“Can you stop eating in front of me for five minutes?”
“But Kyojuro”~
Fox ears swiveled on flame colored hair as Kyojuro turned to glare at the demon sitting beside him. A human arm, already half eaten, was held up to Akaza’s mouth, blood already dripping down his chin. If he was a lesser man, he would have gagged.
“It’s disgusting. Why can’t you eat while I’m away capturing those humans Muzan hates so much? Do you like making me gag?” Kyojuro asked. In hindsight, he should have seen Akaza’s reply coming.
“You know I love making you gag Kyojuro~. And you’re so good at taking my-“
“Shut. It.” The blush on his cheeks betrayed his angry tone, red dusting white skin like that was its home. He couldn’t believe this demon…...always with his crude remarks and making him blush like he was a child.
Akaza merely smirked, bloody fangs gleaming in the moonlight. He threw the human arm to the side of him, slightly aware of the dull thunk the arm made when it hit a tree. Wiping his blood covered fingers on the grass below, glass-cracked eyes stared at the beauty of the yokai before him.
The blush on the fire spirit’s face was adorable, even with the thin glare shot his way. The nine tails tucked around Kyojuro’s form twitched and curled slowly, acting like the leaves of trees that gently swayed in the wind. Every few minutes the tips would light on fire, brilliant colors or red, orange, purple, blue, and white all mixing together in a beautiful rainbow of color. It would remind him of a certain demon’s eyes if it wasn’t for how much more brilliant the colors of fire were.
Akaza gently brushed one of the tails, admiring the silky texture the fur had. His yokai always liked to keep his appearance immaculate. Whether it was for Akaza or himself, the demon didn’t know and cared little to find out. Focusing more on the yokai’s tails was more important than thinking about fickle thoughts.
He heard Kyojuro hum as the petting got a little harder, the tails twitching and moving to wrap around Akaza’s wrist. Sharp claws buried into golden fur just hard enough to let the tails’ owner know that they were there but not hard enough to draw any drop of blood. Hurting a kitsune, especially one of Kyojuro’s caliber, was something that the demons knew not to try. Even Muzan knew that Kyojuro’s submissiveness to the demon king relied solely on his love for Akaza and not the string thin respect he held for Muzan. Why Kyojuro didn’t hold respect for Muzan, Akaza has yet to find out.
“You’re lucky I don’t care about you touching my tails Akaza.” Sharp nails grabbed Akaza’s blue-tipped fingers, bringing them up and back into the demon’s lap. “My father would more than likely have already burned you and let you suffer in the sun’s rays until you were dust in the wind.”
Akaza smirked. “Kinky.” He cackled when Kyojuro hit him upside the head, the force just enough to give him a concussion. The kitsune huffed out a laugh. Sharp canines visible enough for Akaza to nearly swoon. Such a cute yokai he had.
“Why are you always vulgar? Can’t we have a single conversation without you wanting to insinuate that you want to...uh..”
“That I want to fuck you?” The blush made its way back onto Kyojuro’s face but he nodded. God, how was he so freaking cute? If Akaza was a lesser demon he might have died then and there, but being Upper Moon Three kept his demon heart from giving out.
His hand made its way onto Kyojuro’s head, starting to pet the soft furry ears atop his head. So much like a cat, an almost silent purr came from the kitsune beside him, eyes barely open in petting bliss. Kyojuro was always so easy to settle down; just pet his ears, and he melted like metal in white fire.
Continuing his petting, Akaza gently, as to not disturb the barely there Kyojuro, the demon picked up the kitsune and laid him across his legs, his head sitting on his knees as the rest of his body started curling around Akaza. The tails lit on fire, small flares of fire steadily staying on the tips of each. The white fire, the hottest that Kyojuro produced, lit the black night in a soft glow that Akaza would call heavenly. His non-occupied hand started on the white lit tail, gently combing through the fur and unfurling and tangles they met on their travels.
Red and yellow eyes lazily met his own gold, the black-slitted pupils barely visible from under his eyelids. Kyojuro opened his mouth to say something but moaned when Akaza pulled on his ear. A sleepy glare was sent his way but the Akaza ignored it and instead pulled harder.
“My beautiful kitsune. You’re so cute, you know that Kyojuro?” Before Kyojuro could snark back, Akaza continued. “My loyal little kitsune, always ready to go after those pesky hunters aren’t you?”
A moan of agreement from the man lying in his lap made his soft smile sharpen.
“So sweet, so kind. How no one else claimed you before I did, I may never know. But you are mine Kyojuro.” Leaning down, Akaza pressed his lips against Kyojuro’s, the kiss fire hot from the flames around them. His fangs bit at the soft, pink lips of his kitsune, forcing another moan from the yokai. He broke the kiss and licked his lips.
“And you better not forget it.”
