Summary
“I’m a man of my own choices.” Wriothesley cradles Neuvillette’s jaw in his palms, thumbing over the highs of his cheekbones, treating him with a delicacy that shatters his resolve. “And I chose to have this with you. Whether you were a Sovereign or not, I will always choose you.”
- This is the first time Neuvillette has developed a clutch in response to a mate. In all the snapping and snarling glory of a possessive dragon, his baser instincts have decided that Wriothesley is an eligible enough partner for fledgelings.
It’s enough to scare a man half to death.Series

Summary
The thought of a small fledgeling so very in their own likeness, is a bittersweet thing. Neuvillette had mourned the centuries of his life once, stretched out endlessly into the past and future, shrouded in the shadows of isolation, but now, with Wriothesley, hope blooms in his chest; a pleasant, heavy warmth.
Wriothesley has offered him an immortality that few may find; shared and ever changing. It is a blessing to have an eternity to look forward to. To want. To choose.
- Wriothesley and Neuvilette navigate their relationship in the aftermath of the Prophecy’s fulfilment. One thing they both had not prepared for, was caring for a dragon’s heat cycle along with the reformation of a new Fontaine.
