Chapter 1: Not So Simple

Summary:

Being two months into a relationship, you think Xandir would want his boyfriend to meet his roommates, right? The answer...it is not that simple.

Chapter Text

It was a wonderful spring day. There were a lot of people who were hustling and bustling in the downtown area of the city. Outside of a cafe, sat two men at a table, having a great time with each other on a date. One of them being Xandir P. Wifflebottom and the other man was his boyfriend, Quinn. Xandir and Quinn have only been dating for a couple of months. Not even Xander’s roommates know about his relationship at the moment with Quinn. Nor does he really want any of them to know about it either. Xandir was happy to see Quinn. He loved getting together with him as much as possible. Also, Quinn was the only man who Xandir has ever been with that loved him for who he was. It was a very nice change for once.

Quinn looked at Xandir with a smile on his face. Which is something else that Xandir never experienced before. Quin was also very happy to see Xandir, too.

“So, you mentioned a few times about your roommates that you live with.” Quinn suddenly spoke up to him.

“Yes. What about them?” Xandir spoke back and asked as he took a sip of his coffee.

“Do you think it is a good idea that I meet them one day?” Quinn asked another question back as a suggestion. Xandir slightly froze in shock. Quinn noticed.

“I didn’t mean anything weird but that, babe. I am just curious about the kind of people you live with.” Quinn said and then explained. Xandir let out a sigh.

“I am not weirded out that you asked. It is just that...it is not that simple.” Xandir told him. Quinn nodded.

“Are they crazy or something?” Quinn asked. Xandir let out a chuckle.

“Crazy is such an understatement for them, dear. They are insane. Ignorant at times, too.” Xandir answered, being honest with his boyfriend. Quinn got the picture.

“I understand that. Have you ever thought about moving?” Quinn said and asked another question.

“Yeah but where would I go? I don’t make enough to truly be able to live on my own either. I am basically stuck between a rock and a hard place with that situation.” Xandir replied then took a sip of his drink. Quinn felt so bad for him. Also, there was a chance that Xandir could have been over exaggerating but Quinn did not think that at all.

“I am so sorry, Xandir. I wish there was something that I can do.” Quinn told him. Xandir smiled.

“It’s okay, babe. Just being there for me is enough. Even if it just a phone call, it means a lot to me.” Xandir said to Quinn. Quinn smirked and suddenly leaned over close to Xandir’s face and placed his lips against Xandir’s. Xandir blushed and did not push his boyfriend away as he accepted the kiss. Quinn pulled away several seconds later. He did not also care if people were staring/looking at them. Quinn loves Xander and was not afraid to show it to the world.

“I love you, Xandir. And I will always be here and there for you.” Quinn told him. Xander’s heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest. And still, he was getting used to having a relationship like this.

“I love you, too, Quinn.” Xander said back to him. The two of them sat at the cafe for a little while longer before they decided to go for a walk downtown and spend time downtown for the rest of the afternoon until Xandir had to go back home. But... Xandir gave Quinn his address for the first since they have known each other. So, in a way, this was a way for Xander to open up more about where he lives. When Xander arrived home, he quietly opened the door and leaked into see if anyone was in the living room. Thankfully, no one was there, for the first time in a while. Xandir quietly walked in the house and up to his room.

######

Later that evening, everyone was partying and being their obnoxious selves while Xander was on his phone, texting Quinn the entire time. Xander is not innocent but he was not exactly like the rest of his roommates. All of a sudden, Xander noticed one of the roommates trying to look at his phone. It was Spanky. Xandir quickly tried to hide the screen of his phone from him.

“Who’s Quinn?” Spanky asked out loud. Xandir looked around as he saw everyone else looking at him. Xandir did not want to tell them who he exactly was to him.

“He is someone I know. That’s all.” Xandir replied.

“Then why are you both having such an intimate conversation if he is just “someone you know”?” Spanky asked him. Xandir felt like a deer caught in the headlights right now.

“Are you sexting? How naughty to do that! Hell, I should start doing that!” Toot asked and spoke. Xandir was not sure what to say.

“It is not like that. Quinn is a friend of mine. We always talk to each other like this everyday.” Xander explained. Still, most of the roommates believed that it was something more than that.

“You mean boyfriend, don’t you?” Foxxy asked. Clara made a gag sound. Xandir and Foxxy looked at Clara.

“Clara, you can keep your homophobia to yourself.” Foxxy told her. Clara did not like Foxxy’s response.

“I have freedom of speech to say what I want to say.” Clara said back to Foxxy.

“Apparently, it also gives rights to spoiled little bitches, too.” Foxxy spoke. Clara was now angry.

“Just because I don’t accept Xandir being gay, it doesn’t mean that I should have to keep quiet about it.” Clara said to Foxxy. Foxxy was not going to let Clara make things worse for Xandir, who clearly is in shock about what Clara just said.

“Clara, if you want to be a bigot, fine but this is NOT the time to be that way. Personally,I find nothing wrong with Xandir being gay. Plus, if he is dating this guy..or not, that is his business. There is nothing wrong with people being in love with someone who is the same gender as they are. But being a terrible person towards it, there is the problem. And that is you, Clara, not Xandir.” Foxxy told her. Still, Clara was not feeling any less angry.

“Do I look like that I care about what other people think?” Clara asked.

“Do you want me to answer that honestly?” Foxxy asked a question back. As Foxxy and Clara keep arguing, Xandir has enough. Everyone was trying to get their say in all of this as well. He got up from the couch and went to his room. Xandir laid in his bed, still messaging Quinn.

Xandir:  I swear, my roommates are driving me mad.

Quinn: What is going on?

Xandir let out a sigh before he replied.

Xandir: Two of my roommates are having an argument. One made a homophobic remark and the other one is not having it. I hate living here so much but like I said earlier, there is nothing I can really do about it.

Quinn felt so bad for his boyfriend.

Quinn: If you do ever need to get away from them anytime, you are welcomed to stay at my place for a couple of days if you need to do so. I have been thinking about it and I wouldn’t mind you spending time with me at my house. In fact, I would love it.

For Xandir, that meant a lot to him. Even if it was one night at Quinn’s house and away from the rest of the others, he would be truly happy with that. He did not even hesitate to give an answer to Quinn about that.

Xandir: I would love that, too. I mean...are you sure that is okay?

Quinn: I would not have suggested it if I wasn’t okay with it.

That was true. Which made Xandir feel even more happy. Though, his roommates still don’t have a clue that Quinnnis actually his boyfriend, though, some may already think that by now, too, after what happened tonight.

Xandir: Sorry. I can be stupid sometimes.

Quinn: I don’t think that you are stupid for asking me. You wanted to make sure and that’s a good thing. I love you!

Xandir smiled.

Xandir: I love you, too, Quinn. More than words can truly express.

As Xandir sent the reply to his boyfriend, he heard a knock on his bedroom door. Xandir quickly got off of the bed and went over to the door. When he opened it, Foxxy was standing in the other side of it.

“Is it okay if I speak to you? No one else is with me.” Foxxy asked. Foxxy was truly the only person in this entire house that Xandir could stand without getting agitated. Xandir nodded in response. Foxxy came into his room and shut the door behind her. She let out a sigh before she spoke to Xandir.

“I..I wanted to apologize for what happened downstairs. I am not like Clara, I promise. I just hate her nasty and horrible attitude towards you. Xandir, you don’t have to be afraid to be yourself around me. But I am curious about something.” Foxxy said to him.

“And that would be?” Xandir asked.

“Is that Quinn guy really just your friend or is he actually your boyfriend? I mean, you don’t have to answer it unless you want to but I promise that I will not tell anyone. This will be only between you and I.” Foxxy asked a question back and explained to Xandir. Not only Foxxy is the one that Xandir likes but also trusts as well. Plus, there was no reason to hide it now. Especially from someone he trusts.

“Quinn is actually my boyfriend. I just didn’t want to say anything because how the others can be and I didn’t want to start anything, though...I guess that didn’t matter in the end.” Xandir answered and explained to Foxxy why he did not come out with it and tell everyone that Quinn is his boyfriend. Mostly because of Clara and a couple of others as well but mainly because of Clara and her tending to be very homophobic.” Xandir replied and explained to her as well. Foxxy smiled.

“I understand I am so sorry that she is like that, Xandir. I hate her as much as you do. Also, congratulations on the boyfriend, by the way.” Foxxy told him. Xandir smiled back.

“Thanks, Foxxy.” Xandir said back to her.

“You're welcome. ..Do you have a picture of your boyfriend?” Foxxy spoke and then asked another question. Xandir nodded. He went over and grabbed his phone to find a picture of Quinn for Foxxy to see. When he pulled a picture of up and showed her, her eyes widened.

“Wow! He’s very cute!” Foxxy said. To her, Quinn looked like some kind of supermodel.

“With a personality to match. I really love him. He accepts me for who I am and I never have to hide who I am either when I around him. Quinn is such an amazing person.” Xandir said back to her. Foxxy looked at Xandir, still smiling as she calmed down.

“I am glad that you found someone like Quinn. He truly sounds like a great person.” Foxxy spoke. Xandir looked back at her.

“He really is. I feel so lucky to have him in my life.” Xandir told her. All of a sudden, they heard a loud noise coming from downstairs. And Toot starting to yell. Foxxy let out a sigh.

“I swear it is like living with children in a daycare. Besides you, Xandir. You are not like everyone else in this house.” Foxxy said. Xandir felt so bad for her. She always had to be like a mother to everyone.

“Do you want me to go with you?” Xandir offered.

“At the moment, I think it would cause more drama and I don’t want Clara to go after you again with her homophobic bullshit.  I mean, it is up to you but I got it. Thank you, though.” Foxxy replied.

“No problem.” Xandir said back. Foxxy headed out of Xandir’s room a minute later and headed downstairs to try to break up whatever is going on down there. Xandir decided to take time to watch some videos on his tablet and keep chatting with Quinn for a bit until it was time for both of them to go to sleep for the rest of the night and everything downstairs died down quite a bit. Luckily, it did not take so long for that to happen. Quinn was truly the best thing to ever happen to Xandir and Xandir was never going to take his boyfriend for granted. Ever.

The only thing that worried him is when the time comes for Quinn to actually meet his roommates...will Quinn want to be with Xandir after that? For now, Xandir will never know until it actually happens.

Chapter 2: Damn

Summary:

Not everything is always sunshine and rainbows for Xandir.

Chapter Text

Xandir walked down the stairs. Even three days later after everyone finding out about Quinn, some things have been uneasy between him and few of his roommates. Mostly Clara. Xandir never even told her that Quinn was his boyfriend and she has been but horrible to him. She could not even look at him. As much as Xandir wanted to get along with all of his roommates, it was not going to be possible and Xandir knew that. At least, there was Foxxy, which Xandir was happy about. As he entered the kitchen, there was Clara at the table. Xandir’s stomach felt a little uneasy but he was hungry at the same.

“Maybe if I ignore here, she won’t say anything or look at me for too long.” Xandir thought to himself as a plan. He took a deep breath before he began to step himself more into the kitchen. Clara noticed him going to the fridge but didn’t say anything but just kept looking at him. When Xandir shut the fridge door and went over to the counter, Clara decided to speak.

“So...is this Quinn guy your boyfriend or not?” Clara suddenly asked. Xandir did not say a word to her about that. Clara didn’t like that at all.

“Xandir, I asked you a question.” Clara spoke up.

“I know. Truly, I just don’t feel like answering it.” Xandir said to her. Clara made a face.

“Look, I am only curious.” Clara asked. Xandir didn’t believe her. He turned to look at her.

“No, you’re not. You just want to find out so you can make up rumors and other bullshit. Plus, why do you want to know? You hate people who are in the LGBT community. Why would I want to tell you knowing that?” Xandir said back and asked her a couple of questions back. Clara could not deny that. It was not like she was innocent. No one in the house is innocent, though. Not even Xandir.

“Just because I don’t like gay people, it doesn’t mean that I can’t be curious.” Clara told him.

“Nah. Still not telling you a thing about it, sweetheart. Nice try, though.” Xandir said back to her. Clara was not having Xander’s attitude towards her.

“I am a princess and deserve to be treated as such!” Clara slightly shouted.

“But I am a queen so I overrule you, hun. You will never anything about Quinn.” Xandir spoke back. Clara was hating this. Xandir, on the other hand, was quite enjoying himself. He was not going to give into the spoiled brat.

“You know what! Screw you, Wifflebottom! You’re just upset that I have an opinion about how you live your life!” Clara shouted as she suddenly got up from the chair that she was sitting on.

“And my life is none of your business, bitch. I don’t care if hate gays. I don’t care if you hate me! But I am not going to bring someone else into something that has nothing to do with him!” Xandir said back to her.

“I ASKED if he was your boyfriend so he does have to with what we are talking about! This all started because I asked about him, idiot!” Clara shouted back. Xandir was now getting pissed off.

“You can bat your eyelashes, pout your lips and do whatever you want and all you want but I am not going to give you shit! I am going to keep Quinn out of this and you better keep him out of your head! No wonder I hate being here!” Xandir shouted back at her this time.

“Why don’t you move out if you hate it so bad here? No one is keeping you hostage here.” Clara asked and told him. That was true. Xandir wasn’t not being forced by his roommates to live here but with money and all of that stuff, he would have moved out a long time ago if he had the funds to get the hell out of there. For now, he was truly stuck.

“I wish I could, Clara. I wish I could. To get away from your ignorant ass!” Xandir said and then exclaimed before finally ending the conversation and leaving the kitchen. Xandir just needed to get out of there before it got worse. Xandir did not even realize that Captain Hero has been watching for some part of this argument and walked right past him. Captain Hero walked over to Clara.

“What the hell is his problem?” Captain Hero asked her.

“He just won’t still say if that Quinn guy is his boyfriend or not.” Clara replied.

“You’re still on that?” Captain Hero asked another question to her.

“Why wouldn’t I be?” Clara asked back.

“He doesn’t have to tell you anything if it is true or not. So...why go on about it after all this time?” Captain Hero answered and asked yet another question to the Princess.

“Aren’t you even a little bit curious about if Xandir is eyeing someone?” Clara asked back. Captain Hero shrugged.

“No. I don’t plan on bothering him about it either. And neither should you.” Captain Hero spoke back. Clara was surprised.

“You're one of the most curious guys I know! I am quite surprised by this.” Clara told him.

“I am thinking the same about you. You’re homophobic so why would you care about who Xandir dates?” Captain Hero said and asked. He had a point. But still, Clara just didn’t want to listen.

“Look, I am going to find out one way or another. With or without anyone or even Xander’s help.” Clara said. Captain Hero did not want to hear anymore of this. In fact, he was wondering why he wanted to in the first place. Captain Hero left Clara alone in the kitchen once again. Clara was determined to find out about Xandir’s man. She just hopes that she doesn’t get caught. As for Xandir...Xandir should be careful. Very careful.

Chapter 3: Meeting of The Roommates

Summary:

Xandir’s boyfriend makes a surprise visit to his house but only to be bombarded with so many questions from Xandir’s roommates.

Chapter Text

Quinn pulled up to the driveway of the house that Xandir lived with his roommates in his car. What Xandir's roommates did not know is that Quinn is super rich! But that is not the reason why Xandir is with Quinn or loves him. Xandir fell in love with Quinn's sweet personality and sense of humor. It has nothing to do with how much money Quinn has. This is also Xandir's very first, serious relationship and he does not want to ruin it. For either of them. Quinn turned off his car and got out of the driver's seat and headed towards the front door of the house. He gave the front door a couple of knocks then stood there with a smile on his face. When the door opened, Quinn noticed that there was no one at the door...until he looked down. It was Spanky that answered the door.

His eyes widened in not shock but surprise.

"Oh! You're...are you a furry?" Quinn asked.

"What's a furry?" Spanky asked him. Quinn felt confused but decided to let it go.

"Nevermind. Forget what I asked. Is Xandir here?" Quinn replied back to him and changed the subject.

"Yeah? Why?" Spanky asked a question back.

"Because I am here to pick him up." Quinn replied. Spanky did not know that Xandir was going somewhere but he was not going to question it either.

"Come on in." Spanky told Quinn.

"Are you sure? I can wait outside if that would be better." Quinn asked and suggested.

"Nah. It's fine. Come on in." Spanky answered back. Quinn nodded and came into the house. Spanky shut the door behind the two of them. Quinn looked around the house. It was a bit messy but it was not messy where it was a bit much to handle. It did kind of look like party house at the same time, too. All of a sudden, a woman walked into the room. She noticed Quinn and stopped as they both made eye contact with one another.

"Oh, hello!" The woman said to him. She recognized the man from the photo on Xandir's phone. Quinn waved back at her. She walked over and stood in front of him.

"You name is Quinn, right?" The woman asked him.

"Yes, I am." Quinn replied back to her. The woman suddenly put one of her arms and hands in front of her and towards Quinn.

"My name is Foxxy. Nice to meet you and I see you have met Spanky already just now." The woman said to him, telling him her name. Quinn smiled and took her hand then the two shook them.

"Yes, I have. Nice to meet you, too." Quin said back to her. The two stopped and let go of each others' hands but kept looking at each other.

"You here for Xandir?" Foxxy asked him another question. Quinn nodded.

"Yes. I am here to pick him up. I thought he was going to be outside but I did not see him out there." Quinn replied. Foxxy nodded back as well.

"I'll go get him for you." Foxxy said to him.

"Thank you." Quinn said back to her.

"You are welcome. It is really nice to meet you, by the way. We rarely have people come over. Even like this." Foxxy told him. The whole time, Spanky has been watching them. Foxxy turned and went to get Xandir for Quinn. Quinn just stayed where he was in the living room. waiting for Xandir.

"Xandir has some interesting roommates but said that he lives with several so I know that these can not be the only two people he lives with in this house." Quinn thought to himself. When Foxy got to Xandir's bedroom door, she knocked on it. Xandir granted permission for her to come in. When she opened the door, Foxxy saw Xandir at his vanity, finishing up getting ready to head out.

"I just met your boyfriend." Foxxy said to him. Xandir suddenly stopped and looked at Foxy.

"Huh? What do you mean that you met him?" Xandir asked her a couple questions as he blushed on his cheeks.

"His name is Quinn, right? He is downstairs, waiting for you in the living room." Foxy asked and said to him. Xandir started to slightly panic as he looked at the time on his phone screen.

"FUCK! I took too long to get ready." Xandir thought to himself. Xandir grabbed his bag off of the vanity then quickly rushed out of his bedroom and to the living room. Foxxy followed behind him. Xandir hoped that nothing bad happens while Quinn is here. When Xandir and Foxxyreached the living room, he stopped as he saw a few of his other roommates talking to Quinn. And those roommates are Toot, Clara, Wooldor and Captain Hero. Spanky was still there but he was sitting on the couch just watching what was going down. And the look on Quinn's face was of discomfort. It was not visible for Toot, Captain Hero, Wooldor and Clara but Spanky, Foxxy and especially Xandir can see it on Quinn's face.

"So, you are really Xandir's boyfriend?" Toot asked him.

"Yes. I am his boyfriend." Quinn replied to her. Clara deicded to put her two cents into this conversation.

"Do you realize that it is unnatural for two men to be together?" Clara asked him. Quinn did not like that and it angered him slightly. Quinn is not a violent person but he can be mouthy at times...but only when he needed to be.

"Pardon?" Quinn asked her back, making sure that he heard her right. Everyone was looking at Quinn and Clara now. Clara was not backing down.

"It is very unnatural for two men and two women to be together in that way." Clara told him. Wooldor agreed. Quinn knew what Clara was saying is nothing but utter bullshit.

"Look, I have heard everything from people like you and honestly, I could care less what you think about my sexuality. I am not going to stop being with men because you do not like it. Plus, I am not here for you anyway." Quinn said back to her, trying not be rude about it but yet, it was making him feel angry. Xandir felt so scared now.

"I need to stop this before it gets worse." Xandir thought to himself. Before Clara said another word to him, Xandir quickly walked over to Quinn.

"Hey, babe!" Xandir suddenly exclaimed to him. Hearing Xandir's voice made him feel calm. He looked at Xandir with a smile on his face.

"Hey, Xandir." Quinn happily said back to him. Xandir stopped next to Quinn and looked at him.

"Sorry for taking longer than I thought I would." Xandir told him.

"It is okay, hun." Quinn spoke back. Xandir suddenly has an idea got into his head to try to diffuse what was going on between his boyfriend and Clara.

"You ready to go?" Xandir asked him. Quinn nodded. He could not wait to get out of their fast enough with his man.

"Yes, I am." Quinn replied to him. Quinn said goodbye to his roommates, especially Foxxy and then the two of them headed out of house and to Quinn's car. When they were inside of the car, driving to their destination, Xandir looked at Quinn.

"Are you okay, babe?" Xandir asked, checking to see if he is okay with what happened between him and Clara.

"Yes. I am fine. Though, I am going to be honest with you. You have pretty weird and ignorant roommates. Except Foxxy. She seems like a nice woman. What is the woman in the purplish dress's name?" Quinn answered back and then asked a question of his own.

"Her name is Clara." Xandir replied to him.

"Well, Clara needs to mind her own damn business. No offense but she says that she is princess but all I can think is that she is just a spoiled bitch. I am sorry you have to live with a person like that." Quinn said to him. Finally, someone who understood him when it comes to her.

"I take no offense to that. I actually agree with you about Clara. I can not stand her either so I just ignore her for the most part. And I am also sorry that they were bombarding you like that, too." Xandir spoke back.

"It is okay. By the way, how did you meet them?" Quinn spoke and asked him.

"We were on a reality show together for a while. After the show, we decided to stay together as roommates. Though..I have been thinking about moving out but worried about telling them that I have been considering doing this." Xandir answered and told him.

"Are you worried because you do not have a place yet...or are you worried because of how they will react?" Quinn asked him. Xandir silently gulped before he answered that.

"Both." Xandir honestly replied to him. Quinn felt so bad for him but...it did give him an idea for Xandir to think about.

"If you need a place...you can come live with me." Quinn suddenly suggested to Xandir. Xandir looked at his boyfriend as his eyes widened.

"Are you sure that is really okay to do?" Xandir asked him, just to make sure that Quinn really okay with the idea of Xandir moving in with him.

"Yes. Why? Do you not like the idea of us living together?" Quinn replied and asked a couple more questions. Xandir was not exactly sure how to explain it to him.

"I would love to live with you but..." Xandir's voice trailed off as he began to feel a little nervous.

"But what exactly, hunny?" Quinn asked another question, wanting Xandir to continue what he was talking about to him. Xandir turned his head and looked at the floor of car below him.

"..I just think that people would think that it is weird that you have an elf not only living with you but as a boyfriend, too." Xandir said to him, finishing what he was trying to tell him before. Quinn shrugged.

"It does not matter to me if you are human or an elf. I love as you as who you are on the inside and the outside, regardless. Plus, I really do not care what other people think about us and our relationship. The only opinion that truly matters to me is yours." Quinn replied and explained to him. That meant a lot to Xandir but still...he was not sure if it was a good idea to move in with his boyfriend. Not because they are boyfriend but because...they have not been dating for too long. Though, it would give him a chance to get out of the living situation he is in. Especially with the roommates who are toxic...which most of them are.

"I will think about your offer." Xandir said to him.

"No worries! I mean, it is up to you if you want to come live with me. Even if you need a break for a night or more, you always have a place to crash at my house." Quinn said back to him. Xandir lifted up his head and looked at his boyfriend with a smile on his face again.

"Thank you, Quinn. That means a lot to me. More than I can say in words." Xandir told him.

"You are very welcome, hunny! I am always here for you. And by the way...I hope I did not make things worse for you and your roommates with me being there and all." Quinn said to him.

"Do not worry about it. Even if you did, it is really not your fault. Trust me. A lot of them were just raised by ignorant people. You can not change people like them. They are in too deep with the way they are. I am just sorry that they bombarded you like that." Xandir said back to him. Quinn understood and agreed with his boyfriend on that. Quinn knew a lot of people like that back in his hometown so he was used to it. Still...it made him feel bad Xandir having to live with people like that.

####

The two of them sat outside as they ate lunch on a bench in the park area of the city. Being away from his roommates gave Xandir a breath of fresh air and some clarity. Xandir did not dislike all of his roommates. Foxxy was the only one he did actually like, though and considers a real friend. Everyone else was fake or just a terrible person to him. And Xandir is not wrong about that either. Quinn suddenly had a thought pop up in his head.

"Hey, I do not mean to personal or anything but...have your roommate being like that with all your friends/boyfriends that come to the house?" Quinn suddenly asked him. Xandir felt fine to answer that.

"Well...I never really brought anyone over to the house because..well..you see how they can be." Xandir replied to him. Quinn understood. It did make another thought pop into his head, too.

"...When was the last time you had a boyfriend?" Quinn asked another question. Xandir took a deep breath before he answered. The question was bound to come up sometime. And Xandir was ready for it.

"Well, my last boyfriend was named Craig but he was not a serious boyfriend. Though...none my relationships have been serious...until I met and started dating you. I was just basically out of the closet when I started truly dating men. I mean, I knew I was into men all my life but I was never open about it until I was on the reality show. In a way, I basically experimenting with my sexuality. Mostly sexually. With you, I feel more than just that. I really love and want to be with you. Not just sexually either but romantically, too!" Xandir answered and explained at the same time. They have not had sex yet but still, Xandir wanted to be in a relationship with Quinn. A loving and fun relationship. Plus, Xandir did not feel ready to have sex with Quinn just yet.

And Quinn was fine with that.

"I know the feeling. I did that before but it was after I graduated high school and was in college. I did not like sleep with 100 guys or anything nor that I am saying you did that either. But I understand experimenting with my sexuality. Not gonna lie, it was fun but I was also always careful, too." Quinn told him.

"So...you are not judging me for what I have done? It has been a while since I have done any of that, though. A long while, honestly." Xandir spoke and asked Quinn.

"Not at all! I mean, we are adults and I am not going to judge someone for being sexual active. It is none of my business but as long as you're careful and do not get hurt, I do not see a problem what you have done in the past with other men." Quinn replied to him.  Suddenly, Quinn placed one of his hands onto one of Xandir's cheeks as they kept looking at each other.

"And it does not change how I feel about you either, Xandir." Quinn also said to him as well, adding to what he said just a few seconds ago. Xandir smiled at him. Both Quinn and Xandir were madly in love with each other. And it was not going to die down any soon, too.

"I feel that way about you, too, Quinn." Xandir said back to him. Quinn leaned forward and gave Xandir a kiss on the lips. Xandir never thought that something like this would ever happen to him but it is actually happening to him. It was a like a dream for both of them and neither of the wanted to wake up from it. Ever. When Quinn pulled away from him, he sat on the bench and faced forward to look at the scenery and what was happening in front of them. Xandir leaned up against the side of Quinn and placed his head onto Quinn's shoulder as he looked with him. Xandir also suddenly held one of Quinn's hands in his as well, still with a smile on his face. On both of their faces.

"You know what...maybe living together would not be so bad after all. It could actually be a good thing. A very good one. Yet...I am still not sure if I am ready to move in with Quinn. I just need a little more time I guess. Plus...I am so used to living with my roommates that having to start all over again to living with someone different is a bit nerve-wracking but yet...it would be SO much better than living in a nightmare everyday. ...I am so conflicted. I hope that I will eventually figure it out and get away from the toxicity of my roommates. Not sure what is holding me back and I hate it." Xandir thought to himself.

The rest of the time that they spent together during the day felt wonderful. Quinn loves being with Xandir but tomorrow...he was going to be busy this weekend. Quinn has to go out of town to go visit his parents. They are not too far from where he is but still, Quinn was going to be out of city limits from Friday until Sunday night. And Xandir was sad about it. It does not mean that they won't see each other again. Even if they have been dating for a few months, Quinn was not ready for Xandir to meet his parents. In a way, both of them were holding back on something. Sooner or later, both of them will get through what is making them hesitant. Just going to take a bit more time.

#####

Xandir walked into the house after Quinn dropped him off from their day date. He was a bit exhausted but very happy at the same time. But coming home sort made his mood go down a bit. It seemed that everyone was in the hot tub in the backyard and having fun. Xandir took the time to go to his room with out anyone noticing him. He made his way to his bedroom and then went to go take a shower. And he enjoyed it quite a lot. No one walking in on him or trying to annoying him so they can catch him naked. It was amazing,When Xandir stepped out of the shower, he went put on a pair of shorts and headed to back to his room as he heard someone in the house.

A few minutes later, Xandir heard a knock on his bedroom door. Xandir got off of his bed and walked over to the door then opened it. It was Foxxy again.

"Hey. I do not meant to bother but I heard you come home and I just wanted to check up on you because of what happened earlier in the day. I hope Quinn and you are okay." Foxxy told him. It felt nice for someone to care about Quinn's feelings as well when it comes to what happened between him and Clara.

"He is doing fine. Thank you for checking up on him and such. I am still a bit pissed off at Clara for that." Xandir said back to her.

"Honestly, I do not blame you. I am, too. Clara just need to keep that to herself. Especially with people she does not know. By the way, Quinn seems like a really nice guy, though, I noticed that he is a bit shy, too." Foxxy spoke back.

"He can be that way. And he is a very sweet man. I love Quinn so much." Xandir said to her. Foxxy nodded.

"I am glad that you found someone like him. Also, let him know that he does not have to be afraid to come back here. Next time, I will personally make sure that he does not get overwhelmed. Again, I am so sorry that happened." Foxxy said as well.

"Thank you and I will let him know. And thank you for the support of my relationship with Quinn. At least someone in this house does." Xandir said back.

"You are welcome and trust me, I have nothing against the LGBT or your relationship with Quinn. As long as he makes you happy and does not hurt you, he is good in my book." Foxxy explained and said back to him. Foxxy and Xandir talked for another couple of minutes before she left, leaving Xandir alone at his bedroom door. Xandir went back into his room and shut the door behind him. He was just going to stay in his room for the rest of the evening and night. Hopefully, Xandir will be able to make it through the weekend without seeing Quinn. But knowing his roommates, Xandir had a feeling that was going to happen. Something chaotic.

Chapter 4: Dreading

Summary:

Quinn has a heart to heart with his mother about Xandir and his roommates.

Chapter Text

It is day two since Quinn went out of town to go see his parents. And Quinn already misses Xandir so much. He was also worried about his boyfriend, too. After meeting Xandir's roommates, he was concerned for Xandir's mental health and well-being. Which is why Quinn has also been checking up on Xandir via texts and messages since they have been apart. At the moment, he was sitting at the table in the kitchen and having a cup of tea with his mother. His parents were so happy to see him. Quinn was not just a mama's boy but he also loves spending time with his father, too. His mother was looking at him as Quinn was looking at the screen of his cell phone.

"Is everything alright?" His mother suddenly asked him. Quinn nodded and looked at his mother.

"Oh, sorry. I was just checking up on Xandir." Quinn replied to his mother and then put his phone down on the table next to him. His mother nodded. About a week after they got together, that is when Quinn came out with his relationship to his parents. So far, they have been very supportive of it.

"I understand that. How is he doing?" His mother said and asked him another question.

"He is doing okay." Quin replied.

"Also...when are you going to be bring with you so your father and I can meet him?" His mother asked another question.

"You meet him soon, Mom. I promise." Quinn answered. He decided to change the subject before it got too deep. Xandir meeting Quinn's parents was something that Quinn was not ready for. At least, not just yet.

"By the way...I met his roommates for the first time earlier this week." Quinn replied and told her.

"Oh? How did that go?" His mother asked. Quinn let out a sigh before he answered her again.

"Honestly...I feel so bad for him. Most of his roommates are pretty ignorant from what I have seen and when I spoke to them as well. Except this one woman named Foxxy that lives with them. She seems to be the only nice one out of all his roommates. There was another woman named Clara that just irks me quite a bit. The first thing that came out of her mouth was basically that gay couples aren't natural and I wanted to cuss her out so bad but I held back as until we left. For Xandir's sake. I love Xandir so much and I am willing to put up with his roommates but I am so worried about him, ya know. For a few reasons." Quinn replied and explained to his mother.

"I do not blame you for how you feel. People like that always irk me as well. But, do not force yourself to be around his roommates, if you do not feel comfortable around them. How does he feel about his roommates?" His mother said back and asked another question.

"He told me that he has been considering moving out but is worried about telling his roommates that since they have been living with each other for quite a bit of time. Nor..he really has a place to go at the moment. It does not mean he has not been looking for a place, though." Quinn replied. Quinn did have a question about that for his mother.

"...How would you feel if Xandir came to live with me at my home?" Quinn asked. He was worried about her reaction, too.

"Well...how do you feel about it? And did he ask to live with you?" His mother asked two questions back to him.

"Honestly, I would be very happy for him to live with me. He is not a bad person or anything like that, I promise you, Mama. I also thought about this. Thought about it a lot actually. And no, he did not ask me...I suggested it to him. Not because he brought up the fact that he wants to move out of where he is right now. I suggested it to him because...I have been feeling lonely and...Xandir would be the perfect roommate for me. Besides being an amazing boyfriend, of course. I mean...I like being alone but...not all the time." Quinn explained and answered both of his mother's questions.

"If you feel like it is a good idea, then I am fine with it. And I believe that you have thought about it before you suggested it to him. I also do not doubt that he is a nice person either. Not to mention that you are both adults and it is your home, no mine or your father's." His Mom said back to him. Quinn was telling the truth. He did feel lonely a lot when being in his house. Not just because it was a big house, too. Sure, Quinn has friends and Xandir but...his friends barely really have time to hang out with him. And he loves spending time with his boyfriend, regardless. As much time as he possibly can.

"So...you do not think that I would be making a bad decision by having Xandir move in with me" Quinn asked her. His mother shook her head.

"Personally, I think that you being an adult, you should do what feels right to you. Also, I know the kind of person you are. You would never suggest someone to move in with you if you did not trust them. Whatever feels right to you, I will support your choice and decision on it." His mother replied to him. Quinn agreed with her on that.

"Thanks, Mom." Quinn said to her.

"You are welcome, hun. Though...I hope I can meet him soon. Well, I hope your father and I can meet him. It has been a few years since you have dated anyone." His mother said back to him. That was also true. It has been a few years since Quinn has dated someone. And it was because Quinn's ex-boyfriend from the last relationship he was in before getting with Xandir caused a lot of pain. Physically and mentally. His ex was very abusive and manipulative towards Quinn. Neither of them have spoken to one another since the breakup (which was honestly the best thing to happen to Quinn when it came to that relationship). And now, Quinn has been the happiest he has ever been since becoming Xandir's lover. Though, Quinn is not against Xandir meeting his parents. Quinn just did not want to stress his boyfriend or himself out over it.

He was just not exactly sure what would be the right time for that to happen.

"You will, Mom. I just need to wait until the time is right but I promise that Xandir will meet both of you. No need to worry about it." Quinn told his mother. His mother understood.

"I understand that, hun. Well, whenever you are ready for us to meet him, just let us know and we will set up a date for it! I do not want you to feel like I am forcing you to do this. I just do not want you to feel like you have to hide anything from us nor be able to see him because he is a man. Your father and I love and support you, no matter who you are with. We just want you to be happy, too." His mother explained to him. Quinn smiled.

"That means a lot to me." Quinn said.

"And you mean a lot to us, too, sweetie." His Mother said back. It felt really wonderful to have supportive parents in his life. Both of them have always been supportive of their son. ..Unlike a few of Quinn's family members, which he has not spoken at all to since he turned 18.

"At least my parents support me. Can't say the same for some of my other family members, though. ...Assholes." Quinn said to himself. He was not going to think about those family members right now. Quinn does not need that kind of negativity in his life. Not one bit of it. For now, Quinn was still going to give it some time before bringing Xandir to meet his family. Things were going great the way they are. And hopefully...they will stay that way, too.

Chapter 5: Why Can We Just Exist?

Summary:

After his roommates meeting Quinn for the first time and Clara's homophobic outburst, Xandir is questioning a lot of the choices that he has made in his life since he began to live with them. And Foxxy is always going to be someone that has his back when no one else does in the house.

Chapter Text

It was a boring day. Quinn was going to be quite busy so there was no chance of him getting to get together with him for the afternoon. And since he did not want to go out unless it was with his boyfriend, Xandir just has been hanging out in his room. At the moment, he was laying on his bed with the back facing the mattress and his eyes staring up at the ceiling. A lot has been on his mind since Quinn met his roommates. And Xandir still can hear Clara's hateful words playing over and over in the back of his mind like a horrible melody.

It hurt Xandir's heart to see Quinn getting pelted by Clara's putrid, verbal venom. Not to mention that it was really uncalled for. Yet, Quinn seemed not to be bothered too much by it but for some reason, Xandir could not let go of it. He just felt so stuck right now. He let out a sigh. An exhausted sigh.

"Why can't Clara just keep her mouth shut? People like Quinn and I are beings, too! ..Even if we are in love with one another." Xandir said to himself. He snapped out of his train of thought when he heard a knock on the door.

"Xandir, you in there? It is only me." Xandir sat up in the bed. Again, it was only Foxxy on the other side of the door and no one else. At this point, she is the only person in the house that he not only liked as a person and considered a good friend but Foxxy is the only in the house that he can actually trust. Xandir sat up on the bed before giving her an answer.

"Come on in!" Xandir exclaimed. The door to his bedroom opened and Foxxy came into the room. She also shut the door before looking at him.

"Are you doing okay?" Foxxy asked him. Xandir shrugged his shoulders.

"Honestly...I am not sure how to feel about anything right now." Xandir replied. She walked over and sat on the side of the bed with him.

"I am sorry about what happened when Quinn came to visit. Honestly, I am not surprised with what Clara said to your boyfriend but I am just surprised that Quinn was able to handle it so well. She was not only being very ignorant but quite rude to someone that she just met, too." Foxxy spoke. Xandir nodded in agreement.

"No disagreement here on that. And it is okay. Quinn is pretty much a mellow and chill person but for some reason..I am the one who has ended up much more bothered by it than he is. I am also surprised that Quinn did not break up with me after all of that. Is it weird to feel that way?" Xandir spoke back and asked. Foxxy shook her head.

"It is truly okay to feel the way you feel. It is also understandable. It seems that he really loves you." Foxxy answered. Xandir suddenly got up from the bed and walked over to the window in his room. He stood next to it.

"I agree. Though, I do not understand why people like Quinn and I can not just be able to be ourselves? Why can't we just be able to exist? I mean, yeah, we are gay but that does not mean that we are "sinners" or "gross". We are beings! Besides me being an elf and Quinn being a human, there is really not much of a difference between us and the rest of the world." Xandir questioned and said. He then turned and looked out of the window from a distance.

"Maybe I am just overthinking things but honestly at this point, that is all I feel that I can do. I love Quinn so much and I just want him to be happy. But being around the rest of the roommates, except when it comes to you because I trust you..they just need to back off and let us be us. And I am not sure how Quinn would feel being put in a situation when it comes to this place. I never thought I would be like this but I finally found someone who is just amazing in every way inside and out and they just want to shit on that happiness." Xandir told her.

Foxxy felt so bad for him.

"You are not going to break up with Quinn, are you?" Foxxy asked, feeling curious.

"I do not plan on doing that. I just need to find a way so Quinn does not have to deal with Clara and the others' bullshit again. Do I blame everyone? No. Would I not put it past everyone else to act horribly towards him? Absolutely, I would not put it past them that way. Maybe I am also selfish but this man is someone who also makes me happy, too." Xandir replied and explained. Hearing him be like this was something that Foxxy has never expected of Xandir.

"You really have thought a lot about this." Foxxy pointed out. Xandir nodded.

"I really have. Also after what happened, I am not sure I really want to be here anymore either. For many reasons. Physically and mentally." Xandir also spoke.

"I do not disagree with you on that. After what happened, I would be feeling the same way." Foxxy said. This made Xandir suddenly remember something that Quinn said to him that day while they were out together.

"Quinn told me that if I need a place to stay..he offered for me to move in with him." Xandir brought up.

"Oh? He did?" Foxxy asked a couple of questions.

"Yes. As much as I do want to live with him..I am not sure if it is a good idea." Xandir replied.

"Why do you feel like it is a bad idea?" Foxxy asked yet another question to him. Xandir let out a sigh. He was not annoyed with her. Just suddenly feeling quite a bit of worry when thinking about all of this.

“Because I do not want to feel like a burden to and for him. Quinn has such great things going on for him in his life and to be real..I am like such a huge bum compared to him." Xandir replied with a little sadness in his voice. Foxxy smiled at him and got up form the bed. She walked over to him and placed one of her hands on one of Xandir's shoulders.

"Xandir, honestly, out of all of us, you are truly the best roommate in this house. Every person has a different path in their life, it does not make their path worth any less than everyone else's. And if Quinn loves you, he would want to walk the path along with you. Walk each other's paths together. I do not doubt that you would not be a burden to him. I promise you that you are not." Foxxy told him, telling him the truth with a smile on her face. Plus, she is right. If Quinn truly does love Xandir then Quinn would support and love him for who he is. It is not like Xandir is lazy or anything in the slightest. It is just hard to do things when people refuse to want you to be around them for one thing or another.

Xandir gave her a smile back.

"You are right. I mean, I am not ready right now to live with him but I am hugely considering it when the time comes. Also..I think you are the best roommate, too." Xandir also told her.

"And when you are ready to move in with him, I will make sure that you truly get a celebration! Not like the other ones like before. I will make sure the others are not going to be apart of it. It will be a celebration for you and Quinn. As friends of both of yours, too." Foxxy said and offered.

"Thanks, Foxxy. You know. I am glad that we are friends. You are really a great person to hang out with and talk to." Xandir complimented.

"I feel the same about you, too, Xandir. And you are very welcome. Sorry that the rest of the group is so fucked up. I am not saying that I am innocent but I mean..you have seen how everyone can truly be. We both have seen who they are." Foxxy said back.

"I get what you are saying. BY the way...can we keep this between the two of us, please? I would hate to get lashed at everyone." Xandir asked her. Foxxy nodded.

"Do not worry. You have my word. I will make sure that our conversations stay just between us and no one else. Though, you can talk about it with Quinn, he seems like a trusting guy." Foxxy answered.

"He truly is." Xandir said back.

"What does Quinn do as a job? Just curious." Foxxy asked one more question.

"He is a dancer. And quite good at it as well. Excellent actually. His skills and flexibility are truly incredible. Just like the rest of him. Inside and out." Xandir replied.

"I would love to see any videos of him dancing..if he has any." Foxxy told him.

"He has a Youtube channel with his dance covers on them and such. ..Want to watch a few with me? If you have time." Xandir responded and suggested. Foxxy loved the sound of that.

"I have plenty of time. I would love to watch a few of his videos with you." Foxxy responded. For the next 30 minutes in Xandir's room, Foxxy and Xandir sat on his bed while watching videos of Quinn's dancing covers. Foxxy was so mesmerized by Quinn's skills.

"Wow! He truly is quite flexible. Especially in those high heels." Foxxy spoke.

"I know right! I am always amazed when seeing him dance." Xandir said.

"Has he ever done music videos as a back up dancer?" Foxxy asked.

"I think he has done a couple but not many at the moment." Xandir replied. As they finished watching the second video, the screen changed on Xandir's phone, letting him know that there was an incoming phone call. And it is a phone call from Quinn. Xandir did not take long to answer.

"Hey babe!" Xandir happily exclaimed.

"Hey! Sorry that I have not been able to talk much until now. I Hope that I am not bothering you but I was curious if you wanted to get dinner tonight with me. My treat." Quinn responded and suggested.

"You know I am always down to hanging out with you!" Xandir answered. He suddenly got an idea.

"Is it okay if I bring a friend? It is one of my roommates and she is very nice. She is not like the others, I promise. Unless..you just want it to be the two of us." Xandir suggested.

"I do not mind at all. Bring her along! I will always pay for her meal, too. I would like to meet her." Quinn replied. Xandir felt happy about this. It would be a great way for Quinn to get to know some of the people that he knows that love him but it would be only Foxxy that Xandir wants Quinn to get to know. Not anyone else.

"Thank you, hun! What time do you want to get together?" Xandir asked to make sure.

"I was thinking maybe 5:30-6pm. If that is okay. It would be a few hours because I still have a little more to do but it should not take that long to finish. Just some little odd and ends. Is that okay?" Quinn replied and asked, also to make sure that Xandir and his friend were okay with that time. Xandir was fine with it but he wanted to make sure that Foxxy was. He looked at her.

"Is 5:30-6pm okay with you?" Xandir asked Foxxy. Foxxy nodded. Xandir went back to talking to Quinn on the phone.

"That is perfectly fine with both of us." Xandir answered.

"Excellent! I will let you know when I am on my way. See you both in a few hours, love!" Quinn told him. Xandir was so excited. It seems that his day was starting to get better and better by the minute.

"See you in a few hours, babe. I love you." Xandir said.

"Love you, too." Quinn said back. After another minute or two, Xnadir and Quinn ended their phone call. He look at Foxxy once again.

"Do you mind joining us? I Should have asked  you first but it was a spur of the moment idea." Xandir asked.

"I do not mind. I thank you for letting me join both of you. I will make sure to be on my best behavior." Foxxy answered.

"No worries! I am not sure where we are going but you do not need to be fancy." Xandir told her.

"I understand. Also, I will not let the others know what is going on for us tonight. They do not need to know anyway that I am going with you." Foxxy said. Xandir agreed on that.

"Same here." Xandir also told him. After a little bit longer, Foxxy left Xandir alone in his bedroom once again. But instead of feeling off like he was before, he was feeling happier and more content. And tonight..he hoped that the three of them were going to have a blast. Even if it is just going out for dinner. Xandir hopes that the rest of the household will not find out about this. Especially Clara. She is the last person that he wants to find out about this. And their conversation, too.

Chapter 6: My Man

Summary:

Quinn and Xandir are spending the day together but when it comes to the rest of the world, it seems that some people are not fond of their relationship Even if they do not know anything about them at all.

Chapter Text

Xandir just needed to get out of the house and away from the other housemates. When Quinn called him to ask if he wanted to spend some time together in the park, he did not waste any time saying yes to spending time with him. And since the incident with his roommates and his boyfriend, besides from Foxxy, Xandir has grown a bit distant with them. He never really had a friendship but this just made him feel more animosity towards most of them. The two boyfriends were sitting on the bench together, looking at what was going on in front of them at the park.

"I have been thinking about what you asked me." Xandir suddenly piped up.

"About moving in with me?" Quinn asked, just to make sure.

"Yes." Xandir replied then looked at him.

"I have been truly considering it after what they did to you when they first met you. And I am so sorry that happened, by the way. They should not have been like that towards you. It was uncalled for and still pisses me off." Xandir told him. Quinn looked at him as well.

"No need to apologize to me. You have warned me about them before so I was not really surprised but I was shocked at the time it happened, not gonna lie. I am still truly amazed how you can tolerate them." Quinn said.

"Honestly..I cannot stand most of them. Except for Foxxy, who is really a nice person to me and likes you, the rest of them just make me so angry and irk me to the core." Xandir spoke.

"Is it because of the contact you have with the show?" Quinn asked. Xandir nodded.

"basically that is why I put up with them. If I leave or move out or even get kicked for whatever reason, I would no longer be a part of the program. And honestly deep down, I would be okay with that. I need to start putting my mental and physical health first when it comes to my living situation." Xandir also explained again. Quinn agreed.

"I am sorry that you are in that situation, hun. You know I always have your back, no matter what. You mean a lot to me. And if I have to, I am not afraid of your roommates, I mean that. I am not afraid to fight for you." Quinn apologized and let him know. Xandir laid his head on top of Quinn's shoulder.

"You do not have to fight my battles for me but I do appreciate that." Xandir thanked him. Quinn smiled then also laid his own head on top of Xandir's.

"You are welcome, babe." Quinn said back to him. Xandir really felt like if he did get kicked off of the show and out of the house, it would not be something sad for him.

"Also, I am not ready to move right now but I will let you know if that changes." Xandir said to him as he took a sip of coffee from his cup.

"So..You would like to move in with me?" Quinn asked. Xandir nodded.

"Yes, I do very much. I am just conflicted for the time being but I am not against the idea of us living together. I just need time. I have been thinking about quitting the show anyway but I am still not sure about it. It pays my bills but if it helps my mental health and such, I'd much rather have a different job/career." Xandir replied.

"Do you have a college degree of any kind?" Quinn asked, just being curious. This time, Xandir shook his head.

"Not yet. I want to have one, though. I would love to get into something that I love to do and make a career out of it. Not sure what yet because there are many things that I would like to do." Xandir explained.

"And whatever you decide to do, you will have my support and I will help with it as much as I can." Quinn told him. Xandir could not help but smile. Quinn is not only a gentleman with Xandir but also cares about him, too. Something that rarely happens for him.

"It is just that I have been with them for so long that it may be hard to leave them but at the same time..I may have to. Not that I think most of them would miss me anyway. Still, it is just something that makes me think, ya know?" Xandir asked.

"I get that. If it is money that you are having issues with, I can help pay bills while you go to school and stuff. I do not mind that." Quinn offered. Yet, even if Quinn did not mind it, Xandir kind of does.

"I..I do not want it make it seem like I am taking advantage of you. I will pay you back every penny. I promise, I will." Xandir told him. Quinn placed both of his hands on top of Xandir's, which were resting on the table in front of him.

"Babe, if I got that feeling from you that you were, I would not be with you in the first place. I really do not mind nor do you have to pay me back. As long as you are taking care of and achieve what you want to do then it is worth every penny to me. Understand?" Quinn spoke to him. Xandir did understand.

"Of course. I just worry. That's all." Xandir spoke back.

"I understand but no need to worry. Everything is going to be fine between the two of us. And when you are ready to move out of that place, into mine and/or go to college, you just let me know. I am not going anywhere as long as you want me in your life." Quinn said.

"I will. You have my word." Xandir assured him.

"I love you." Xandir squeezed Quinn's a little tighter in his.

"I love you, too." Xandir expressed back. It seems that everything was going to be okay with him and Quinn. But..will everything be okay with Xandir and his roommates when he does finally tells them that he is done and wants out of the show? He will only know when the time comes. When and if it ever does.

Chapter 7: Needing To Get Out

Summary:

After having an arguement with Clara, Xandir decides that he needs to get out of the house before things get worse..and not just for the night.

Chapter Text

Xandir was angry and in his room, just trying to calm down. He and Clara got into a fight about him being with his boyfriend. It has not been the first time that she has been very homophobic towards him but speaking about his man the way that she did, not only hurts but angers him. The fight was not only something that did not need to happen but something that Clara should have not done regardless.

"I am so sick of that spoiled, two-faced bitch. Like, I do not care what she thinks about me and me being with men but he did nothing to deserve the hatred that she was speaking of. Quinn is such an incredible and wonderful person and I am NOT going to let her treat or speak about him like that. Especially in front of me." Xandir said to himself. He walked over to his bed and laid on top of it while staring up at the ceiling.

"I am seriously considering just leaving this place and not looking back. I am so done with everything when it comes to this house at this point." Xandir spoke to himself. All of a sudden, his phone rang. It was Quinn. He is the only person he truly wants to talk to at the moment. Xandir picked up the phone and answered it.

"Hey babe!" Xandir greeted him.

"Hey hun! I just wanted to see how your are doing." Quinn greeted him back. Xandir felt like that he needed to tell what just happened.

"I'm..I am honestly not doing too great but I am so glad to hear your voice right now." Xandir admitted.

"Aw, babe. What's wrong?" Quinn asked. Xandir let out a sigh before he spoke again.

"Clara and I got into a fight." Xandir replied.

"About what?" Quinn wanted to know.

"It was about you. Well, you and I when it comes to us dating each other. Also..she said some things about you that I really do not want to repeat." Xandir told him.

"It is okay to tell me. What did she say about both of us?" Quinn was curious.

"Clara was just spewing homophobic crap and saying that we should burn in hell for being the way we are with each other." Xandir explained.

"I am so sorry, babe. I am not surprised that she would be like that from what you told me. I am also sorry that she upset and pissed you off as well." Quinn said.

"It is okay. I know I should be used to it but in all honesty..I am not sure if I ever want to be used to it." Xandir said back.

"No one should have to be used to getting treated horribly. Regardless of who they are." Quinn spoke.

"I fully agree." Xandir spoke back. He suddenly had a sudden thought pop up into his head.

"By the way..is the offer for moving in with you still an option?" Xandir suddenly asked.

"Are you considering it? And yes, it is." Quinn asked and answered.

"I am. I am so sick of this place and all of the bullshit that goes on. It is just taking a toll on my mental health and I am not sure if I really want to be in this place anymore. I am just so tired of it." Xandir replied.

"I get that. Whenever you feel ready, you just let me know. Okay?" Quinn let him know as well. Xandir smiled.

"I will." Xandir said. Quinn also got an idea of his own as well.

"Want to spend some time with me tonight so you can get away for a bit? We can do anything you want to." Quinn offered.

"You know what..I would like to do something with you. And yeah, I really need to get out of here for a couple of hours." Xandir accepted the offer.

"Want take out for dinner? I mean, it is up to you what you want to do but if you would like, we can get dinner and go to my place to watch a movie or something together. Cuddle on the couch. ..I really enjoy doing things like that with you, Xandir." Quinn admitted as well.

"I love doing those things with you, too. And actually, let's do that. I am for Asian food of any kind." Xandir also suggested and gave his answer.

"I will pick up either Chinese or Korean and then pick you up after. Is that okay?" Quinn wanted to make sure. Both of those sounded good to him. And getting out of the house will truly help him feel so much about what happened.

"Sounds wonderful to me." Xandir replied.

"Great! I will see you in about an hour or so t! I love you so much!" Quinn exclaimed happily. Xandir let out a happy chuckle.

"I love you so much, too. See you in about, babe." Xandir said back to him. After that both hung up, Xandir laid in the bed for another minute.

"Fuck Clara. I am still going to live my life the way I want to and I do not care if people approve of Quinn or not. He makes me happy nor hurts me and that is all that matters. Quinn is going to be with me for as long we can be together." Xandir said to himself then sat up on the bed. He got off of it and headed over to get ready so he could meet Quinn when he arrived at the house to pick him up.

"I just hope that people one day realize that there is nothing wrong with what Quinn and I are doing. But at the same time, I know that is not going to change much. That is usually the case about things like this." Xandir thought. When Quinn did arrive at the house, Xandir was already waiting outside for him. Xandir hurried over to the car and quickly got inside of it.

"You okay there?" Quinn asked as Xandir was buckling his seatbelt.

"Oh yeah. I am doing better now." Xandir replied then looked at Quinn.

"I am just so glad to see you. Thank you for doing this." Xandir spoke. Quinn was happy to see him, too.

"No problem! Also, I was getting bored anyway but I really do want you to come hang out with me at my place so you can get away from them more than just trying to cure my boredom." Quinn explained.

"I understand. Either way, I am just glad to be out regardless and to see you." Xandir said.

"I agree." Quinn said back then the two of them headed down the street to Quinn's home. As Quinn had his eyes on the road in front of him, Xandir was looking out the window.

"Do you think it would be a good idea for me to live with you?" Xandir suddenly asked him.

"I do." Quinn answered.

"I..I just want to make sure. I mean, I am seriously considering leaving that place because it is getting to my mental health I want to get away from that spoiled brat." Xandir let him know.

"I am so sorry that some of your roommates are so awful to you. You said that Foxxy is not but the others are." Quinn apologized to him.

"Foxxy is the only one who truly has a heart in that house. And no need to apologize. It is not your fault for what goes on in that house." Xandir spoke.

"But you mentioned on the phone that they said stuff about me and you being together?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah. A few can not accept the fact that I am gay and I am with you but Clara is the most vocal about it when it comes to her homophobia." Xandir replied.

"I get that. I have had that happen to me as well but with my own family. Luckily that I do not need them in my life nor want them to be a part of it. My parents are supportive, though." Quinn told him.

"You are lucky to have parents that support you. Mine does not really support me much at all." Xandir also told him.

"Well, I will always support you, if that helps." Quinn said. Xandir smiled.

"It does a lot. And I support you, too. I always will." Xandir said back. That made Quinn happy.

"I love you, Xandir. I know I say it too much but I cannot help it. I really feel that way about you with all of my heart." Quinn said. Xandir felt happy, too.

"You can say it to me as much as you want, babe. I love you with all of my heart, too. Nor will I ever get tired of hearing you say it." Xandir let him know.

"And I will not get tired of you saying it to me, too." Quinn also let him know, too. The rest of the car ride, the two of them sat in their seats just to feel like their hearts were going to burst out of their chests because they were so full of and with excitement.

"I think living with Quinn would be amazing. I think I am going to go for it but..I am not sure how I am going to let the others know that I have made this decision. Most of them will probably not care but that is okay. I will be way happier doing this in the long run. Plus, Quinn is always so fun to be around, too." Xandir thought to himself. When they finally arrived to Quinn's home, they got out of the car and got the Korean BBQ that was in the backseat of the car before heading to and inside of the house together. As they sat on the couch in Quinn's living room watching a movie and cuddled up together, Xandir has been thinking about what it would be like to truly live with his boyfriend. And now, he has finally made up about it.

Xandir turned his head and looked up at him.

"Quinn?" Xandir suddenly piped up.

"Yes?" Quinn responded back.

"I want to move in with you." Xandir said. Quinn turned his head to look at Xandir this time.

"You do?" Quinn asked. Xandir gave him a nod.

"I really do. I just need to tell the others but I am going to do it sooner than later. I am just not sure how to tell them." Xandir explained.

"We are really in no rush but when you have told them, just tell me. And I will have a few of my friends along with myself to help you get your stuff moved into my place." Quinn told him.

"I will let you know. I promise. I just need to figure out a good time to tell them as well. I honestly do not think they will care that I am leaving but I have truly made up my mind and this what I want to do." Xandir explained again.

"I understand. What about Foxxy? How do you think that she will feel about this?" Quinn was curious.

"I think she would just want me to be happy. I am not moving out because of her. I am moving out because of everyone else." Xandir replied.

"She will always been allowed to come visit and in my house. ..Just not the others." Quinn assured him.

"I appreciate that. I was not going to let them come near your house but Foxxy is a good person and very trustworthy. I think you and her would get along well. The others..I would recommend to just stay clear of them." Xandir advised.

"Noted. And I think Foxxy and I would get along as well. I never got the impression that she was one of the bad ones. Though..I do not know her fully yet but I am just saying that is how I feel when it comes to her." Quinn spoke.

"I get that and you does not have to be friends with her if you do not want to as well, no matter what. But I would not say this stuff about her if it was not true." Xandir said.

"I know, hun. I truly do know." Quinn said back. Xandir and Quinn got comfortable on the couch again.

"So..it is official? You want to move in with me?" Quinn asked, just making sure once more.

"Yes, dear. It is official. I really do want to move in with you." Xandir confirmed. Quinn was excited.

"I cannot wait. Well, I can wait until you tell your roommates and stuff but..I am just so happy." Quinn said.

"Me too. And they will know about this. Much sooner than later." Xandir told him. The young elf ended up spending the whole night with his boyfriend because Xandir still did not feel comfortable going back home until tomorrow. Which Quinn was truly fine with. Also..it gives Xandir a chance to see what it would be like to sleep in his boyfriend's home. Even if it is on the couch for now, he was still able to have a good night there. And Quinn was going to make sure that he stays safe until he is fully moved into his house. He has always been so worried about the love of his life staying in that toxic environment with those people.

"I love you, Xandir. More than I can truly ever put into words." Quinn thought then gave him a kiss on the forehead as he was asleep on the couch.

"Good night, babe." Quinn softly spoke out loud so he would not wake him up before going to his room and going to sleep for the rest of the night.
