In some miraculous way, rumors of Ron and Cedric being in love spread throughout Hogwarts. Even though the red-haired boy tried to explain and the brown-haired senior smiled gently, everyone still believed it. Ron was disappointed, Ron gave up, he consoled himself that it was good that senior Cedric knew the truth. And what does Cedric think? He just smiled without speaking.
