Summary
All his life Bang Chan has been one thing, but called himself another. Traditionalist views say he should have been an Alpha, or even a Beta, but when he comes to age he is an Omega, confusing his pack and himself. An Omega with a bigger build, bigger muscles, and less soft appearance than the Omegas the world has come to known. “I came home early.”
“I can see that.” Seonghwa cups his face and takes in every birthmark, eyelash and dimple as if he’s not quite certain he’s real and not just a figment of his imagination as a result of sniffing wayyy too many chemicals in that cologne. “Why?”
“Because I missed you.” Chan deadpans, voice muffled as Seonghwa squishes his cheeks between his palms.
“Did you?” Seonghwa whispers, a bit taken aback by the prospect of Chan missing him to the point of skipping out of work. In the middle of a tour nonetheless.
Chan’s eyes soften and he sighs, grabbing Seonghwa’s wrists to make him release his face. “Unbearably so. I was getting on Jisung and Changbin’s nerves pouting about it.”
For all the flowers, and love letters, and lavish trips, this might be the most romantic gesture Chan has ever done for him.

"So we didn't keep you up last night?"
"No," he insists. "No. Why —" he laughs, shakily. "What do you mean? Why would you keep me up? I didn't hear any noise."
"I didn't say anything about making noise."
"I just assumed," Hyunjin blurts out, wincing. "That — that was — what you meant."
"So you didn't hear anything last night? Nothing at all?"
"...No, I didn't."
For a moment, Felix is silent. Hyunjin can almost see the gears turning in his mind as he searches his face. He seems to be satisfied with what he finds.
"Alright," he finally says. The corner of his lip twitches up in a smile. “I’ll guess I’ll have to try harder next time.”
(OR: Hyunjin tries not to listen to Chan and Felix fuck in the room adjacent to his. He fails.)
