A ridiculous series of events, unpredictable even to the Batman, and in the end, not having ever planned for the concluding incident.
There are no contingencies for your co-worker genuinely calling you dad.
That doesn't happen in the JLA.
Bruce hadn’t been aware he was supposed to be an authority figure here.
How could he not have been informed of this?
Well, he must take steps to correct this oversight now.
Or
A whole bunch of the Justice League are way younger, and Bruce finds himself uniquely situated by virtue of his position(lol) to lead a kickass hero team!
