(yes the title is a music reference, sue me; most of the chapter titles are going to be references to songs used for Magnus Archives AMVs, or The Mechanisms lyrics)
This work is somewhat inspired by this fanfic by Deanpala, in which Jon dies at the end of S5 and is sent back into the world of S1 MAG as a moth-monster archivist entity (it's good and quite a bit more fluffy than mine)Series

after the end of the world, Jon takes up a teaching position at a secondary school, and encounters a group of curious cryptid conspiracy theorists (who also happen to be his students). as their investigation on their new English teacher advances, Sam, Nat, Oliver and Ash experience some unintended consequences- and realise something deeper may be at work.
