Summary
I will simply never get enough of the restrained pining, 19th-century circumlocutions, or domesticity on Tharkay's mysterious estate (though earlier points in canon are great too). As above, I really love first times or some sense of a turning point in their relationship. Period details would be particularly lovely, though I'm picky about this with this era. This is the fandom where I'd probably most welcome explicit fic, but it is absolutely not required - just a kiss on the hand would be incendiary!

I’ve been rewatching the TV show recently and I just love how ridiculously Established Relationship they are, with their nice holidays and candlelit dinners and married bickering. But I also have a real fondness for First Times – whether them getting together romantically or anything that’s a turning point in their relationship. Would prefer pre-Hastings-moves-to-Argentina era (I'm not particularly attached to continuity here, as neither is the show).

I will never stop being delighted by how this cosy crime drama about a Catholic priest becomes a Seething Hotbed of UST whenever Hercule Flambeau shows up. I would love something set at any point during canon (you do not have to include their unconvincing attempts to make Flambeau heterosexual), involving them teaming up to cause/solve crime, playing chess, having tea and scones, or whatever you like. Other canon characters can definitely show up, but the Flambeau nonsense is my favourite. Would prefer no-heavier-than-canon levels on the Catholic guilt and suffering.

A shot in the dark kind of request, but this show was extremely formative for me as a child, and the weird magical premise has influenced my tastes in media ever since. If you're familiar with it, or willing to watch a few of the episodes on YouTube, anything that explores Jeff and Jodie's sweet interactions helping Jeff learn to Be People would be incredible. A focus on Christmas or the winter holiday season would be a nice touch!

DNW: More than passing references to other MCU properties - references or one-liners are fine, but please don't feature any other MCU characters not appearing in WBN.I loved this charming little riff on horror, even though I'm not at all familiar with the source comics. I just love a good werewolf story, and Jack is just the kind of messy, sympathetic, funny, visceral, haunted, and terrifying werewolf I love, and Elsa's tough, burdened hunter working with him is a perfect meeting of wounded souls. Anything you want to do with them, feel free. Shipfic or gen are equally welcome, as are AU premises.

Absurd as this film it, it still absolutely charmed me and I loved it shamelessly. I would be delighted to receive any gift that focuses on Elly and Aidan, and would be happy to see any of the rest of the cast in there, too, such as Alfie (cat or human!) and Keira. In fact, I debated also requesting Argylle and Wyatt, because I love the meta nature of the reality of Elly's books coming into play, and figure the film's absurdity is best chalked up entirely to Elly's unreliable narration!
There's something that just grabbed me about Elly's (entirely relatable) struggles as a writer and the messy self-insert, fanfic-y nature of her work, and the sort of wild wish fulfillment nonsense of being thrust into the spy world where a hang-dog sad wet man (who also happens to be an incredibly competent spy) awkwardly looks at her with heart eyes on a continuous basis. Whatever you want to do with this - post-canon, pre-canon (what was their relationship like, and maybe what happened in Mogadishu that Aidan throws away in a line of narration?), absurd AU premises - go for it.

The main thing I want from this is to see Gerta's growth from the child who was the Marroners' servant to the woman who is Marion's friend, whether your story's about the journey or the end result. I'd be especially interested in a story from Gerta's point of view; she was the only one who never got to speak for herself in the original work. I'm equally interested in Gerta/Marion and in gen. If it's the former, though, please make it clear that Marion has come to see Gerta as an independent adult, that Gerta has come to see Marion as a peer, and that this is (and is understood by both as) a mutually-agreed-upon relationship between equals. I'm OK with Mr Marroner's interactions with Gerta being interpreted as rape or as consensual-but-deeply-skeevy.
DNW: on-screen noncon; Mr Marroner being part of Gerta's, Marion's, or the baby's life in the end; any difficulty with Gerta's pregnancy; any harm to Gerta's baby.

The main thing I want from this is to see the young couple living happily and as they choose despite 1850s gender roles. (Keep her the breadwinner!) I'd like the old gentleman to be more or less open-minded about their unconventionality, even though he's dubious about its practicality. I'm not too fussy about historical accuracy; the romance-novel version of Victorian England is fine. (However, please stick with something real-ish-tic, not the Victorian matriarchy from some of Leech's other antifeminist cartoons.)
I'd also be interested in a queer take on this where the gentleman's "son" is actually a trans woman. (What's her view of dress reform?) I'd be especially interested in a story exploring the differences between first-wave feminists' relationship to gender and contemporary queer relationships to it. If you go for a queer take, I'd prefer some level of background accuracy regarding feminist and queer history, and please have the bloomer basically understand and accept her fiancee (even though it's an 1850s-shaped understanding and acceptance).
DNW: any violence directed at the couple; the couple splitting up or being forced into a more conventional life.

Summary
The main thing I want from this is to see the narrator and Jenny not settle. The music video for this song makes their relationship into a closeted affair that doesn't change their lives much in the end, and I hate it; the song by itself suggests that it's liberating. I'd like them to dump the dudes (at least these particular dudes), consider all the many options available to them that aren't het marriage, and go live lives that make them happy (preferably together).

Likes/Dislikes: I would prefer fic that is over a PG rating, I love porny plots and I ship pretty hard. I don't have too many dislikes: dystopian fics are kind of a no-go for me, character bashing is a big no-no (if you don't like a character, I'd prefer they not make it into the story), bugcock (thank you Glee fandom for introducing me to that), emetophilia, ingesting of urine or feces (this probably would make more sense if I had put my "likes" first, Ha Ha!), non-canon permanent character death. That's about it. My likes: mpreg, watersports/scat (watersports more than scat), hurt/comfort (and the hurt can go pretty far, venturing into torture so long as there's the comfort after), resolved angst, I'm fine with non-con that isn't between the pairings I like (particularly if it's used as the hurt part of hurt/comfort).
