Intro:
Most nights, I am awake with nothing but my blankets, soft tunes, and the light of my phone as I read through fic after fic. It is definitely far from healthy, but there's nothing that has helped me through my sadness, my inability to sleep and whatever lurks between the two than the stories of other people.
I love all those stories. Ever since I was a tiny eleven year old huddled under the covers with my shitty screen and unstable wifi there has never been anything better than the intricately woven tales of wonderful authors.
I'm not conceited enough to say that I have some veteran authority that these are the best, or that everyone can enjoy them or that they're all underrated works. No matter the disparity between their themes, or whether they're old or young, each and every one of these stories mean something to me. But with each and every single one of these, I feel I could dissect them and talk about why I love them for hours on end. And I believe that is enough.
