    Thanks for reading this. I find getting Harry and Draco there actually way easier than getting Angel and Spike there. Partly, it's that Harry and Draco are quite young, and it's easy to make them grow and change. In this fic, they've really become different people than they were.

    I believe that Angel and Spike can grow and change as well, despite being adults, but getting to the part where they have, well, the kind of loving porn I really really like? Really hard. ...It would be fun to posit that they do get there, and then suddenly one of them gets whooshed back in time to just post-NFA, where they definitely are on the road to making it work but still a long way away from the destination. That is, current-Spike is replaced by a future-Spike who has a much more developed, mature, and loving relationship with Angel. I'm thinking of that right now because it was really, really fun to write the parts where Draco was so so so emotionally into it, and Harry was just like, "...the fuck?"

    We've talked about mistful, haven't we, and you've read heard, haven't you? I can't remember. She is basically everything, everything that I want from this pairing. If you don't know her you should email me ([email protected])--she took all her fics off-line and changed her name.

    I thought there was rather a lot about this world that didn't really make sense, but I did love thinking to myself, "Now, what is the Harry Potter version of ALIAS/James Bond?"

      That's true - I always still like to see something of the evolution of it, and so tend to find shorter fics less satisfying - and it is just a pairing that it's hard to really sell me on (this is a thing I apparently LIKE in my ships /o\), but you're right that it's easier to them/get them to the point they can change. They don't have 100 years of history. :)

      I have read mistful, and we have talked about it. Her stuff is great.
