Summary
Shane Hollander has an important realization after his break up with Rose Landry. He can't stop think about golden brown curls and ocean eyes and strong hands on his thighs. The man who he felt more seen with than anyone else. The man who had made him a tuna melt and chatted casually with him about his absolute favorite topic. The man who Shane had promptly run away from and not spoken to since.
It's with this in mind that Shane starts to wonder how he could make up for the terrible reaction he'd had to his anxiety spiral on that awful afternoon. Shane thinks about how much effort Ilya has to put in to translating his thoughts into English all the time. How hard Ilya has to work for anyone to understand him. And yes, they had always communicated more through touches and looks than through words. But, Shane thinks, maybe it would be nice to talk to Ilya in his own language. Or, at least, to be able to tell Ilya one specific thing.

Conrad Fisher never believed he deserved Belly Conklin - not really, anyways. He knew he would only dull her effervescent light. So he did what he does best. He pushed her away. Only, whether by the tides of fate or some cruel capricious deity - he keeps being pulled into her orbit.
Or, Conrad’s perspective of events beginning with Christmas in Cousins, as he grapples with the mental illness that so frequently coexists with anxiety disorders.

Summary
After a viral photo outs Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov while they're still busy pretending their years-long situationship is mostly just sex, the fallout gets complicated fast. The world reacts badly. Their teams react worse. Ilya's future in North America starts to look alarmingly fragile, and Shane, who has never met a disaster he didn't try to control into submission, throws himself into fixing what can still be fixed.
Ilya has spent his whole life being wanted for the wrong reasons and discarded for the right ones. Shane has spent his whole life believing that if he is careful enough, good enough, controlled enough, he can keep disaster from reaching the people he loves.
A practical solution emerges, then a house, then rings.
Somehow, by the time they say their vows, both of them are certain they are the only one who means them.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov has been drafted by Boston, the number one pick overall, but his father doesn't want him moving to America and so takes steps to block his visa. He's going to have to go back to Russia and stay there forever and that, thinks Shane Hollander, is wrong.
It's so wrong that Shane can't stop himself from doing something about it. Even though that something is the most reckless, the only reckless thing he's ever done in his life. He marries Rozanov in secret, to keep him out of Russia and put him on a path to Canadian citizenship.
Shane's got a five-year plan to get him there and when you have a plan nothing can go wrong. Right? Right. When you have a solid plan and a marriage that's on paper only there's no risk of feelings getting involved. Not on Rozanov's part and certainly not on Shane's.
Right???

Summary
Someone somewhere said any two people on earth can be linked with only 6 degrees of separation. Shane played this game in his head sometimes. He would make up maps of these links, just for the exercise of it. What he didn't do was map his connection to Ilya Rozanov, who had yet to walk into his life and crash down all 6 degrees of separation in one reckless fell swoop. Shane didn't know it, but he was already 6 degrees away from Ilya Rozanov. Because Shane was driving to Montreal, and Montreal was where a modeling agency he didn't know the name of was based. And that modeling agency recently put an ad out for a new campaign. That ad was seen by a girl named Svetlana who had curly hair and a quick, smart tongue. And that girl had called her best friend, Ilya Rozanov, and said, “There's work for you in Montreal, if you're good enough.” And Ilya Rozanov had been good enough, and was finally, finally getting out of Moscow after 19 miserable years. And those 6 degrees of separation would soon be just 1, because Ilya Rozanov & Shane Hollander would be existing in the same city without either knowing the other one existed.

Summary
Shane Hollander thought that everyone hated Ilya Rozanov. Okay, so maybe they didn't all hate him for the same reasons: hockey players hated him because he was an asshole on the ice, the League hated him because he paralyzed another player, and the fans hated him because he abandoned them for Russia in the middle of his best season.
Shane only hated him because he broke Shane's heart.
But suddenly up is down and down is up: the ban has been lifted, and Rozanov is back in the League. Worse, he's playing on Shane's team. Making friends with Shane's teammates. Sending heart eyes across Shane's locker room floor. Sending flowers to Shane's apartment in the middle of the night!
And somehow, everyone in Shane's life thinks he should be just fine with all this. (Well, okay—he didn't tell them about the flowers.)
But if Ilya Rozanov thinks that Shane Hollander is going to roll over for him a second time, he's going to have just enough time to regret it before Shane proves how very, very wrong he is...
