General Info
The White Spikes are a hyper-aggressive species of Planet-cleanser designed specifically for the purpose of whipping the native lifeforms (or anything living on) a planet to make way for colonization.
The White spikes derive from a now extinct species of platypus-like organisms native to a small world orbiting a Blue Giant Star. They as a species lived a pretty nice life all things considered, simplifying living their days within the planet's stupidly big and expansive wetlands eating any mollusk or arthropod analogs they found. Life for them was good… THEN ALONG CAME SHOCKWAVE.
The species was made the unfortunate test subjects of one of Shockwaves MANY forays into experimenting with organic lifeforms. With him somehow through a mixture of gene splicing and prolonged ore-11, turning the relatively calm and passive base proto-spikes into the hyper-carnivorous beasts the galaxy knows as today. They are used primarily as planet cleansers by Shockwave (Most high-ranking deceptions don't trust anything he makes for very understandable reasons.) being sent onto worlds to cleanse them of all organic life on them. Or to soften them up for another possible attack by shockwave's many BOW’S and superweapons if the world somehow survives the attack.
They are cunning, fast and deadly. Not only are they lethal alone, but they swarm and attack with heavy carnage. While they can run, swim and jump, they can't fly. Though they get around this by taking a page from the zombies of the terrible WWZ adaptation and its actual good game by scaling up high surfaces they often form into living tidal waves that spell near total doom to whatever poor bastard has the misfortune of having to fend them off. They possess an animalistic intelligence, operating on a pack-based mentality of the fittest and largest white spikes being the herds leader with the weak or young being the lowest ranked of them all.
Trivia
→ The White Spikes exhibit EXTEREMR sexual dimorphism, with females being far smarter, aggressive, and larger than the males are. This being a genetic relic from their pre-shockwave experiment form.
→ They’re called white spikes due to both their pale white coloration, and their signature spike-projectible shooting organs housed within their tail-like limbs.
→ They are the primary non-aka antagonists of any possible Danger au version I’d post here.
→ They’re chemical make-up is an unholy hodgepodge of carbon, silicon, pyrite, and transformium (blame bay for making this the only name cybertronian metals have) elements.
