Summary
“Jamie went up to Manchester.”
“You miss him.”
“No.”
Yes.
“Jamie went up to Manchester to see his father.”
Ruth’s expression, which had lit up with teasing fondness at the thought of Roy missing his best friend, falls back into concern at this. She knows about Jamie’s dad, a bit anyway. She’d entertained Roy’s request, after Wembley, to be the one to take Phoebe to school in the morning, but asked that he stop by hers after and pulled an explanation from him. She’d sat with him in the kitchen and reminded him that they’d broken the cycle for Phoebe. He’d done everything he could for them. Maybe all he could do for Jamie at that time was a hug, but he’d done it. He’d done everything he could.
Roy knows Jamie better now, though. He should be able to do more for him. He should be able to fix this.
“I just wish I could make things better for him,” Roy admits.
“You always do."Or, I have a lot of feelings about the finale trying to give James Tartt Sr. a half-assed redemption arc, and I think that Roy Kent would, too.

Summary
When his son betrays signs of being kara-touched, Jango Fett sets out into the galaxy in a search of people who could help.
Before, it wouldn’t be a challenge. The Jetiise were everywhere, roaming the galaxy and fighting the Separatists.
Now though, they are the only people the Empire hunts more viciously than the Mandalorians.
Arriving on Coruscant to work a job that is supposed to fund his mission, Jango hears a story of so-called Angel of the Underworld, a semi-legendary, magical being who helps people in the Coruscant’s lower levels. He decides to investigate.
He also meets Ben, a red-headed thief/barman/bouncer with more secrets than your average ISB agent. And, as more and more of them come to light, Jango becomes convinced that there might be more to Ben than meets the eye.***
Or a JangoObi! Imperial Era AU you didn’t know you needed! Jango is his grumpy self, but instead of hating the Jedi, he hates the Empire (they did blow up his planet), and Obi-Wan, Order 66 survivor, is making ends meet in the bowels of Coruscant, protecting a bunch of adorable Jedi younglings that he managed to smuggle out of the Temple. Feels ensue.

Summary
The trap door opens.
The jedi peers down into the dark pit of Anakin’s cell, backlit by dusty sun. His eyes take a moment to adjust, but when they do, they land on Anakin, sitting half-upright on his mat, and he smiles.
“Hello there,” he says.
Anakin suddenly wishes he weren’t half-dead and covered in a week’s worth of sweat and dirt, and not only because it sucks – because this jedi is fucking gorgeous – young enough that he could still be a padawan, with thick auburn hair down to his shoulders, sharp blue eyes and freckles, like some Sith invented him for the purposes of exquisite torture.
And Anakin’s a lot more charming when he hasn’t been locked up and beaten for a week, but right now the best he can manage is a sort of wondering, “Who are you?”
