Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Michael and Colin enter the carriage. Colin made sure his guns were loaded. The driver went to the mansion. When they arrived, a vampire opened the carriage. Then, they went inside. The guests looked at Michael and Colin, who was wearing a black mask to conceal his identity.

I am Alex, and I am a novelist.

I'm Liza Koshy, and I am the explorer.

I am Tyler Oakley. I am a thespian.

I'm Lauren, and I am the engineer.

My name is Jesse, and I am the outlaw.

I am Tana. I am a Saloon Girl.

My name is Andrea Russet. I am The Mystic.

My name is DeStorm Power. I am a railroad tycoon.

I'm Jimmy Donaldson, I'm The Billionaire.

I'm Joey Graceffa, and I am The Savant.

My name is Michael Graceffa. I'm The StoryTeller.

I'm Colin Huston. I am The BodyGuard, here to protect Michael.

"Joey! There you are!" Andrea said. They gave Joey a group hug. "Uh, hey guys. What are you doing here?" Michael asked. "Don't you remember? You invited us here," Tyler explained. "And who's this guy? Is he your boyfriend?" Tana teased. "No, I am not his boyfriend," Colin said as he took off his mask. "What's your name?" Jimmy asked. "Colin. Colin Huston. I'm Michael's bodyguard," Colin replied. "I thought your name was Joey, not Michael," Alex told, confused. "Well, my name is Joey, but..." Dorian walks to the balcony and sees the guests.

"Welcome to my home. My name is Dorian. You all look so delicious," Dorian announced. "Where's Joey?" "He wanted me to greet you on his behalf, as he should be making his entrance shortly. I see you've met my daughter, Alison. Why don't you get our guests some drinks?" Alison waves, and hands out drinks to everyone. Colin put his mask into one of his pouches. "I propose a toast! To Joey Graceffa, the man of the hour."

Everyone cheers their drinks. "Now, enjoy the decor, 'cause I shall return for you when all is ready." Dorian left. "You're beautiful." "You're beautiful." Alex and Lauren kissed. Everyone started talking to each other. "So what are you?" "A mystic." "No way. What does that mean?" "Um, I do a lot of potions. I talk to spirits. There's a lot of spirits here tonight, actually," Andrea said, looking around. "What do you do, Liza?" Colin asked. "I explore." "Explore what?" I explore anything and everything," Liza answered. "Wait, so why are you here?" "Well, I wanted a new challenge. I wish I could have brought my friends to film it, but I couldn't," Jimmy told.

"I would say just avoid...avoid, uh, dark..dark doorways. I'm seeing bad..." Andrea stated. But I love dark doorways." "What do you do?" "Uh, well, I'm a thespian, of course," Tyler smiled. "Are you single?" "I am exploring that." "Oh yeah, aren't you MrBeast?" "Yep, I am." "Tell me about your money. And your assets," Tana said. "Railroads," DeStorm replied. So how tight is your security on the, uh, these railroads?" Jesse asked. "How big is your gang?" "I'm just trying to survive." "I mean, aren't we all?" "So are you related to Joey?" DeStorm asked. "Yeah. I'm his brother. Colin and I were in the military together, so we're best buds," Michael replied, smiling. Colin nodded.

"How did you create this?" "I mean, just a little something. I'm an engineer, so I create things of all sorts. In style, of course," Lauren explained. Michael smiled. "You made that booty?" "I made this booty." "That's what Alex is writing about." "Yeah, this is the muse. This is the muse." "So, Colin, where are you from? And where'd you get that outfit?" Jesse asked. "I'm from New Haven, Connecticut. This outfit just happened to be with me when I was with Michael in the carriage," Colin replied. "Are your books on Audible.com?" "No, no. Not yet." "Kindle? "No, it's not-" "Libraries?" I haven't- They're just up here right now." "Yeah, they're right here right now." It'd be a shame if anything would happen to you tonight," Destorm said, ominously. "That's him. That's Dorian. This is the guy that came downstairs." Jesse got a part of a map from the painting.

Lauren, Liza, and Andrea find a bookmark. Alex finds a puzzle. They put E V I L into the puzzle and find a key inside. "So we need to find something that's locked." Alison pulls Michael and Colin aside. "You're gonna have to leave. Get all your friends and go. It's not safe here," Alison said. "That's why I came. We're going to be okay, Alison," Colin replied. "Stay safe, both of you," Alison said. Michael and Colin followed Alison back into the foyer. "Everyone, uh, if you could just follow me," Alison announced. As the guests follow her, Liza gets taken away by a vampire.

"She's gone!" "We're really bad friends. We are not good friends." "No matter what happens, we have to stick together," Colin said. "Is nobody concerned about Liza? She literally just got taken by a really hot dude." The guests head outside, following Alison. "This is Joey we're talking about. It could just be theatrics." "We need to get Joey and Liza and get out of here." They stop in front of The Ballroom. "Listen! My father's lying to you. He's not the owner of this estate. You need to stay close to me tonight, okay?" Alison asked. The guests nodded.

They went into the Ballroom. The vampires with masks on talk about who to lay claim on. "Ladies and gentlemen! Dinner has arrived!" Dorian announces. The vampires take off their masks and start hissing. Colin points his gun at the vampires, protecting Michael. The guests scream. "But first... the appetizer," Dorian reveals Joey, who is tied up to a post linked to a machine. Dorian takes some blood from Joey, using the machine. Joey groans in pain. "Joey! Joey!" The guests said. "Alison, darling, do you care for a drink? You seem a bit pent-up," Dorian stated. "I'm not thirsty," Alison answered. Oh, you disappoint me. Bring in the other warm one." Two vampires brought in Liza and tied her up to the machine.

"Liza!" "Guys?! Why am I here?! Why are we all here?!" Liza yelled. "I'm done waiting, Alison!" Vera yelled. "Back off!" Alison smacked Vera. She smashed a smoke bomb and a flash bomb down, and it fires. The guests and Alison run away back into the mansion. In the Ballroom, Liza looks at Joey. "Joey, what is this?" Liza asked. "How did you get here?" Joey asked. " You invited me here, Joey," Liza replied. "I did not invite you here," Joey remarked. "Yes, you did. You invited us to a dinner party and this doesn't look like dinner!"

"What happened to you? Why are you beaten?" "I don't know. I don't remember really much," Joey said. "What is that tube coming out of you?" Liza asked. "They've been... feeding off me."Liza kicked the lever with her boot, leaving Joey free from his chains. He groans in pain, then gets up. Joey gets closer to Liza with the keys that he found. "Who else is here?" Joey asked. "All of us are here to see you for our dinner party. There's Michael, Colin... And... I forgot everyone else's names," Liza explained. Joey remembered them, and he gasped. "Michael and Colin! I remember them, from my estate! They must have had been invited too..." Joey replied. "You have an estate?" Liza asked. He nodded. "Last time, I invited my friends to a dinner party at my estate. Do you think I would invite you and then just be chained up here?" Joey questioned.

"Uh, I don't know... You don't remember how you got chained up. It could be your kink," Liza said. "Kink?" Joey was confused. "I don't know. If you're kinky like that." "No," Joey stated. Joey breaks Liza free. "Oh, that feels so good. Let's get the F out of here," Liza said. He nodded. They start looking around. "Maybe there's some sort of thing that we can use to lure them away. Like your blood," Liza said. "My blood?" "What if you use your blood to lure him away?" "That's a good idea." "You want to put some blood in the goblet?" "Yeah, let's try it." Joey sees a missing symbol on the front of the machine. "You know what that symbol is?" Liza asked. " That's the symbol for life, I'm pretty sure," Joey stated.

"How do you know that?" I played Yu-Gi-Oh! as a kid, and there was like a card on there that said..." "I didn't go to college. I'm not very educated." "Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a card game, so..." Oh. I guess I don't have to go to college for that. Joey finds a note on top of the machine. "Okay, The machine holds the secret to slaying the king of the vampires." Liza takes out the spoon from her outfit and puts it into the lock. It opens, and there is a book inside.

Joey opens the book. "The wooden stake of Van Helsing, the great hunter of vampires, is in-bueded with dark magic from the blood of 1,000 dead vampires. To prevent it from being used to kill him, Dorian kept it here in the ballroom. Three ankhs must be placed in the machine and turned upside-down to reveal its location." They start looking For ankhs, Liza finds two, and Joey finds the last one. They put them on the machine, and turn them upside down. A stake and a book fall from the ceiling into the ground.

In the Billiard Room, the rest of the guests gather around the table. "So I think we're all thinking the same thing. We should get out of here 'cause there are vampires, but we can't leave Joey," Colin stated. "If you want to save Joey, we have to take down my father. Okay, now, a stake to heart is not going to be enough to kill a vampire as powerful as my father. He has to be placed in a circle of purified salt, burned by a sunstone, and then stabbed. My father used to keep purified salt in this room in case there's a rebel vampire. I'll keep watch for you all. If there's a vampire coming, you'll hear this bell," Alison explained. She rings the bell. "If they come, you need to get out of sight. If they see you, they'll drag you away. Okay?"

The guests nodded. "Now, you gonna ring that bell, right?" DeStorm asked. "I'll ring the bell. I promise," Alison said. "What do we have?" "We have the map. And a key." "Did anybody check in, like, the cushions?" "Did anybody check in Tana's cleavage?" The group starts to find little baby scrolls that have a number and a letter on them and a shape. Alison rings the bell. Everyone hides, but Lauren gets taken by a vampire. When the vampire and Lauren leave, the guests come out. "Okay, so what all do we have?" "We have seven scrolls, half a map, and that's it. And the key." Alex finds the other scrolls.

DeStorm puts the key into the box and opens it. "Recreate the king's last game of pool using these nine numbered balls. Leave the others in the pocket. Use a cue to line them up perfectly. The room holds the combination." The guests set up the game, and play pool. The box opened. The key opens a glass case with pool cues. "But we need salt, not pool cues," Colin said. "What did she say we needed to do?" "She said that we need-" "A circle of salt." "And what?" "And then we stab him." "Wait, wait, wait, are we stabbing someone?" "No, we can't stab him. Let's just use Colin's gun," Jesse said. "My gun won't be enough," Colin replied.

Alison rings the bell again. Everyone hides, but Andrea gets taken by Vera, a vampire."You smell nice. Come with me. Come with me, sweetie!" "You guys, help me! You guys, help! You guys, you're just gonna let her take me?!" Andrea yelled. Vera and Andrea left. The guests came out of hiding. DeStorm opens a pool cue, and the bottom of the pool stick opens up, which has the salt inside it. "That's why I'm a billionaire," DeStorm said. They put the salt into the jar and checked the rest of the sticks. A male vampire walks into the room. Alison smacks the vampire, chokes him, and sucks his blood. "Still don't trust me?" Alison said, wiping the blood away from the dead vampire. "Damn, girl!" Jesse said, shocked.

Back in the Ballroom, Joey and Liza run over to the stake and book. Liza picks up the book, while Joey gets the stake. "The only way past your guard is to impale him in the heart." "We have to murder him," Joey said. "We have to kill him?" Liza questioned. "I've never killed anybody before. Let alone a vampire," Joey replied. "Are you into murdering?" "Let's go for it. These vampires have kept me their prisoner, and I'm ready to get my vengeance." Joey and Liza opened the door. "Hey!" Joey yelled. The vampire guard looked at Joey, and he stabbed the vampire in the abdomen.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Chapter Text

Alison proved herself when she took out another vampire. Jesse and DeStorm took the vampire outside. Joey and Liza untie Andrea and Lauren from the poles. "How did you get out?" "Oh, my gosh!" "What happened?" "Hi!" "Oh, my God! You're okay!" "Joey just killed a vampire!" Liza said. "You killed a vampire?!" "Yep!" Joey tightly grips the stake and smiles. "Well, Alison is helping us. She's a vampire. A friendly one," Lauren said. "I already don't trust her," Joey replied. "Really?" "If you saw what the vampires did to me, you would never trust the vampires."

The other guests find Joey and Liza. "Joey! Liza!" The guests said. They all hug each other. "Joey, where have you been?" "I don't know why you guys are here," Joey said. "You invited us!" "I swear, I did not invite you guys here. This was not supposed to happen." Michael pulls out the invitation. Joey looks at it. "Mikey, thank you for showing me this... I think I was under a spell," Joey said. "I told you my father was lying to you. This isn't his estate. The owner is a sorceress. If she has eyes on you, your days in this world are numbered. The only way home is in the carriage that you came. It's this way," Alison explained. Joey didn't trust her. The guests followed Alison.

"Alex let Lauren get taken." "What?" "I would break up if I was you." "Hey, we got her back. That's all that matters!" They go to the path where the carriage is, but it is nowhere to be found. Liza gives Alison a journal. "There are only rumors that this even existed..." Alison said. "It's not safe out here. Come with me," Alison stated. They followed her into the lounge. "This is beautiful," Colin told. The guests sat on the couches. "That's the sorceress who owns the estate. There's a crown that's rumored to be the tool to take her down. This journal... tells us how to get it." "How do we unlock it?"

Colin gives Alison a makeup wipe. She uses it. "Wait a minute. I got a key on my watch," DeStorm stated, "That seems suspicious! Why do you have a key, first of all?" Michael questioned. "Pass me the book," DeStorm said. "Pass me the watch," Liza replied. The guests gasp. Alison puts the makeup wipe away. "How about both of you pass it to me?" Colin said, pulling out his gun. Jesse raised an eyebrow. "Damn..." "Don't mess with the bodyguard." DeStorm and Liza handed the items and Colin opened the journal. "Okay, read it, read it, read it." Colin read aloud.

"If you seek the Crown of Oblivion, be prepared for the death to follow. The sorceress was once a peasant girl who made a deal with a cursed god for power. She murdered the keeper of this estate and trapped it in time so she might live forever. She has been gathering an army in preparation for a spell that will open a portal to the modern world and make her empress over all time. The spell requires the evil Joey..." "Joey?!" "It does not say that! He's lying!" Joey remarked. Colin continues.

"The spell requires the evil Joey carried with him and nine innocent lives from the modern day. There are eight gems of power kept by the lieutenants. If they can be gathered and placed on the map, the Crown will be revealed. With the glitch in the system, the anomaly must be contained and stopped before it hits the mainframe. The wearer of the Crown will have the power to stop her spell and return home. However, obtaining a gem will require unraveling dark mysteries and voting on two who must undertake a terrible challenge that will end in death.

"Time is short. By morning, her spell will be complete, and there will be no future to return to." "My father wears a gem around his necklace. I've seen it before. Now, if we find the sun stone, we have everything we need to destroy him," Alison explained. "Is there anything we can do with what we have on the map so far?" "It looks like there are figures of people on there." There are two obelisks and two hands, and figures of people. Joey takes the two obelisks and puts them together. Lauren finds a piece of paper and traces it onto the glowing table. "Here's what's gonna happen. Each of us, I think, has to take one spot... In this order." Tyler counts everyone, and they head to the foyer.

The group sees a vampire. The vampire looks around, then leaves. The guests position themselves based on the numbers on the map, and Andrea goes upstairs. She brings down the rope, and everyone makes a puzzle based on it. A chest opens and reveals a stone. Alex takes the stone. "So we have the sun stone, we have the stake, and we have the salt. Now we have to figure out how to kill the king," Jimmy stated. The group followed Alison into another room.

"Every full moon, my father gives a vampire the opportunity to dine with him alone. If the vampire answers the riddle that he asks correctly, they get his honor. But, if they answer incorrectly, the vampires drain of all their blood. Being his daughter, I have the privilege of knowing the answer. Who would like to go in?" Alison explained. "I can't. That's too much pressure," Lauren said. "Do it for the team." I'll do it," Jesse said. "Are you sure you don't wanna do it, Lauren?" Joey asked. "No, no, no. Not my Lauren," Alex replied. "Okay, Jesse it is. So the answer to the riddle will be history. We have one problem: We have to get the human scent off you," Alison said, putting her hands together.

They went outside to the male vampire. "I need to take two big gulps of the vampire's blood? That's crazy, man!" Jesse said. "Do it, Jesse!" Jesse drank the vampire's blood. "That was the weirdest thing I ever did," Jesse said. "One more thing. You have to put on this mask so they don't recognize you." Alison put a mask on Jesse. Jimmy and Liza volunteer to make a circle with salt. Alex has the sun stone. He will shine it on Dorian. Joey will hit him in the chest with a stake. "You smell like a vampire. You look great. Walk confidently and pray nothing goes wrong," Tyler said.

Jesse walks confidently into the Ballroom. Vera walks towards Jesse and takes his hands. "Hey. You look ravishing tonight," Vera said. "Thanks," Jesse said. "Mmm... are you here with anyone?" She asked. "No. Not at all." Jesse and Vera walk over to a couch and sit down together. "Although our hearts are heavy with this evening's betrayals, we will not abandon traditions. It is a full moon. Time to see who will win the king's favor," Dorian announced. Outside, Jimmy and Liza make the circle. Joey and Alex get ready with the stake and sun stone. "This is crazy," Michael whispered. "I know," Colin whispered in reply.

Inside, Dorian cleared his throat. "I can be... created in the present. You may always find me in the past. But the future can never make me. What am I?" Dorian asked. Jesse waits for a second to see if anyone else will know the answer. Nobody answers. Jesse raises his hand. Dorian looks at Jesse. "History?" Jesse said. Dorian comes down the stairs towards Jesse. Vera looks at them. "Well...So quick to answer. That...is correct! You have won the king's favor for the evening. Please...join me in my private quarters where we can discuss more... serious matters," Dorian stated. Jesse stood up and walked with Dorian outside. Jesse slowly steps away from him. Alex shines the sunstone at Dorian, and Joey comes out of nowhere like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and stabs him in the chest. "I'm a vampire slayer!" Joey exclaimed.

Joey gets the necklace. Everyone cheers for Joey. Another vampire walks down the steps. The guests get behind Colin and Alison. "Where do you think you're going?" The Vampire Queen asked. "Guys, we have a problem!!" The vampires start coming out of the ballroom. Jesse rips off his mask, and Colin points his gun towards the vampires. "I don't know who any of you are, and frankly, I don't care. Kill them all!" The Vampire Queen announced. "Wait! Mother, these are my friends!" Alison screamed.

"I'm sure your friends are going to taste delicious," The Vampire Queen replied. "No. Father was killed in the proper way. I demand you honor Vampire law, a life for a life. "My God, you're stubborn! Very well then! A life for a life. Which one of your friends are you going to send to their death?" The Vampire Queen asked. The guests went back into the lounge with Alison. "Let me just say, first off, he got the key, never explained it. The key opened up a journal, and he tried to pin it on Joey!" Liza stated. "It's shady that you had the key, and we wouldn't have needed it had we not been here in the first place," Jimmy said.

"Your name was on the invitation, and we wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for you," Lauren spoke. "Oh, sure! Let me invite you to my party, then all of a sudden, let me chain myself up and be all kinky and stuff! No! That's not me! I'm sweet! I'm a sweet boy!" Joey remarked. "Who hasn't done anything?" Tyler and Liza said together. Joey, Jimmy, and Tana stand up and talk. "Lauren has to go." "She's right there!" "We've all risked something." Lauren goes to Jimmy. "Hi!" Joey said, in a cute voice. "So you'd like to kill me off?" "I don't wanna kill anybody, Lauren. We just think that you should fight for...your life. That's it."

"I think I'm being victimized. I've been cooperative. And I haven't done anything wrong, but DeStorm has had so many shady things happen to him, and I'm somehow put on the same level.." "You didn't do anything wrong, but you didn't do anything right. And you had an opportunity to step up and help the team, and you backed out," Jimmy commented. "I didn't think I would be strong enough for the challenge and have someone on our team killed. We didn't know what we were getting into," Lauren explained. "Well, what about Michael? He's pretty suspicious. With his bodyguard and everything," DeStorm told.

"Me?! I didn't do anything wrong! Colin is my buddy!" Michael replied. "Stop going after Mike! He's trustworthy!" Tyler said. Everyone sat down. "Okay, okay, last thing. If you're gonna vote Lauren, please vote for me instead, 'cause I'd rather do the challenge than let her go through it," Alex said. "Let's just vote." "Voting is simple. One by one, you'll pick the card for the person you'd like to vote into the challenge. I'll then shuffle and draw two. The two names that are drawn will go down to find the golden goblet," Alison explained.

The guests come up one by one, and vote. Alison shuffles the cards. She looks at the card, and shows everyone. "Lauren," Alison said. She pulled out the next card, and called for DeStorm. If you two would follow me. Everyone else can stay," Alison stated. Lauren and DeStorm followed Alison. They went into the ballroom. All of the vampires looked at them. "Each one of you must unravel three clues to find the location of the golden goblet. Take your starting place. And don't take too long! Otherwise, we'll have to kill you both. And wouldn't that be a shame? Begin!" The Vampire Queen announced.

DeStorm and Lauren start their challenge. "In the center of three celestial points, silver waits." DeStorm finds 3 stars, while Lauren is still looking. Lauren finds some snakes, while DeStorm finds some silver. "I died in battle and need to pay the ferryman to carry me to my eternal rest. Can you please find my coffin which is marked... by the sign of my faith."Destorm goes to the machine and pulls out the coffin. Lauren gets a coin from the snakes and follows DeStorm. Lauren pulls out her coffin. They start doing math equations. "DeStorm, I can't think!" "I'm trying to figure mine out!" DeStorm finds the answer, and opens the coffin. He feeds the guy in his eyeballs, give him the silver, and then one of the vampires rewarded him with the third clue.

DeStorm goes to the vampire. "Take my sword and slay the dragon who took my life." "If y'all come over here, I'ma slay your asses too!" DeStorm exclaimed. He slayed the dragon, and the drawer opens. "The golden goblet is beside the queen's throne. Present this to her." He gives the letter to the queen. She goes into her little chest. Lauren tries to get the lock open, but she can't. The queen gives DeStorm the Golden Goblet. "Right. Now that we've got that finally over and done with, can we please kill the other one?" The Vampire queen announced. The vampires went over to Lauren. Lauren screamed.

"Yeah, kill her! Kill her!" DeStorm yelled. The vampires kill Lauren. Destorm walks out with confidence to the lounge. The guests look at DeStorm as he walks in. Alex gasps. "No!" "Is Lauren dead?" "I tried to help her as much as I could." "What is that for? Why do you have that?" Colin asked. "I have no idea." DeStorm put the goblet down. "What happened to Lauren?" "All of the damn vampires attacked her, and I couldn't save her, so that's when we dipped up outta there real quick," DeStorm explained. Alex stood up. "All I heard was you killed Lauren!" Alex screamed. "I didn't kill her. What do you mean?!" DeStorm said. "It's your fault! You did this!" Alex started crying.

"If we wanna get outta this, we have to work together," Michael said. "I'm not working with anybody!" Alex yelled. "What are gonna do next? - We have to find seven more of those in exchange for seven lives." "That's the only way?" I'm in," Tyler said. "There's something I need to show you." Alison takes out a panel and reveals something. "What is that?" "This...is the gem map." "Should I put it in?" Joey asked. "Put it in." "Careful, Joey. We don't know what this does." Joey puts the gem in.

Chapter 3: Chapter 3

Chapter Text

"Okay. Nothing happened." "That's it?" Now what?" Smoke fills the hallway. Colin puts on his mask, and everyone looks at the hallway. The Sorceress comes out, and they finally get to meet her face-to-face. "Did you really think you could escape my grasp? You're just the pre-show for tonight's true extravaganza of blood and suffering! None of you are leaving this place alive!!!!" The Sorceress shouts. The door to their right opens up. A spider lady with a bunch of eyes comes out. Then, Jesse is dragged away. The Sorceress leaves, and the door closes. Colin takes off the mask.

"What was that?" "That was definitely a spider woman." Tana looks at a box. "Break the seal and pour." DeStorm had a goblet in his hand, and it was the goblet that he received from the vampire queen. So he opened up the bottom of the goblet. He finds a little bottle, and they break the seal of the box. It says, "Jorogumo liked to liquor up her boy toys with four shots before taking them to bed for the final time." They find four little tiny bottles, and then Joey finds a tray of liquor. "Drink up, but choose wisely, or your first one will be your last." "I'll do it," Michael stated. "Are you sure you want to do it? I can do it with you," Tana said. "No no. I will take care of Alex. I have Colin to protect me," Michael replied. The guests match up the liquids with the vials.

"Okay, Michael, it's your time! Have a drink!" Tyler announced, smiling. Michael drinks the 4 correct shots. They line up the shot glasses with the liquids and the vials. The box opens, and inside is a jewel. They stick it on the door, and it pops open. They enter the library and see Joey wrapped up in spider webs on the desk. Colin and Michael start ripping the spider webs, and Jesse wakes up. Alex taps DeStorm's shoulder. "What?" DeStorm asked. "I know I accused you of killing my girlfriend, but do you just wanna... Slip out?" Alex requested. DeStorm shrugged, and they slip out.

Jesse has a key attached to him. "Are you okay?" Michael asked. "I don't know what happened. I just woke up in here! And this is disgusting..." Jesse said. "But you drank vampire blood about an hour ago. Why did you end up in this web?" Joey asked. " Maybe they don't like vampires," Tyler answered. "Oh." "You guys, where's Alex and DeStorm?" Jimmy questioned. "I have a feeling that they were taken," Colin stated. "Oh great, they're missing. Now what?" Meanwhile, Alex and DeStorm find Jorogumo's minions. "How's it going?" One of the minions said. "Uh, everything's good," Alex replied. "Do you want some fun with us?" "You look very nice."

They went upstairs and cheered their glasses. Alex and DeStorm took a shot. "Kira," Kira said. "I'm Eden. What's yours?" Eden asked. "I'm DeStorm. You're not a spider, are you?" DeStorm proposed. "What do you think?" "I don't know, but whatever it is, I like it." Downstairs, in the library, Tyler opens the cabinet. He grabs the letter and reads it aloud. "My brotherhood of thieves have been lured here by maidens I curse meeting. I don't know the fate of my men, but I hope their deaths were quick. They promised us a gem whose value defied all others, but Jorogumo keeps it at the center of her precious web. I have hidden our plan to steal the gem in a red book."

The group pulls out red books. Joey opens one and finds a decoder. The group goes outside, and they see these body-size cocoons, and they're completely drained of blood. "I found a note!" "What does it say?" "These two are drained of their fluids and I am once again hungry." "I bet you it's the same size as what this is." Jimmy and Liza tear the cocoons apart. "I found something!" "The samurai warrior drove his katana through the neck of the beast, then made the world sink underneath it." They put the decoder on top of it. "Set on the sun." They set it on the sun, and a chest opens up in the library. They go into the library and find four kanji symbols on the walls with the light. "Jorogumo...Kills all." Everyone said in unison.

The chest opens. "Fake stones!" "They're almost perfect fakes. I made two in case one of my men perished. Our plan was to swap them out with Jorogumo was unaware, but we never made it that far into her web." "Okay, so we need to go find the web and get our friends back."

Upstairs, DeStorm, Jesse, Kira, and Eden play poker. "How about five-card draw? And just to make it a little bit more fun...Losers lose a piece of clothing. One winner per round. Everyone else takes off something," Kira explained. Alex and DeStorm agreed. "Here, let me deal 'em up. I'm fast. "Do you got any tricks?" "I do." "Anybody need some more to drink?" "She's trying to get us tipsy." Oh, our friends like to, uh... play hard," Eden said. "So who are your friends?" Kira asked. "Alison," Alex and Destorm said. "She used to play with us," Eden replied. "Okay, well, I don't have anything, so I guess we're taking off another piece of clothing. I'll go with my shoe." Kira takes off her shoe.

"This is what I came for. This is the life." "I've never played strip poker before. I'm excited." Eden laughs. "What do you think about that?" "I'm thinking everything about that." "I'm never going home." "We have a little reading session." Eden and Kira grabbed two books. "Aw, come on. We ain't come to read. I ain't going back to school-" Then, Kira and Eden stabbed both of them with syringes. Alex and DeStorm pass out.

Downstairs, the front door opens. Everyone runs outside, and they scream as they find Alex and DeStorm, with Kira and Eden. Jorogumo descends from the sky. "They're mine now! Men are meals to be taken at will, and these two will taste nice. However, I like to watch my prey struggle. I will exchange these two males for one female life. Select two women by vote who will try and escape my web. Go!" Jorogumo said. The rest of the group went into the lounge to vote. "That was scary," Colin said, shocked. "Aren't you a veteran? How did that scare you?" Tana asked. "War and Spiders are two different things," Colin replied.

"Listen, I have an idea. What if we put the weakest girl and the strongest girl in? So that way we know we're just gonna come back with the strongest girl, then we get rid of the weakest link. I mean, if you think it's me, then put me in, but I think I'm not the weakest one," Andrea schemed. "I think the two weakest should battle it out. I mean, one of them has to end up winning. And then we get rid of two weak," Jimmy said. "How about you guys plead your cases to us, since the gentlemen are safe?" Joey told. The guys and the girls separated. The guys sat on the right side, while the girls sat on the left.

The girls plead their cases. "Joey wouldn't be sitting here on this couch if it wasn't for me," Liza said. "That's true," Joey replied. "Love you, Joey." "Thank you, Liza." "I shouldn't go in because I contributed a lot too, and I think that I am a strong addition to this team. I've been trying to make bold moves that I think other people might be scared to make, like I veered off from the group in that room all by myself, found that door, walked in there, found that little box," Jimmy stated. Everyone votes. "Jimmy and Tana," Alison said. "Oh my..."

"Jimmy, Tana, it's time to go. Bring the gems. Each of you," Alison stated. Jimmy, Tana, and Alison go outside for the challenge. "To escape my web, you must each overcome three challenges. Inside will be your next instruction. Do not dally. I am hungry," Jimmy and Tana read. They both find their first note. "I would never kill another woman. It is one of my men who is going to die. They were simply bait to lure you in for my entertainment." Jimmy climbs the web and swaps the gems. Jorogumo comes out with DeStorm and Alex, and she says: Who will you save? "DeStorm," Jimmy replied. Alex sighs. Jimmy, Alison, DeStorm and Tana leave. Alex screams as Jorogumo devours him.

They head back into the lounge. "What happened?" Michael asked. "What is going on?" "Jimmy and I had to compete to save one of the guys. And I lost," Tana explained. "Are you kidding me?" "The spiders didn't want us girls. They wanted one of the guys," Jimmy replied. "I can't believe Jorogumo lied to us. I feel like we're playing a game with someone else's rules that they're constantly changing," Joey said. "You bitches can't kill me. I'm powerful and invincible because I can cheat death," DeStorm declared, proudly. "Why does Jimmy look like DeStorm now?" "We came around the corner as an alliance, as a team."

"I'm not happy that I got sent to final death. Obviously, I didn't like climbing a web in these shoes, and obviously, I'm coming back a little bit tougher, a little bit more cautious, and a little bit warier, but at the end of the day, we still have to work together to figure this out. We have a gem. We're one step closer," Jimmy said, putting the gem in. "Wait, there's a note." "Two dead and more to go. I wonder which horrid face will be next. I would start praying. After midnight, things change. The Sorceress," Tyler read. "What time is it now?" Colin asked. "It's only four hours until midnight," Alison announced.

"Is this, like, a game to her?" "I'm hungry." "She said at midnight is when something's gonna happen." "What is that?" "Oh, that's an axe and a gun," Colin said. "Oh! Good eyes." "So somebody's gonna have to fight." "I found this at the doorstep at the beginning of the night," Alison said. She gave the item to Joey, and he opened it. It's a propaganda flyer. Joey read it aloud. "To arms. Your country needs you. Open the key to freedom. Helm the ship of fury. The Dark Army has taken our land. Obedience required. Key to the helm of obedience behind a terrifying face." The group finds a key, and go to the green room.

They find The Helm of Obedience. It says, "The Helm of Obedience. Its wearer must surrender their will to the voice of the Dark Army if they wish to proceed." "So who's gonna do it?" "Colin?" The guests turned to Colin. "You want me to put that on?" Colin asked. "Well, we do trust you. But, you know..." Jesse said. Colin sighed, and took off his hat. He put on the Helm Of Obedience. Michael kept the hat. "Hello, Colin. You must follow my instructions without fail. Or your life will be forfeit. Do you understand?" The voice said. "Yes, I understand," Colin replied.

"Tell your friends to follow you." The guests follow Colin into the foyer. "Go up to the top of the stairs alone." "Stay here," Colin said. He goes upstairs. "Take out your gun." He takes out his gun, and goes down, pointing it at the others. "Colin?" Michael said. DeStorm went off to the side of the group, distancing himself. "You cannot hesitate with this next action, or your life will be over. Do you understand?" Colin nods. "I want you to open the door, step out onto the porch, and shoot the first man you see." He goes over to the porch and shoots a man with his gun.

"Take the bugle from his side." Colin puts his gun away and takes the bugle. Then, Colin takes the Helm of Obedience off. Michael gives Colin his hat. He puts his hat away. "So, now what?" "The next thing to do is to blow this." "Okay. Everybody just be ready for something to happen. Ready?" Colin blows the bugle. Cannons start firing. There are two armies coming together out of nowhere, and they do not look like they like each other. The guests look out the windows."I don't care if you're the last people on the Goddamn Earth, we ain't gonna stop fighting!" The Confederate Leader yelled. "This is our land!" The Dark Army Leader said.

Colin walks outside. "Colin!" Jesse shout-whispered. "Why hello there, You must be Colin Huston," The Confederate Leader said. "Indeed I am. I see you've got a gem," Colin replied. "Oh, you want this. You're gonna have to fight." The guests went outside. "Could you just give it to us, maybe?" "You're gonna have to get dirty. Now, see, the team that loses this here skirmish, one of them's gonna have to die. Whose side y'all fighting on?" "The Confederates are a weak lot. You join me, and we will crush them beneath our heels," The Dark Army Leader said. "The Dark Army will soon be returning to its forgotten myth it once crawled out of. Stick with me and you'll live," Cash stated.

The guests split off into two groups. The Dark Army, with Joey, Michael, Liza, and Tyler. The Confederates with DeStorm, Tana, Jimmy, and Jesse. The two groups go downstairs. The battle is about to begin. The leaders put on armbands for their team. "This side is for the Dark Army. And this side of the estate, for them Confederates. The patio is no man's land and a medical station. The first team to find the location of the flag is the victor. You're allowed one person on each team to stand behind their own territory to stand guard. When in enemy territory, your arm banner can be torn off. And an enemy guest must escort you to the medical station," Cash explained.

"Confederate guys, your mission is to find five golden pegs." "Five red pegs hidden in Confederate territory, and then insert them in your warlock's chest. where you will gain the final item needed to recover the enemy's flag." Cash shoots his gun into the air, and the game starts. Everyone starts looking for pegs. Joey finds a golden peg and puts it into the chest. The Dark Army and the Confederates are running around, screaming, and killing each other. One of the members of the Confederates almost hits Tyler. "Watch where you're aiming!" Tyler yelled. Liza finds the last peg.

"The cannon on the patio has been authorized for your use, soldier. Pour in the powder and let her rip to reveal the enemy flag." The Dark Army guests run up to the cannon and fire it. "We won. Can we have the gem?" "Now, I said, one of you losers is gonna have to die if you still want this. Well, that ain't changed. Two people will have a little showdown. You have to vote," Cash explained. The guests went back inside to vote. "If you wanna go, we can go head to head," Gabbie said. "I've been waiting for this," DeStorm replied. "Oh, my!" "He had the biggest hand in killing Lauren." "DeStorm didn't kill Lauren. And he shouldn't be blamed for Lauren's death." "'Cause his girlfriend deserved to die."

The guests voted. DeStorm and Colin were voted in. Everyone followed Alison outside. "Well, look who it is. I figured it'd be you two lowlifes. You want this, don't you?" Cash said. He threw the gem into the pool. "Cash, how dare you!!" Colin yelled, pointing his gun at him. "Colin, Colin... I'm your friend, see?" Cash replied. "Friend? As a WW1 soldier, I know not to trust idiots like you," Colin remarked. "First person to get the gem out of the pool keeps it. The other's going to the firing squad," Cash explained.

The pool is filled with thousands of gems. DeStorm and Colin take their clothes off, and head into the pool, looking for gems. They start pulling some out, while the others watch from the balcony. "You gotta scoop and check," Tyler said. "Do what now?" ♪ Scoop and check! ♪ That's right! ♪ Scoop and check! ♪ ♪ Scoop and check! ♪ Okay! ♪ Yeah, scoop and check! ♪ That's right!" ♪ And scoop, and check ♪ Okay! ♪ Now, scoop-♪ Everyone started to sing along, and move to the beat. "Okay, let's go!" "There you go!" "Yes! Keep doing that." DeStorm's looking in the shallow end. Jimmy's in the deep end, thinking the gem probably rolled down.

"This is like finding a needle in a haystack." "Good analogy, Joey." DeStorm finds the gem and gets out of the pool. "Time for the execution. See you in hell!" A Dark Army member shoots Jimmy into the pool. The group went back to the lounge. Alison gave DeStorm his clothes, and he changed in the bathroom before they came inside the lounge. "I cannot believe you got it." "That was crazy." DeStorm puts the gem in. "Five left. We're getting there, you guys." "I feel like that means five more people are gonna die." "Wait, there's something else." "What?" "Chocolate," DeStorm said. "Chocolate?"

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Chapter Text

The group heads to the library. "We shouldn't want any one of the other people to die." "Everybody will die if we don't get out of here by dawn." "This whole time, we have been playing by The Sorceress's rules, and we're all dying anyway. We need to do something to outsmart her," Michael said. "So we had vampires. We had spiders. We had Confederates, and now we have a candy bar." DeStorm grabs the chocolate bar. "Damn, we've been here for so long. I would love to have a bite." A delicious, delectable chocolate bar. Smells like pure joy.

DeStorm opens the wrapper. There's a golden ticket inside. "Is that a golden ticket?" Andrea asked. "We're going to see Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory!!" Joey beamed. Once the children have spoken, devour me, and two paths will appear. "Hey, Alison? Can you make us some food? We're really hungry," Tyler suggested. "Of course. I'll make you guys some food," Alison replied. As Colin found a picture, Alison left to make some food. "These must be the kids!" Colin said, pointing at the picture.

"A delicious, delectable chocolate..." "Is this in this picture?" "Smells like pure joy. It's definitely something to do with this." Everyone starts sniffing around. "I found a key!" Liza and Joey push the couch, and reveal a chest. Liza puts the chest on the table, and they open it. "All children love gumdrops." Jesse takes the gumdrops, and puts them into the drawer. Then he pushes it in.

"Someone, please help us, please! We've been locked in the gingerbread woman's oven, and she's going to cook us alive! There's a spell on the door, and only children are allowed to enter the baking room!" The children said. So the children tell the group that they're trapped, but their friend is still stuck in the woods. Lost. They also tell them that the baker is looking for the gingerbread woman's lost recipe for the meat pie. "Hurry! She'll be back in an hour to start the oven! Please, help us!"

One group will go to meat pies, the other will go find the boy. The group eats the chocolate, then the door opens. Alison returns with curry, cutlery and some rice on a tray. "Woah, this smells wonderful, Alison!" "Let's all eat this before we go off. Can't do this on an empty stomach," Colin said. The guests agreed. The group ate the curry. All of their eyes lit up as the flavor exploded in their mouths. They smiled at Alison. "How are you this good at cooking?!" "I'm self-taught, actually. We don't usually cook in my family, so my diet is different than my dad's or my mom's," Alison explained.

Everyone splits off into two separate groups, and immediately start following these candy trails. One is to the recipe, and one is to find a child. DeStorm, Andrea, Joey and Jesse find a gingerbread house that they have to make. Meanwhile, Michael, Tyler, Liza, and Tana go into a dining room. They see chocolates everywhere. "Please find my collection of chocolate confections, and place them correctly in this box. I need a baker's dozen." "That's 13." "Be sure to taste the proper treats to be led to the man whose brains you must eat."

"So far, we've been beating these lieutenants with complete brute force. Is there any way we can outsmart them and get ahead of them? 'Cause it seems like they're always 10 feet ahead of us. If we take out a lieutenant, maybe she'll see that we're not just pawns in her game," Jesse remarked. Liza finds the top half of the box which is a map of where each chocolate goes. Some of them tasted similar. There was a blueberry and a blackberry and a raspberry and a cherry. Fruits! "This could be molasses." "No, this is molasses, it just has blue dye on top to throw you off. "What is this?" "That goes right here. It holds these up."

"This is raspberry cream. This has to be. So switch these two. As soon as they place every correct chocolate in the 13 slots, the door pops open. And there's more candy on the ground. This candy is another trail up the stairs and into a bedroom. "Oh, my gosh!" "Okay, you guys decorate. I'll hold." Andrea finds the key inside the gingerbread house, and they run to the next room. "This is creepy. A little girl's room." "I do love to surprise the children with things to eat, especially things that make them gag. I particularly love brains." Tyler opens the big box, and there is a guy's bust, but it's all made of cake. They start tearing the cake apart and eat the "brains". The cabinet opens up. And there is a large book. "The Most Delicious Recipes" "This is the recipe book!" "This is the book!"

"Secret meat pie, more valuable than a king's fortune." Tyler rips out the recipe, and the group heads to the baking room.

The other group runs outside, and look for the lost child. "Nine pieces of candy must be placed on the Golden Stones to lure the lost child from the woods. Once all of them are placed, a child will appear to open the gingerbread room." They start placing the candy, and a child appears. "Is that candy? Wow. There's so many!" The child said. " Hey, hi. We're here to save you." "Who are you? I'm not gonna share my candy if that's what you want." "No-no-no. You can have it. You can have the candy." "We need your help to find your friends." The boy nods and runs to the baking room. The others run and follow him.

Alison and Colin catch up with the full group. The little boy gives them access to the gingerbread room. Inside is a man surrounded by so many sweet treats. "How did you all get in here?" "It's time for you to go home now," Alison said to the child. The child leaves. Joey opens the oven, and the two children run out. "We need your necklace." "But the gingerbread woman gave it to me. If I give it away, she'll... She'll hurt me." Tyler shows the recipe. "That's her secret meat pie recipe. That's worth a fortune." "We'll trade you." Right when he is about to give the gem, the gingerbread woman walks in. "Oh, do we have guests? Well, it's a good thing I just whipped up a nice batch of hot cocoa. Please, have one."

Suddenly, as the Gingerbread Woman notices the recipe, a system message pops up. "Anomaly has been detected. Would you like to go to the Mainframe?" The message read, there were two buttons in front of Michael. YES and NO. Michael tapped yes, and he was teleported to the mainframe with Colin and Tyler. In The Mainframe, there were many lines of code running from the machine and to it. "This looks like it came out of a sci-fi movie," Colin remarked. "Yeah. So what do we do here?" Tyler asked. Michael notices the glitches sparking from the machine. They runs towards it. "Michael, what's going on?" Tyler questioned. "Tyler, I'm from another universe. The system is glitching out, and we need to stop them," Michael explained.

"So, what's your name, then?" "My name is Joey Graceffa. The other Joey who you know very well named me Michael," Michael told. Colin finds some glitch-interruptor guns, and hands them to Michael and Tyler. A big glitch starts appearing in front of the trio. It's a hooded figure, with a plague doctor mask. "Hello, Joseph Michael Graceffa..." The hooded figure said. "Who are you, and why are you doing this?" Colin asked. "What do you think, Colin Wentworth? Hmm?" The hooded figure asked. The trio pointed their guns. They fired at the hooded figure, and he disappeared. Suddenly, the hooded figure started glitching everywhere. The trio fired their guns at it, hoping to neutralize it. Michael finds three levers, and a glass chamber.

The trio nod at each other, and start firing at it, until it reaches the chamber. Colin shoots the figure, and the mask disappears into purple glitches. A purple essence started to leak out of the hooded figure's eyes, onto the floor, and into the air. Tyler, Michael, and Colin throw the levers down. "You haven't seen the last of me..." The hooded figure said. The gas removes the glitches and the purple essence. "That sounded... British?" Michael said, confused. "Oh great, we're dealing with a British glitch." Colin laughed.

The trio pointed their guns at the machine and restored it. "There. That should remove the glitches for a while," Tyler said. Michael, Colin, and Tyler returned to the lounge. Alison was cleaning the lounge. "Oh, hey," Alison said. "Hey, Alison. What's going on?" Tyler asked. "Andrea and Liza are doing the challenge. They should be walking out right about... now," Alison replied. "How long were we in The Mainframe for?" Michael shrugged. "Nice guns, by the way." "Thanks, we just got them." They went outside. Andrea and Liza returned with the gem and a scroll.

All of a sudden, a cloud of smoke appears. And there's The Sorceress. "I think you forgot something. It's the most important part. One of you must die," The Sorceress remarked. Andrea gets taken by the harpies, and the harpies kill Andrea. "Run along now. Things are just starting... To get fun." The Sorceress laughed. "All we can do from this point forward is move on," Alison said. "I don't think these gems will ever be worth the lives of our friends, though. I wish there was another way," Joey replied. "If we try to outsmart her, it's not gonna end well. We can't do it. We need to play by the rules," Michael announced.

Chapter 6: Chapter 6

Chapter Text

The group heads back to the library. "Guys, we can't blame each other. They're forcing us to do this. What scares me the most is that we're not working as a team," Colin said. "Okay, so how many more gems do we have to get?" "Four. And we have this." "Let me see." "To recover the next gem, outsider, you must save our world from the ice witch's evil wrath. I have placed a compass in the hearth. That can lead you to our realm." DeStorm and Jesse push the bricks and find a compass.

"The compass will lead you to the portal between worlds, but its source of magic has faded in your realm. My spellbook has an incantation that will restore its magic." Joey finds a spellbook. "The spell to restore magic requires two components: a vial of maiden's blood and ash remains of a hero. One is hidden in the dining room, and the other is in the sick room on the second floor. Recover these, and you'll be ready to cast the spell."

They find the vial and ashes after splitting up and return to the library. "Make a circle with the ash, and place the object inside. And then speak the words of the spell as the maiden's blood is dripped around the ash and circle." The group sets up the ritual. "Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey."Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey. Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey." This is the compass. "My light will lead you into forgotten realms. It will glow brightest when you move in the proper direction."
They take the compass, and head outside.

"The heroes of our prophecy have arrived. Our world has been cursed, and we need your help," The woman said. "Okay, how do we help?" Tyler asked. "The once lowly ice witch has obtained a gem, giving her great power. To defeat her, you will need to find the unquenchable fire, which lies on The Path of Betrayal. To get to the path, you will need to find the talisman. Two evil harpies got the talisman. And they will tear you to pieces unless you have a great warrior by your side."

Everyone looks at Colin. "What?" "You're a warrior," DeStorm remarked. "A soldier. Also, there's no way I'm going up against those harpies," Colin replied. "But we have these Glitch Interrupters," Tyler said. "They're only for the glitches. Doesn't work against harpies," Michael explained. "Unless you zap them," Jesse said. "Torhil The Undying was such a warrior. The last spell in my book has the power to reverse the witch's curse and free him." Joey opens the spellbook. "To dispel a curse, you will need tears from a fairy and the moss king scepter. Both lie here, hidden in the woods."

The guests go inside the enchanted forest. There is a flute in the grass. Joey picks it up and plays a tune on the flute. A fairy appears out of nowhere. "You called?" "Yes, we need your tears." "Why? What are you going to use them for? Evil spells?" "No, good spells. We wanna break a curse." "All right, but first, you must make me laugh," The fairy explained. "What makes you laugh?" "You figure it out." "What did the blanket say when he fell off the bed?" "What?" "Oh, sheet." "Okay, let's do the spell, let's do the spell," Tana said. "Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey! Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey! Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey! Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey! Pella Embella Templa Ella Ey!" The guests said, making a song out of it. The fairy laughed.

The fairy gives her tears to the group. "Found the sceptre!" Michael announced. "Where was it?" "In the moss." The group heads to the ice statue of Torhil. "Spell to reverse the ice curse: place the scepter at the base of the subject, and sprinkle the fairy tears on their eyes. Then move 20 paces from the subject before reading the words of the spell." Michael places the scepter, and DeStorm puts the tears on their eyes. They back up 20 paces and say the spell. "Lova Tomara Entepla. Yalla Ana Baragala Entempla."

The curse breaks, and Torhil is released. "You freed me from that frozen tomb. I am in your debt," Torhil said. "We need your help. Can you help us defeat the ice queen?" Joey asked. "Yes, I will. You'll have to follow me." The guests follow Torhil to where the talisman is. "This is where the harpies lie. Should they attack, mind their claws. They carry a poison that can kill a Northern mammoth," Torhil explained. "Okay Colin, can you kill those harpies?" "I'm not gonna shoot them!" Colin said. "Look man, it's not that hard! Just-" DeStorm grabs Colin's arm, and the gun goes off, killing the harpies instantly. "DeStorm! Why'd you do that?!" Tyler questioned. "He has a gun. Easy kill," DeStorm replied. Joey facepalmed.

Torhil takes the talisman and gives it to Michael. "What do we do now?" Liza asked. "Kill that ice witch," Torhil said. Then, the group went to the Path Of Betrayal. Michael gives the guard the talisman. "Michael and Colin, why don't you guys go in? That way we know you're not going to kill us," DeStorm remarked. "Alright," Colin shrugged. Michael and Colin went on the Path Of Betrayal. "Along the path are five riddle boxes, each containing a key. To make it past the second guardian, "you will need to gather three keys. You must each walk the path separately, and only one of you will be able to gather enough."
Colin and Michael find 3 puzzle boxes. You feel yours but never see it, never will. "I think it's a heart," Colin said. Michael put it in and got the key. Loves to fall, but cannot climb. "Oh, water!" Michael replied. Colin got the second key. 30 white horses. First they champ, then they stamp. Then they stand still. "Teeth!" Both of them said at the same time. They find the last key and take the unquenchable fire. When they go further down the path, they find a table with the remaining guests' names on stones. "Choose the friend you will betray. Smash their name upon the ground, and the ice witch will be revealed."

"We're safe!" Michael hugged Colin. He smiled. "So, who do we betray?" Colin asked. "Out of everyone here... Tana. She's not gonna help us," Michael replied. Colin looks at Joey's stone. "What is it, Colin?" Michael asked. "It's nothing. I'm just worried about him. What if he is evil?" Colin replied. "I don't know, Colin. But we know we can trust each other. Now, let's break this thing," Michael replied. Colin nodded. He grabbed Tana's stone and smashed it onto the ground. The guard opened their eyes and slashed Tana's stomach.

"Do you want to know something, Colin?" Michael proposed. "Sure, what is it?" Colin replied. They walked to the cave. "In my universe, your name is Colin Wentworth," Michael answered. "That's interesting. But the diary said-" "I know. It was probably a glitch." At the cave, the ice witch had appeared. Michael raised the torch, and it killed the ice witch. They find a letter, but no gem. "Your path is complete. Return to your friends." They return to the group. "We had to walk the Path of Betrayal, and we had to betray one of you guys, and we... We had to choose somebody," Michael explained.
"Did you face the ice queen?" "Yes, we killed the ice queen," Colin said. "I am sorry for your loss, but you have saved our entire land, and for that, I am forever in your debt. This contains a piece of my magic. May it serve you well." Sireen gives Joey a crystal. They head back to the lounge. "Great. So we have no gem, but a crystal?" DeStorm said. "We still need to work together." Everyone nodded. "So, what's next?" Alison asked.

Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Chapter Text

Suddenly, the group hears a loud siren noise. "The home-defense system has been enabled. The estate is secure." They follow the noise and find a machine. Alison finds the components of the machine quickly. She puts the components in, and the crystal as well. "Pull the lever, Kronk!" Liza said. Joey pulls the lever. "Subject, automaton bride. She's hooked up to a machine. Attempt 685. The generator powering her heart... Broke under the constant strain. The friction was just too much. I need a human heart to do this. My conscience is stolen." The recording said.

"It's 7, 2, 9, 9." They put the combination in. Joey finds a container. And inside are blueprints for the automaton bride. Then, the alarm blares. "Critical breach of security. Target number 331 has been compromised. The doors have been locked." The doors lock. And the machine will self-destruct in ten minutes... Unless the override protocol is engaged. "Everybody just start looking for parts!" Colin told. Liza finds a gold thing in a vent. "Where can you plug in a USB?" "There's a key for something." They stop the clock. A man runs in, with his steampunk gun pointed at them.

"You destroyed my life's work!" The man screamed. A woman ran in, and stunned the man with her steampunk gun. " He's only gonna be like that for a couple of minutes. We got to get out of here. Come with me," She said. The group ran with the lady. "Who are you? " Colin asked. "Jetpack Girl. Nice to meet you," Jetpack Girl said. "Who was that?" " That was Cedric. That's my old boss. He's a real asshole sometimes. He built this automaton bride to love him forever, but it only awoke long enough to, like, crush his soul. But he thinks someone sabotaged her. And right now he thinks y'all did it," JetPack Girl explained.

"Yeah, I had everything to do with your automaton bride," Joey mocked, laughing right after. "I know what we got to do. We got to rebuild his bride. You got the blueprints, right? I just--I just want him to see that I can make something that works, you know?" JetPack Girl said. "If we do this, are we gonna get the gem? Um, I think we can arrange that. Follow me to the lab. Watch your ass, because he enabled the home-defense system." "Intruders detected." "Shit. You just stepped on a land mine. It's gonna be fine. Stay put, stay put. Or it'll blow your leg off," Jetpack Girl spoke. She revealed the timer, which said 2 minutes. "Oh! That's less time than I thought you had." "In order to defuse the bomb, we have to hit all these targets around the room with these guns," Jetpack Girl explained.

Alison handed everyone some steampunk guns. Everyone started to shoot the targets. "I got one!" Joey said. "I wanted to be first!" Destorm answered. "Anyone need ammo?" Alison asked. "Got one," Colin told. "Got two." Then, the security measure shuts off. Cedric comes back in, angry as ever. "You'll pay for what you've done!" Cedric yells. Everyone screams and runs. Cedric deploys a net that catches Alison. She struggles to get out and hisses.

Meanwhile, the guests follow JetPack Girl into the Red Hallway, and then the lab. There were broken bits of machine and bodies. "Okay, not gonna lie, this is actually pretty sick," Joey remarked. "You guys got those blueprints?" JetPack Girl asked. "Gather the raw parts. Place them in the elevator at the end of the Red Hall. If they are correct, the master machine upstairs will assemble them so they can be placed on the automaton."

"You guys check it out. I'm gonna go run interference, okay?" JetPack Girl said. "Okay," The guests replied. JetPack Girl left the room. Everyone starts looking in the lab for five raw parts. "Oh, here's a piece. There's a lightbulb, a circle thing, and a little other thing and a thing," Liza said. "I wish Cedric was a little more organized, that's all I'm saying," Michael told. "Oh, my God, you guys. I found something!" Tyler exclaimed. "Yay, Tyler!" "You said we need a key?" "Yeah. "I just found a whole bucket of keys." "Oh. That's not good." They searched through jars and buckets, behind every little inch, every weird, thing.

"I found something!" "Okay, so we just need the lightbulb." Alison bursts into the room, hurt. "Oh, my God, Alison." "Alison!" "We got to hurry. Cedric is readying his Promethean Men. They're big, robotic monsters," Alison explained. "Then we got to be quick," Colin remarked."Need a hand?" Joey said, pulling out a hand. "Oh, my God. Don't do that!" Joey laughed. So they take all five and put them in the elevator down the Red Hall.

Joey takes the gadgets and he puts them into the bride in the lab. "Wait, wait, wait. Wait, what's this?" A box opens. "You would never listen to me even though I was your partner. The thing you must add to your automaton to bring her to life is a real, beating human heart, freshly pulled from a living person." JetPack Girl and Cedric walk in. "She just needs a beating heart. It's what I was afraid to do before. But no longer. One of you will give up your heart so that she can live. Or all of you will die. Select two from among you to do battle with my Promethean," Cedric announced.

Alison pulls out the tarot cards. Everyone votes. "Liza and Tyler," Alison said. Liza, Tyler, and Alison head outside for the challenge. "You must each try to bring the steam machine to life. For every puzzle you solve, a Promethean takes one step closer to the other guest. Solve all four, then pull the lever. The harder you work, the faster you kill your friend." They begin. Liza and Tyler find blueprints, and a pump on the floor that pops up balls. They both complete the first part. Tyler plugs the plugs into the outlets. The bottom chamber opens up, revealing a toolbox. Liza does the same. They start building their puzzles. Liza finishes first and stands up.
"I'm sorry," Liza said. She pulled the lever to her side, and the machine turns on.

The Promethean ripped out Tyler's heart, and the trio went back to the group. Cedric takes Tyler's heart, and puts it into the bride. The bride comes to life, and they dance with music playing in the background. "This is kind of sweet, though. I feel like Cedric is honestly like a romantic. He kind of has a heart," Joey said. "Two hearts. Ew," Michael commented. Cedric gives Liza the gem.

The guests go back to the lounge. Liza puts the gem in. "What time is it?" Colin asked. "It's five minutes to midnight," Alison replied.

"Something is about to go down. We need to be ready for whatever's about to happen," Colin said. "Okay, how much more time do we have? We have less than five minutes and three more gems. If each gem equals a life, one of us can live," Liza spoke. " But we can't do it in that amount of time. We're not speedrunners, like Dream," Michael replied. "Who's Dream?" Joey asked. "A speedrunner," Michael commented. "Oh." "Everyone, it's midnight now," Alison announced. "Wait, there's a note!" Joey said.

"It's midnight in the garden of evil, and it's time we escalated the stakes. My lieutenants are no longer waiting to be found. They're coming for you. - The Sorceress." Someone pounds at the window. "Help me, please!" The Man said. DeStorm decides he wants to open the door and help him out. The man walks in. "You have to-- you have to help me. Please, my son is going to die if I don't do something. We were attacked by a werewolf on the side of the road. I took something from him, a gem the size of my fist. It's unlike anything I've ever seen before. If you help me, I'll give it to you."

"Okay, how do we help?" Colin asked. "The lycanthrope infection hasn't settled into my son's blood yet, and the only way to purge it is with a mixture of quicksilver and wolfsbane. I hear tell that there's a map hidden down by the fountain. Please. We don't have much time" The man said. Everyone followed the man to the fountain. Immediately, everyone goes into search mode. The man starts coughing, then clears his throat. "I found a key!" "And a chest!" Liza puts the chest down and the group finds the keys. The chest opens.

There is a map, which leads them to the stagecoach, which has the wolfsbane. A werewolf comes out and snarls. Colin raises his gun at it. Everyone runs to the stagecoach in fear. "This night has been insane. We've already faced spiders, vampires, a mad scientist, an ice witch, and now werewolves?! We are never gonna get out of here!!" Joey yelled. Inside the carriage, there is a chest. "Only the horses can see the key." "There's a key; they can only see it 'cause they're the only ones that wear these!" Jesse said.

They finally find the wolfsbane, but they still need the quicksilver. "We stashed a safe in the trees along this road to hold the quicksilver we took from the southern bank." "Oh hey, this is where the map ends. "I've never seen anything like quicksilver before. To keep my men from stealing it, I split the combination into three parts. hid one here, another in a greenhouse under the moon, and the last one is in the stone path where you need to keep an eye out for traps. The group splits off and finds the keys.

Later, after some new alliances, the group returns to the chest and unlock it. "What's your name?" DeStorm asked. "Atticus," Atticus replied. Joey finds the quicksilver. Atticus leads the group to Atticus's son. Joey hands the wolfsbane to Atticus, but he backs away. "No. You have to do it," Atticus said. Colin mixes up the ingredients and applies them to the wound. "You folks should probably run. I don't think my father's shared his new condition with you. He got bitten too," Atticus's son said. In the distance, a werewolf snarls. Everyone screams.

"Atticus, we saved your son. You owe us a debt, and we're calling it in!" Alison yelled. "All of you will run the gauntlet, and I will sit here in the fountain. The last straggler will be devoured. At my howl, the gauntlet begins," Atticus announced in his werewolf voice. The gauntlet is essentially a very long, four-part obstacle course. The guests head to the gauntlet. The werewolf howls and everyone begins. First, they have to crawl under some barbed wire. After that, they have to go over a wall. It's survival of the fittest.

The guests finish the gauntlet, one by one. Liza is the last one to finish. "We had a deal," Alison said. "No deal," Atticus replied. "Joey, take the gem," Alison said. Colin takes his gun and looks as the werewolves surround Alison. He shoots all of the werewolves. Alison gives the gem, and they run back to the red hallway. "Okay. That was insane!" Joey said. "Thank Colin, he saved our asses!" Liza said. Colin smiled. "We have a gem, at least," DeStorm said. A monster rode up the elevator. "What the hell is that?!" Joey screamed.

Chapter 9: Chapter 9

Chapter Text

Jesse, DeStorm, Joey, Liza, Colin, and Michael run upstairs to the outside. "I have never seen anything like that before!" Joey said. They find a statue. "What's this?" Jesse asked. "Speak to us, forgotten one, and steal the light from our eyes that we might see." "They're raising their hands. There's a drawing of, like, four figures, and maybe what we have to do is replicate the drawing on the idol," Michael explained. The group nods and say the chant as they replicate the drawing. "Speak to us, forgotten one, and steal the light from our eyes that we might see," They all say together.

The statue lights up, and a book falls out. DeStorm picks it up and opens it. It says, "The sorceress has used the final gem to summon a devourer to aid in her end game. To retrieve the gem, you must venture into the Dark Dimension where it is being kept. Only the twin idols of the cursed god allow passage. To recover the first one, you must make a phone call to hell. And share secret words...with its gatekeeper." "Oh, let's see how the devil's doing!" Joey said. "Call HELL? Are you mad?" Colin questioned. "Can't say I've ever talked to the devil myself, but I feel like sometimes he's in my mind," Michael remarked. "Okay then.." DeStorm replied.

"We need three more gems, and then we can get the Crown to stop the queen." They find a phone booth. "This must be where we call hell," Colin said. DeStorm went inside the phone booth. He finds a note that says: "Please have your telephone billet number ready to operate the telephone." DeStorm picks up the phone and holds it to his ear. "Telephone billet number, please," The operator said. Destorm put the phone back. He opens the chest. "The gatekeeper of hell hides his secret words among the living. "The ritual to reveal their location must be performed in the lounge by three participants who must first drink the blood of a demon."

"What is the sulfur for?" Liza asked. "A drop of sulfur in the correct liquor bottle will reveal the one containing the demon's blood." Jesse opens the scroll. "Place a copper basin at the center and six candles around forming a triangle." "Okay, well, somebody needs to distract him so we can do all that." "I'll distract him. You guys go!" Liza said. The guys nodded. Liza distracted the devourer while the guys went in. "Hey, devourer!" Liza stook her tongue out at it.

Colin gave the guys two candles, and the basin. Joey found a candle. They followed the lines in the lounge and set up the candles. The basin went in the middle. Liza led the monster to the red hallway, and into the lab, where Colin locked him in. Liza went inside and helped the guys. "Colin, Liza!" Jesse said. They set up the ritual. Michael put the sulfur into each of the bottles and found the demon blood. "Okay, who's gonna drink it?" "Jesse, you still smell like a vampire. Even more like one. Did you drink more vampire blood where we were gone?" Joey asked. "Look, he was still there, so..." Jesse replied. Joey sighed.

Michael, DeStorm, and Joey drank the demon blood. "Okay, now what?" Colin asked. "Recite these words and stand in the triangle," DeStorm replied. The trio of guys stand in the triangle and recite the words while holding hands. "From the mouth of the abyss, we summon the crystal of the forsaken and the lost. The stone of the damned release the secret into the world of the living. A crystal falls, and Joey picks it up. The crystal said something in Latin. "Let's go to the library!" Liza said. They went to the library. They start searching, and Colin finds the letter. The group runs outside to the phone booth in safety.

DeStorm goes in and picks up the phone. "Telephone billet number," The operator said. "835219," Destorm replied. "Connecting you now," The operator told. "What do you seek?" The demon spoke. "We need the twin idol of the cursed god," DeStorm responded. "Such a prize cannot be given freely. What are the words you will give in exchange?" The demon asked. "Sanctum Regnum," DeStorm told. "Mortal, what you have spoken will haunt you forever. The Dark Dimension drives all who enter mad," The demon said. He laughed menacingly. The box opened, and DeStorm hanged up.

"It says, my twin lies in the watery darkness." The group runs to the pool. "To uncage the second twin, one must reach into the mouth of a demon and tear out his tongue."Colin grabs the first idol, and they head downstairs. "Okay, this is definitely a demon face, and that looks real slimy and gross!" Joey said, disgusted. DeStorm goes into the demon face and pulls out the tongue. It's a bag with the keys for the chest. They go back to the pool and open the chest. It says, two must be selected by the vote of the group...to enter the Dark Dimension. Those chosen must claim a partner to help them.

JetPack Girl and Alison run over to the guests. "Guys! Follow us!" JetPack Girl said. Everyone runs and follows them into the lounge. "It's time for you all to conduct your vote," Alison announced. "Do you want to talk?" Colin asked. "Yeah, let's talk," DeStorm replied. "I can't believe we have to vote again. We've gone through so much together, and I feel like we're finally, like, bonding and just, like, getting stuff done together," Joey said. "I have an idea. How about if we each put our own names in?" Michael suggested. "I think that's fair and leave it up to fate because it's not just us playing," Liza said. The guests went up, one by one, and voted for themselves, showing the card as they give it to Alison. Alison shuffles and shows the first two.

"Michael and DeStorm," JetPack Girl said. "Okay, you have to choose a partner," Alison told. "I'm gonna pick my brother, Joey," Michael explained. "Jesse, let's do this," DeStorm spoke. Jesse nodded. The challengers went downstairs to a portal, that was opened to the Dark Dimension. "This is a one-way entrance to the Dark Dimension. The first team to recover the gem will be protected from its guardian. The losing guest, but not their partner, will be sacrificed so the others might return. The gem of power is hidden in the most unlikely place. Leave no corpse unturned or pool of filth untouched. I have a secret on the last page to give you upon your return."
The challengers enter the Dark Dimension. They start searching. "It's gotta be around here somewhere!" Michael yelled. DeStorm starts ripping some bodies, Michael does the same. Joey and Jesse keep looking and turning the stones. "I found it!!!" Michael exclaimed, finding the gem. A demon grabs DeStorm and stabs him in his chest, killing him instantly. Joey, Michael, and Jesse exit the portal. Michael looks at the last page. "Sometimes wizards lie to get what they want, and they hide things in plain sight."

The trio head upstairs with the gem, and put it in. Colin looks at the compass. "What is it, Colin?" Liza asked. Colin opened the compass and finds the gem. "I knew something was in here!" He remarked. Joey and Liza put the last two gems in, and the map opens. "It's the Crown!" Joey gasped. "You guys, we did it! Michael smiled brightly.

Chapter 10: Chapter 10

Chapter Text

Joey puts the gems from the map to the crown. When they all look back at the Sorceress' painting, something changes. "Who's that behind the Sorceress?" Liza asked. "It looks like... someone trapped.. in a cage?" Colin questioned. Joey looked at the crown in awe. "This is beautiful. Even though each one of these gems represents one of our friends, like, we did this," Joey said, smiling at the crown. "But we're missing one, Joey," Michael pointed out. One gem was missing. "I swear, if there's another thing missing that we need to find another gem, I'm going to murder someone," Colin told. "The Sorceress, that's who we're about to murder. And you've already-" Jesse was interrupted.

A chest opened. Joey went over to it and grabbed the note. "To complete the Crown, the center stone must be recovered. Three from the future must stand as one on a high place in the foyer. Their leader must place the Crown upon their head, and the stone will appear. "The three cannot separate until it has touched the ground." Joey puts on the crown. Everyone heads to the balcony of the foyer. The stone drops from an angel statute, slowly. The Sorceress enters. "All this time, it's been right here..." The Sorceress said, reaching her arm out to grab the stone.
The gem falls into her hand.

Cash comes out from behind the guests and points a gun towards Joey. "Cash?!" Colin was shocked. "Oh, it's you," Cash replied. Joey handed the crown to Cash in shame. He handed it over to The Sorceress, who put it on with the stone in the middle. The power of the crown returned to her. "You cheated!" Michael yelled. I have waited more than a century to wear this Crown. It was stolen from me by the Society Against Evil and locked away only to be restored by souls from the future. That is why I brought you all here. And in gratitude for such sacrifice, there is one more game to play. It's my favorite part. In the end, you all die!" The Sorceress announced. The previous monsters returned in a flash.

The Sorceress cackled. "This Sun is about to rise, and my spell will be complete!" The guests ran with Alison, Colin, and JetPack Girl into the Master Bedroom. Michael shut the door. "Can't hide forever, you cowards!" Cash shouted. Joey put a chair against the door. "Guys, what the heck just happened? She literally stole the Crown from us. We did all that work. We defeated all of them fair and square!"Jesse told. "Well, now we're literally trapped in whatever room this is," Joey replied. Liza looked at the dollhouse. Inside the dollhouse, there's a glass box with a girl inside.

Alison finds a note inside of the little book. "My name is Riley, and I am the child the Sorceress once was. The child that was hurt and sealed away so she might become a monster. I am her link to the Cursed gods magic she wields. If you free me from my prison, the Sorceress will be stripped of her power. Please save me. I just want to go outside and play like all the other girls," Alison read aloud. Jetpack Girl took out a doll. "This is Riley!" Jetpack Girl said. Alison took out two dolls and put them outside with Riley. Then, the dresser magically moved to the side, revealing a secret passage.

In the secret passage, the group walked in. Alison grabbed the book and opened it. "My prison in the treehouse will open when the three leviathan seals are broken. They are painted in crimson light around the estate. The first one is hidden behind bricks. Be careful. The lieutenants are after you. If you get caught and are not rescued within five minutes, you will be killed." "Guys, look. That's the treehouse. That's where she's trapped," Colin said. The group quietly slipped out of the passage and went outside. "The time has come for my army to enter the modern world where we belong!" The Sorceress said. She was standing on a pedestal, with two statues to drive her power from.

"All right, so we just need to find some sort of bricks. Let's look for these leviathan symbols," Jesse said. There are lieutenants everywhere. The group sneaks around. Suddenly, they're completely surrounded by the lieutenants. Michael spots the brick wall, and the group runs for it. Colin and Alison push down the brick wall. The symbol glows on the wall. The guests head downstairs. Jetpack Girl finds a note. "The blood of the forsaken must be spread across the seal to break it."

"Vera has the blood of the forsaken," Liza told. Colin went upstairs, saw Vera, and shot her. He took some of her blood and spread it across the seal. The seal broke instantly. "Okay, two more to go," Alison told. Jetpack Girl went to Vera's body and found a note. "We need to go to the dining room!" Everyone ran to the dining room. As they went inside, Colin shot the devourer and led him back to the lab, and locked it in. Then, he went back to the dining room. "Welcome to dinner for the damned. The first course has just started, but no one has arrived. Can't let it get cold. The chef will be furious. Would you be so kind to at least swallow a spoonful of soup at every plate?"

"You get that side. I'll get this side," Joey said to Michael. They swallowed a spoonful of soup at every plate on their side. Colin hands Michael and Joey some gum, and they chew it to get all of the disgusting stuff from the soup out. The seal broke. "The final seal lies on the water." They ran outside and went to the pond. Colin shot a warning shot to Cash to ward him off.

"I'm afraid the seal can only be broken by blowing the shit out of it. The trick is to take down the lieutenants at the same time, place the dynamite in the palm, and prep the detonation. Then lure in the lieutenants and blow the seal. Good luck." Colin finds the dynamite and throws it into the pool. The group starts screaming, trying to get the attention of all the lieutenants. Cash locks eyes with Colin. "Don't even think about it, boy," Cash shoots off his gun, and the dynamite detonates. It sends him and Atticus flying back into the grass. The last seal breaks and the treehouse is unlocked. The guests head inside and find a girl in a glass box.

"You broke the seals!" Riley said, smiling. Riley comes out of the box and hugs the group. Meanwhile, The Sorceress gets usurped of her power. "The Sorceress. I'm the source of her power. Now that I'm out, she'll be weak. She will know the pain that I have felt all these years," Riley said. Suddenly, she took off. The group ran after her. They all head inside, to the foyer. The Sorceress is on the stairs collapsed, and the crown is there. Joey reaches for the crown. "Joey, wait!" Michael said. "What?" Joey said, turning to Michael. "Don't do it! You're gonna get killed!" Michael replied. Joey scoffed. "I'm The Savant. Nothing bad could ever happen to-" Joey gets interrupted by the Sorceress, who stabs him in his chest, killing him.

"Joey, no!" Jesse yelled. Liza covered her mouth and started to cry. Riley slit The Sorceress's throat. Jetpack Girl hugged Riley. Then, Alison got a coffin for Joey and put him inside it. Michael takes the crown and puts it on. The spell is finally broken. "We did it, and we're finally gonna get out of here!" Liza said, hugging Michael. Jesse took Michael's crown and put it on Joey. They closed the coffin together. "I don't think anyone's gonna believe that we defeated a Sorceress," Michael stated. Then, Jetpack Girl, Riley, Michael, Liza, Alison, and Jesse exited the mansion, feeling proud of themselves.

Chapter 11: Interlude

Chapter Text

As they walked out of the mansion, another glitch happened. Suddenly, they were back at Joey's house. Justine and Eva were playing Mario Kart. Colin went to the coffee machine to make himself some coffee. "Wait.. where's the coffee?" Colin said, grabbing a mug. "Haven't you heard? He only drinks tea now!" Eva told. "The last time we were here, Joey had a coffee machine. Why did it change?" Michael questioned. "Michael, maybe you need to sit down..." Alison said. Everyone sat down on the couch.

"Let's review what we know. The last time we saw Joey, he escaped at his estate. Now Michael is also here, and he claims to be his brother. But why does Michael look so much like Joey?" Justine explained. "Justine, something else happened. Joey's dead," Colin replied, making some tea. "He's dead?" Eva replied. "Yeah. He died at The Sorceress's Mansion," Alison explained. Riley disappeared. "Where's Riley?" JetPack Girl asked. "I think it's the glitches. They're getting worse," Michael answered. Colin gave Michael some tea. "Here, Michael. Maybe you'll like this," Colin said. Michael sipped the tea. Suddenly, he felt something rush to his head.

A letter slipped into the front door. Jetpack Girl grabbed the letter and went back to the group. "So, what's your name?" Eva asked. "I'm... Samantha. Cedric, my old boss called me Jetpack Girl, cause I always was wearing one," Samantha told. Michael puts the tea down. "Ow.. my head," Michael said, putting his hand to his forehead. "Mike? What's wrong?" Alison asked. "I think it's the tea. What's in that?" Michael replied. Colin looked at the tea bags. "The Savant's Tea..." Colin read. "Joey is The Savant. He might be the only one who can drink this," Justine said.

Samantha opened the letter. "What is it?" Alison asked. "It's the Society Against Evil. They're requesting Michael's presence," Samanta replied. "Me? Why would they want me?" Michael replied. " "The SAE! They helped us at the Estate. This is how we get info on Joey!" Justine said. "Okay, I'll go to the SAE. See what I can find. I'll call you guys if anything happens, okay?" Michael proposed. Everyone nodded. "I'll go with you. I am a witness, after all," Colin said. Michael smiled.

At the SAE, Jael and Ryu waited. Michael and Colin walked in. "There you are! We need your help," Jael said. "What's going on, Jael?" Michael asked. Everyone sat at the meeting table. "Michael, ever since you got here, there's a virus spreading. I'm sure both of you have noticed the glitches, considering you have glitch interrupters. The Cursed God has called you here, but we don't know why. The glitches have been getting worse every night. Does this sound like anything you've experienced before?" Ryu asked. "Not really. In my universe, I filmed all of it. But this started in 2016, and each season was filmed until 2019 when I did season 4. But now, Bryan and Amelia are looking for me. They're in this too," Michael explained.

"So what do we do now?" Colin asked. "Joey is going to be at Everlock, a town that is locked in the 1970s. Take Alison with you this time. We have everything you need. We're going to get to the bottom of this, together," Jael announced. Then, Bryan called Michael. He picked up the phone, and set it up so Jael, Ryu, and Colin could see it. Colin called Justine, Eva, Alison, and Samantha and merged the calls. "Joey! Oh, it's so good to see you again!" Amelia said. "It's good to see you too, Amelia. Any updates?" Michael asked. "Yeah! This is BlueOwlsMedic, by the way! She's our head moderator at DechartGames," Amelia replied.

"Hey there Joey! I see you've got a friend! How are you?" BlueOwlsMedic asked. "I'm doing pretty good, thanks. I'm Colin. So, where's Bryan?" Colin questioned. "Well, Bryan got this tea last night. It's called The Savant's Tea. While we were streaming last night, he started acting really weird..." Amelia told. "The Savant's Tea? Joey has that in his house!" Justine said, through Colin's phone. "Okay, tell us more about Bryan acting weird," Eva stated. "Well, Bryan suddenly wanted to solve a mystery and go on adventures. He couldn't stop drinking the tea while the stream was going on. He even asked me to try some, but I was having lemonade," Amelia explained.

"The Savant's Curse..." Jael spoke. "What's The Savant's Curse?" Alison asked. "The Savant's Curse is a universal curse, spreading across all of the universes. It seems Bryan has taken this role in your universe, Michael. As Amelia explained, it starts out with this mysterious brand that's universal. 'The Savant's Tea'. It targets anyone who fits its criteria, and it sends the tea to them. Then, they will uncover an estate completely custom to them. That's all we've gathered," Ryu explained. "Should we be worried about Bryan? he's my husband!" Amelia told. "I'm afraid it's too late, Mrs Dechart. The least you can do is make sure he doesn't get into trouble," Jael replied. BlueOwlsMedic ended the call, and so did Colin.

"Let's head back to the group. We can figure out something there," Colin said. Ryu handed Colin the 1970s clothing. Michael and Colin went back to Joey's house. "I hope Amelia's alright..." Samantha stated. "Me too, but now we have a new task. We need to go to Everlock. Joey's gonna be there. We can probably get more info out of him, and more on that curse," Colin explained. "Agreed. So Michael, who are you taking with you to Everlock?" Justine asked. "Samantha. I know Alison's immortal, but people might be freaked out about a vampire in the 1970s," Michael replied. "Fair enough. Don't die, Mike. We all care about you," Eva said. "I will," Michael replied.
