All successful business partnerships are built upon solid foundations of mutual respect and trust.
J and V, however, have a relationship that feels like it's anything but beneficial- or even consistent for that matter.
Still, having been thrust into a life of endless slaughter and cannibalism, the two girls have no choice but to adapt to their shared future. How they adapt to eachother, however, is still unclear.

In short- J and V are really unhealthy for each other, but neither of them want to acknowledge that!
This is primarily a continuation of the ideas and events surrounding my previous post-canon works centering around V and her journey of recovery and self-realization, but I think it's about time I gave J a proper look too, so expect a good amount of insights into our favorite corpo's convoluted view of the world and those she shares it with.

The Solver may be gone, but V's issues still remain, even if she won't readily admit it. From her own current relationships, to scars that run much deeper, there is a lot for V to reflect on.
And boy, does that sound hard to do for a drone whose spent her whole life trying to avoid doing just that.

First time writing something for a fandom! Murder Drones has me in an unexpected iron grip, specifically V and how complicated she is under her facade.
I started this fic intending to just play around and make a lighthearted one-shot with the Vuzi dynamic in a canon-friendly manner, but it quickly blossomed into a multi-chapter exploration into V's problems and relationships with others and her views on things.
The first 5 chapters will follow a set story wherein V must face some hard facts about herself, whereas the chapters after will be less structured post chapter 5 interactions I wanted to write or relationships I wanted to explore.

Tl;dr: I really like writing V and I rotate her in my brain like an overclocked centrifuge.

Summary
Serial Designation: V has worn many faces during her long and unforgiving life, letting forces beyond her control mold her into whatever shape she needed to be. A shy and quiet maid in an unforgiving nightmare of a manor. A merciless, blood-frenzied killer wetting her fangs with the life-blood of her kin. A snarky and irritable lone wolf who told herself she was better off alone.
But now, all that has passed. The unstoppable force that had made her into who she had become had been, against all logic, been stopped. She's free.
At long last, she has a future...Now all she needs to do is figure out what to do with it.
Can she leave her past behind her? Or will her past continue to shape her even now?
Who will she be to the new partners at her side after a life of loneliness?
Who will she be to the friends she managed to make during her journey?
Who will she be to the estranged traitor of a girl that she used to look to for comfort?
