The Dominant Submissive

Summary:

Having the most powerful creature at your mercy is an intoxicating feeling.

Or that one fic no one asked for where a priestess believed she was aiding the local hanyou by subduing the predatory demon after him. What she wouldn’t ever know was that she put the demon at the hanyou’s mercy instead.

Notes:

This fic starts off with an OFC narrator (you'll see "who" she is later in the story). The narrator is an adult, has no sexual designs on Inuyasha or Sesshomaru, and is merely a plot device/mechanics for beginning this story off. She exits for the second half, having thought she did her duty. Heh. Then it's the boys' turn.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

The child was still fairly young, and, by physical appearance, looked no older than a fifteen-year-old human adolescent. Though his youthful appearance could not deter from the blatantly apparent fact that he was of mixed blood. His humanoid form and his expressive eyes gave away the mortal part of him, while a full head of white mane, dog-like ears, and otherworldly, flesh-confined powers had something to say for his other side.

His demon side.

The priestess Kaiko recalled that he had somehow stumbled upon their small village three years ago during the fading coolness of autumn, the year she turned eighteen and had wed a longtime love. When she first became aware of the half-human’s presence it had seemed like he would stay in the area for a while, though -and this was possibly from past experiences with his “softer” half- he dared not step foot within the range of humans and their homes. It seemed he was simply content with just observing the daily lives and routines of the villagers for whatever reason.

And somehow during his elusive stay, she had one-sidedly become attached to him whenever she happened upon him during her training or patrols.

It had been the beginning of spring during the second year that the Rogue (as she’d come to refer to him as since neither she nor any of the other town inhabitants, had approached him as to know his name) had been within the village’s presence where she came to realize something particularly unsettling to her mothering instincts. The mere notion alone was something that made her shudder in reflection, that even half-humans that proved to possess and successfully wield the awesome powers of a youkai could become fodder, amusement... prey... to their stronger half’s kind. She remembered that season all too well.

She had watched him from downwind, situated in the mouth of a small cave near the top of a low cliff that overlooked a good portion of her village and the area around it, an expanse of at least two miles viewable. It was one of the better lookout stations the village Elders had set up for their purposes of sabotaging or even peacefully deterring possible threats. Often, she took the final shift, preferring a glowing moon and the blanket of night to the hot sun and endless skies of the day. This time, however, she had volunteered to take on the second shift in addition to her nights to help an ailing villager.

It was early evening, the sun lazily drifting to the west where it would later dip beneath the earth for the night. She happened to notice the Rogue out of the corner of her sight, his gaudy red outfit hard to miss whether the sky was awake or asleep, she thought in amusement.

He had been hovering around the shoreline of the eastern lake, seemingly readying to bathe as he removed something from his sleeve (from the distance she was at, it looked like it could have been a bundle of soap) before setting it down on the rock next to him and shrugging out of his clothes.

Even though he was completely nude at the time, he still seemed hesitant to enter the body of water, taking more time analyzing the area around him to ensure he was alone (though his curious ears twitched back and forth every so often like he kept hearing something faint, just outside of eyesight). He finally shook his head, absently dismissing whatever it was that had irked his senses. He finally took a whirling leap into the lake, causing a huge splash to unsteady the surface in a shudder.

She allowed herself to laugh quietly from where she was, hoping that whatever his demon part was, it was not able to hear her from under the water. She sighed. The scene he presented, diving carelessly into the water, splashing around, and what not was rather nostalgic for her. The children in her village no longer played in the nameless forest that surrounded their village, nor were they allowed to bathe in the currently occupied lake.

It was due to war and neighboring villages that had become hostile in their desperateness to survive, threatening to take her people’s food, steal their supplies, and or kidnap and sell their women and children. With such a danger always looming around them, it was not a chance any parent, let alone villager was going to stand by and allow to happen, especially not where their family was concerned.

Never mind the wars and traitorous beasts she was ashamed to share the same mortality with, but demons, in previous years, had been a large contribution to staying as close to the village. Demons that preyed on flesh and blood. Demons that relieved their animal instincts and urges within a vulnerable human body. Demons... that were not like the half-demon bathing in the lake.

From the time he had been in the area, her village had significantly fewer problems with demons attacking their homes at random. And even though none of the villagers had ever come across the Rogue, she had a good hunch he was the reason for it.

She smiled in recollection, remembering the villagers’ confusion when youkai corpses came up in random places, as she saw the white head of hair breach the surface of the water, shaking this way and that. He dipped halfway in before scooping up sand from the water’s bed, scrubbing his skin, and right then, for whatever reason, she could see how truly young he was, even though as one with immortal blood, it was highly possible he could even be a century or older than she.

She found it amusing and heartwarming to observe his behaviors, having at first thought his habits would be strange due to his mixed blood. However, she was pleasantly surprised when his movements and actions, though faster than that of a mortal, were actually very human.

As she mused, he suddenly, visibly stiffened, head and ears the only part of his body making any movement as his heightened senses detected something amiss within the invisibly marked perimeter he’d lied out for himself. She, too, held her breath as she felt some form of cold fear sweep over her suddenly, her eyes darting around the vicinity for any possible threat that she might not have sensed.

Something was... there... Something dangerous... Something that sent instinctive fear down her spine... And it was getting closer to-!

A deer suddenly jumped out of the bushes on the opposite bank, sprinting frantically for the cover of the cliffs to its right before disappearing altogether.

Cold sweat trickled down her body, pounding heart calming. She exhaled in sympathy as she saw the half-human snort, apparently miffed at himself for letting an animal spook him like that (she agreed with his sentiments all too well).

Huh. Must be some hunters that frightened it, she had thought absently at the time, eyes moving to see how the hanyou was faring.

The Rogue had stepped out of the lake, shaking the water off as much as he could before pulling his hakama on.

And that feeling came back. That overwhelming-

A crack sounded before her mind adjusted to the fact that where she was looking the half-demon was no longer there, her eyes having already moved of their own accord, tracking the Rogue to the right, having somehow been hurled into an oak across the large expanse of area. And by something that moved faster than her human eyes could track properly, especially eyes as keen as hers. She gasped as she caught a tail of energy shoot across the impressive distance the hanyou had been thrown, only coming to a standstill not even a second later. Her eyes focused themselves on the threat at hand, the figure in the clearing now, effectively pinning the Rogue by the neck to the old tree.

The exchange between the two, whatever it was, didn’t last long even though it seemed, at the time, to roll slowly over every second, the tension only adding to its aggravating pace.

She only noted that the other unfamiliar figure was notably taller than the half-human, hair nearly the same color, though longer, clothes of higher stature than anyone she’d ever seen in this area, his aura pulsating with untrained power and that the being was male.

A male that ran a clawed hand down the side of the half-human’s naked torso suggestively, dangerously, as the other tightened its grip on the Rogue’s neck causing a pained grunt in reply.

That movement though... she scrutinized. This male... his intentions with the half-demon were clear as day to her even though the sun itself was nearly missing from the sky’s grasp. Did he plan on using the half-human to satisfy his own urges?

Something akin to fury exploded in her mind, incensing her to no end.

He was just a child!

Panicking she was near to sounding her horn, alerting the village to a threat, though not one directly related to them, but was blessedly interrupted by shouts and the sound of horses breaking through the silence of twilight and invaded the ill-sought privacy of the offending youkai and the helpless half-demon.

The youkai growled as if he’d come to some profound sense of his own. The noise he emitted sounding like the impending presence of human warriors was merely a minor annoyance to him and not a product and folly of his own ill-intentions. And then he left, leaving the Rogue to fall to his knees and grasp for his neck as he wheezed in and out, his lungs having trouble moving air in and out through his esophagus. The half-demon staggered to his belongings as the sounds came closer to where he was, grabbing at them disappearing completely himself the next moment.

After that, she hadn’t caught sight of the young hanyou again for six months, though she had a feeling he still hung around if the bodies of mangled demons were any indication.

She never saw the tall, white-haired predator that had attacked the young Rogue again.

Not until half a year later when the sky was moonless and her mothering instincts to protect came to the forefront yet again at the sight of him. At the time she had been thankful the half-demon was nowhere to be found, though the tall demon prowled around the area like he could smell the Rogue yet not make sense of where exactly he was.

And she took advantage as his attention was elsewhere, catching him unaware, allowing her bow to sing its musical thrum as she let fly a soundless arrow into the night, aimed directly for his heart, tamed power sparking in blue bursts.

Her attack neared the point of success, but he turned and caught it, the arrow sizzling in his hand, burning it before he threw it to the side of him in disgust, looking out into the night in her direction. She walked out of her hiding place, realizing that as a full demon he was probably already aware of where she was by now regardless of the darkness.

He didn’t speak, his eyes... his cold stare, saying everything he wished to convey in that one long look.

You will die for having even attempted a thought of wounding me.

She didn’t particularly care, because no matter how intimidating he wished to be, no matter how frightening he truly was, she was prepared. Standing her ground and returning the demon’s gaze, she said evenly, “Youkai. You have a lot of nerve showing yourself in this area again.”

A slight pinch, a minute narrowing of his eyes was all she needed to continue. She had his attention.

“I know what you’re here for,” she stated, eyes as fierce as any mother figure in existence, be it human or demon. “You won’t find him, not if I have anything to say about it.”

“Hn,” was the first sound she’d ever heard from him, his voice deep and annoyed. “A ningen thinks to deny me what I seek? I think not. And I grow bored of this encounter.”

He made to move, his youki bursting from his core, helping to move his limbs at an inhuman speed. But while his first step was quicker than her eyes could track properly, she had been ready for it.

His step faltered, and he finally displayed something more than distaste on his smooth features. His eyes widened slightly, brow creasing in confusion as his body’s movements suddenly ceased, freezing him where he stood, claws raised to deliver whatever blow he had planned. His sharp eyes darted to her, fury building steadily in them, demanding an explanation.

“I may be human and lacking your speed, demon, but I’m not stupid, nor am I weak. I knew one thing for sure from the first time I laid eyes on you, no matter how short a period that was.”

Angry, gold eyes sparked with irritation as well now as he found himself forced to listen to her meaningless drivel. She smirked.

“Your reactions, your impatience, the way you hold yourself; you may quite possibly be older than me, but I can tell that you’re still very young and inexperienced to your kind. It’s because of those things that you’re now rendered completely motionless. It may not be apparent now, but your energy will wane steadily as well.” He narrowed his eyes further at her assumption, his reaction proving her correct as his lip curved slightly. She snorted, exasperated, and having lost some energy herself.

“Cut to the chase then? In short, I’ve sealed you where you stand. Look toward your feet. See those rocks the size of human skulls?” He did look, saw the rocks and markings, and looked back at her, his gaze willing her to a surely painful death.

“There are seals on each of those rocks, making a total of four. They only became active when you moved to bring harm upon me, so you’ve got no one to blame but yourself for your lack of patience and quick temper,” she explained as she situated her quiver on her back, whistling for her horse from further within the brush where she had hidden. The horse did not come, and it was a long way back to the village by foot, at night no less.

She sighed and looked back at the glaring demon. “Even your nasty attitude keeps my horse at a distance.” She turned and made her way from whence she came. “By the way, those seals will only allow you to move when you’re either drained of most of your energy or someone moves the rocks out of place. Either way, you won’t be able to lay a hand against anyone born in the village; as we speak, a seal that is bone-deep is imprinting into your youki, merging it with a pact to ensure this.”

She paused and left him with one last glance of her own disgust. “This is my only warning. Leave this area and the half-demon alone or I will imprint something else into your system that your youki won’t take kindly to.”

And with that, she disappeared slowly into the distance, leaving the demon to his own defenses, sure she would never see him again.

He fell to his knees an hour ago, his body weakening at a disgustingly increasing rate.

That miko... His limbs shook with unsuppressed rage, unable to move and soon unable to take retribution on the one who rendered him to this.

Foolish, he thought. To even think a human priestess could subdue him like this... to have even had the audacity to think she could!

While his anger overruled every thought within him, the sudden idea that he had overestimated himself... had given away something he was incapable of anticipating would be used against him... It was completely beyond him.

He promptly put an end to that train of thought with a strangled snarl.

“Heh. Looks like you got razed pretty good,” a voice said from behind him. The youkai stiffened, unable to move even his neck to face his sudden company.

Damnation! The seals were diminishing his energy so quickly he was losing focus and awareness of his surroundings. But that voice... no matter what form or tone it spoke to him in... he’d recognize it anywhere.

Half-breed,” he said lowly, a threat laced with his acknowledgment, daring the half-demon to say something, anything about his current predicament. And of course, the uncouth fool disregarded any warning he gave.

“You sure got balls to growl me out like that, Sesshomaru.” The hanyou was now directly behind the youkai, his presence overwhelming to the demon, regardless of how low Sesshomaru’s energy was at present. “Hmm. ‘specially since you’re completely... helpless,” he just had to rub in.

“Despite my current situation, you will pay dearly for your foul-mouth, Inuyasha,” he promised.

The hanyou laughed, a gust of breath brushing past the youkai’s head, so close now that the youkai could also feel the light touch of his brother’s fingers moving his hair to one side of his neck, effectively baring the demon’s own neck to him. Sesshomaru snarled.

Inuyasha merely laughed, cocky as ever, maybe even more so due to circumstances. “Threaten all you like; won’t do you any good though. Heh. Man, she plastered your ass in place good, it seems.”

He growled, “That miko will pay for her transgression against this Sesshomaru.”

“Heh, good luck with that. I know you think you’re the shit and everything, Sesshomaru, but she was right when she said you were ‘young to our kind’. You may see yourself as the most powerful thing on this island since our old man, but you still aren’t fully matured, you still haven’t inherited your full potential of powers. She has though. She’s fully matured, a woman and a priestess from a powerful line of holy users.”

“You’re one to talk, half-breed,” the demon snarled furiously as blunt-tipped fingers ran down his neck, resting at the hem of his kimono. “Though I should have expected as much that you would be in cahoots with a human.”

Inuyasha snorted. “Hardly. I’ve seen her around though. She apparently finds me interesting if her attention is anything to go on. I think she sees me as a son or something... seems protective enough, huh?” the hanyou teased.

“Hn. I care not of your relationship with that vile woman.”

“Mm, sure, sure. But you can’t kill her, you know, and not just cause of the miko juices she infused in your stuck-up ass.”

“I can do what I please.”

“The hell you can!” Inuyasha said sharply, all teasing manner gone in a second. “She’s pregnant, idiot. You can’t kill a lady with a bun in the oven, ya know! Didn’t our old man teach you any manners when he was alive or are you just as rabid as you accuse me of being?”

Inuyasha,” the demon growled, feeling pushed almost beyond his limit of patience (which really wasn’t all that long to begin with).

Sesshomaru,” the hanyou mocked, hand moving over the hemline of his brother’s immaculate clothes. “I won’t let you hurt her. She was the one that got the villagers to allow me to stay in the area and I won’t have you killing an entire town of humans just to run me out of yet another place I could potentially call ‘home.’

“‘sides. I plan on keeping an eye on her kid when it’s born, maybe it’ll subdue your ass when it comes of age if you’re even alive that long,” Inuyasha jabbered, talking mostly just to annoy his sibling who couldn’t do a damn thing about it. “I heard her talkin’ to her mate about what she thought it was gonna be... says she has a good feeling it’s gonna be a girl. If it is, she wants to name her Kikyou.”

Inuyasha paused his careless journey over his brother’s outer kimono. “Heh, but of course you don’t care. You don’t care about anything but yourself. Selfish bastard, that’s probably why you’re here again, ain’t it? To get what you wanted last time?”

Sesshomaru let out a growl so menacing in its warning that it actually caused Inuyasha to flinch, regardless of his brother’s current handicap.

Recovering, the hanyou patted his sibling’s collarbone in reprimand. “Yeah, yeah, don’t speak about your perverted need to have one up on your younger, half-breed brother. Don’t utter a word that you come lookin’ for me every season, wherever it is I am, and try to make me submit to you. Keh. You’re a sick bastard, ya know that Sesshomaru? Wanting your own kin at your mercy and between your legs. Twisted dog.”

“You will silence yourself, filthy half-breed!” the youkai sneered as his brother finally moved around in front of him, a human version standing before him like he had all the power in the world over him. Which he did. Currently, anyway.

“Yeah, I’ve heard that one before, it’s getting kinda old,” Inuyasha dismissed as he crouched in front of the irate demon. “Tell you what. Every year since I turned thirty you’ve been after me, and this year I suppose I could be generous and give you what you want. And take what I want in return.” An evil glint appeared in amethyst eyes. “Especially since you’re as defenseless as I am during the New Moon, the only nights you seem to seek me out. Funny it’s come to this, huh?”

Without waiting for a growl of rebuttal, Inuyasha pushed his brother with his mortal strength and the youkai fell backward easily, landing with a thud on the ground. Crawling forward, the half-human situated himself upon his brother’s thighs, his sibling’s outraged stare glaring up at him from his sprawled-out position in the dirt despite his heart starting to pump steadily faster.

“Heh, getting excited already?” the hanyou teased as he ran his hands over his brother’s armored chest. Had his fingers been clawed he would have sliced through the ties at the top that held the bone armor in place with the leather wrap. As it was, though, he had to settle for pulling the red silk string out of its intricate knots, throwing the hindering armor to the side. He received a growl that his dismissal of care toward the armor was not appreciated (or maybe it was just the nerve he had to even think of lowering his elder sibling to such a position).

Inuyasha did not say another word as he scooted back a bit and loosened the demon’s hakama, exposing a column of twitching flesh and a soft patch of white hair at the base to his sight. He took a deep breath through his nose as he stared at his brother’s lap. The longer his gaze stayed there, he noted, the more the phallus shook with excitement, his brother’s heart and scent already giving his arousal away.

“‘spose I gotta do some work here, huh? Geez, even your cock is a demanding bastard,” Inuyasha mumbled to himself before he loosened his top, shucking it off and throwing it behind him, not bothering just yet with removing his hakama.

He soon realized that just by taking his top off and exposing his flesh his brother’s cock hardened dramatically. So entranced by the sight of the quivering pillar, Inuyasha made to grasp it without thought, a strangled sound that wasn’t quite a growl or a moan passing Sesshomaru’s lips at the hot touch.

Inuyasha gulped, momentarily shivering at the power he held over his so much more powerful older brother. At least any other time than now. Kami, it was erotic seeing his sibling splayed out before him, hair fanning out over the ground, eyes watching every move he made, acting like he was pissed when really he was just as excited as Inuyasha himself was at what was happening... at what was about to happen.

Pumping the shaft in tight strokes and taking time to grip the appendage from different angles, memorizing its contour and engraining it into memory, Inuyasha moaned himself. Precum was already beading and spilling over the tip making the movements of his hand easier, slicker, the hanyou’s own erection sobbing in neglected sympathy, hips pumping against a chorded thigh but still not finding its own satisfaction. Good gods, he needed to come!

Sesshomaru’s slightly labored breathing had turned into pants against his will, his traitorous body succumbing to the hanyou’s admittedly arousing ministrations to his person, his mind slowly drifting in a haze of absolute stupor from not only the pleasure he felt but from the draining of his youki. Damn it, but he wanted Inuyasha.

“Gods...” Inuyasha moaned, panting. He begrudgingly let the quaking shaft in his hand go momentarily, leaning on one knee to the side as he untied his hakama, letting them fall to naked thighs and pulling them off awkwardly in a few quick movements. He situated himself just under his brother’s throbbing erection, raising his own hips above and looking his sibling directly in the eye before easing himself onto the youkai.

As his little brother sank onto his aching penis, Sesshomaru had unwillingly let a whine out at the tight clench that encompassed him almost painfully before adjusting to the snug fit of his brother around him. He groaned as Inuyasha began to move, slowly at first, adjusting himself to Sesshomaru’s swollen girth and length. However, before long, Inuyasha began to ride him faster and faster, his pace maddening to the youkai yet stimulating, especially when he caught his brother’s grunts and spied his hand slipping up to his penis and stroking himself in time with the rhythm he’d set for them.

It was Inuyasha arching backward, pleasuring himself with his hand and Sesshomaru’s cock that sent Sesshomaru over the edge, spilling himself into the hanyou’s heated depths, grunting deeply multiple times as his brother milked him. A few more moments and Inuyasha was groaning wantonly as he released himself, his seed splashing droplets over his stomach and Sesshomaru’s pants and top.

Both shuddered in the aftermath, chests heaving against each other as Inuyasha fell forward, resting on top of the youkai.

Minutes later and a growl was heard as Sesshomaru slowly came back to his prideful senses. “I will kill you for this.”

Inuyasha opened his eyes, blinking as he pushed himself up to his elbows to regard his sibling. “Heh. That may be true, but you’ll forever remember that while you may have had your cock in my ass, I was the one that fucked you. A half-breed.”

And with that, Inuyasha stood and dressed, gazing toward the east as the sun began to rise, his midnight-colored hair bleaching into silver-white, eyes melting into molten gold, and shelled ears disappearing in lieu of fuzzy appendages popping up at the top of his head.

The hanyou looked at his brother on the ground for a moment before smirking once more and walking in the same direction he’d come from behind Sesshomaru, kicking one of the small rocks with a seal on it out of place, releasing the movement impairing enchantment upon his sibling.

He didn’t expect retaliation right now; it would be a while yet to come since he knew his brother would have to lick his wounded pride and get over the fact of his newly acknowledged reason for why he sought out the half-demon every year.

But he would eventually come again. Not only for retribution on Inuyasha for his actions this night but also to assert himself as stronger than his sibling, never mind satisfying his raw hunger for his little brother.

And Inuyasha would be ready and waiting for that day

Ahh here's a golden oldie for you guys. Probably not an E-rated fic compared to what's considered "E" these days but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Let me know if I'm missing tags too. Hope you enjoyed!
