Summary
With a broken heart and an abandoned building he just bought, Colin Bridgerton had a dream.
To have his own bookshop.
So saying goodbye to his family and friends, to the city he once loved to call home, Colin made the journey to a little town in the countryside to see if his dream was so far out of reach. Of course, he knew it wouldn’t be easy.
To try and renovate a space that’s lost its soul, while trying to heal his heart, and throw in an older brother who doesn’t have much faith in him, it was quite a struggle to get going.
But maybe a sweet redhead baker who owns a cafe across the street might be able to help, and maybe show him that there’s so much more here in this little town he was now a new resident in.

Summary
He had not believed the chronograph would actually allow him to go back again, and he had not considered that his arrival would not move him but deliver him to the same place where he had been only three years earlier - more or less. Colin did not know the date. He was not sure of his standing in the house. If he was a suitor for Miss Thompson, he would be accepted easily. If he was a disgraced former fiance, he would be kicked out.
There was only a window of thirty minutes to visit back and be commended home with what memories he had refreshed. His family was across the street, but he wanted to see Pen. His younger self had never missed that, even if he had tried to mind his manners about it better than the man who had won her hand.
Colin walked upstairs with his ears alert for his mother-in-law’s footsteps. He would have known where to find a calendar in his own house, but he was not sure the Featherington office would be quite as particular. Lord Featherington might be dead or merely absent on his amusements out of the house. He did not work at the books with any faithfulness. Bad news was likely hard to confront, and the estate was faltering.
