Summary
Elrond is pretty sure that visiting the Halls to pick up his foster father shouldn't be this difficult.
Maedhros is pretty sure he's about to be thrown into the Void, and he's okay with that.
A reunion/reembodiment fic! One chapter is the events from Elrond's PoV, the other from Maedhros's. Everything turns out okay, I promise, but it's a bit of a ride getting there.

Summary
After the First Age ended in fire and flood, Maglor Feanorion, the last survivor of his house, became a wandering musician. For the rest of his life, he sang by the seashore, telling the story of his people and their fall from grace.
Well. He tried.
Maglor’s problems begin when he is discovered by Elrond, his foster son and accidental hostage. (It’s a long story.) Instead of exacting revenge on his kidnapper, Elrond sends Maglor on a quest with four strange hairy-footed children, a disgruntled dwarf, the long-lost heir to the throne of Gondor, a man named Boromir, and a pretentious wizard.
