“You know,” the incubus purred, “it is traditional to kiss beneath this little sprig. Wouldn’t you like to try something new, little Bat?” Tav watched on, entranced, as the incubus pulled the vampire flush with their body, holding their lips just shy of touching his.The pale elf released a breathless and needy moan as they continued to tease, waiting until he was stretching up to kiss and staying always a hair’s breadth away.
Meanwhile, Halsin was holding Tav’s back close against his chest, kissing and nipping along her neck, whispering in her ear. “Do you enjoy watching him like this, my heart? Our usually dominant lover giving over control to them, lusting after their kiss?”
“Gods…” Tav could barely find words to reply as the druid’s hands held her tightly, one curling up around her breast to tease her through her clothes whilst the other drifted lower, his thumb stroking along the line of her hip.

Tav took a deep breath to steady himself. He wasn’t even sure how he got here, but he would be damned if he was going to turn around and walk away now.
Either side of the bed, the two elves stood waiting, about as patiently as they could manage.
Astarion on the left, wearing a simple harness of leather straps and a lustful smirk on his lips. Halsin, on the right, barely had a scrap of material wrapped around his waist, and held a long vine in one hand.
“Well, darling? What are you waiting for?” Astarion gestured towards the bed.
“It has long passed time for dinner, do not keep us waiting any longer.” Halsin put a low threatening edge in his voice, though Tav knew his threats would vanish at a single word. But it was far too early to consider anything of the sort.

Summary
The final battle arrives, bringing with it the choices that Tav has been avoiding for a long time. In the aftermath, however, there is finally time to breathe, to look around and see not just what has been lost but everything that has been won. There's still a long way to go, for all of them, but perhaps the future still has more in store for them now the dawn no longer arrives with a looming threat beneath her home.

The finale to this series, and the end to the journey Tav has taken through the Sword Coast and all it has to offer. Perhaps more lost pages might yet be found, but for now the ink shall be left to dry and the leatherbound cover of this not-so humble account of our dear Tav's adventures shall close.
