B E C A U S E.

Denki poorly held in a snort, "That's it? Just because?"

Yes.

Fumikage asked, "Is there something you're attached to that causes you to haunt this building?"

Yes.

Eijiro spoke up this time, "What are you attached to?"

Izuku cringed harder as he saw Nana place her finger on the planchette, moving it along quickly, B A B Y. Mina raised a brow, "Baby?"

In a last effort to keep his classmates from figuring it out, he spoke up, "Ask them about All For One."

Fumikage glanced over at him, "Why?"

Izuku gulped, "Just do it."

Fumikage glanced down at the board, "Do you know All For One?"

All seven now had their fingers on the planchette, Yes.

Denki nervously laughed, "That moved much easier than before."

Fumikage flicked his gaze back to Izuku and then back to the board, "What do you think of All For One?"

S T U P I D. B I T C H.

Eijiro chuckled, "Strong feelings there, huh? I do have to agree though."

M A N I P U L A T I V E. M O T H E R F U C K E R.

Fumikage switched his questions up a bit, "How many of you are there?"

7.

"Is there something here that you like and is that why you can't leave?"

N I N T H. I Z U K U.

Everyone turned to stare at him. Izuku chuckled nervously, "Uhh, I can explain..."

En's voice rippled through his head, Quick, act dumb!

"Who is Izuku?" He smothered his face with a lopsided grin.

En facepalmed, Not THAT dumb!
